Congratulations to The Destroyer and Buddy Rogers on becoming your first World and IC champs respectively... Truly an exciting journey... And it's only just begun! I agree with Pariah. That was an outstanding tournament and congrats to both The Destroyer and Buddy Rogers on claiming the gold. I look forward to the next round of action from the B & W Legends Fed.

26.01.01.24 @ Coliseum, New Haven, CT (2.4)
Injuries: Sandman 3, Frank Gotch 5, Baba 8 cards
In a fast paced encounter, Red Bastien stunned Nick Bockwinkel tossing him off of the corner and pinning him with after an ATOMIC DROP. 2.0
In a controversial match that saw the referee get knocked down for eight moves and interference from Virgil, Harley Race defeated a bloody Ted DiBiase by count-out. 3.0
The match between Road Warrior Animal and Jimmy Valiant ended quickly after Animal battering rammed Valiant into the ring post after only four moves and was disqualified. D
Johnny & Greg Valentine came back against Jimmy Snuka & Bobo Brazil when Greg Valentine submitted Brazil with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Earlier in the match, Johnny Valentine survived a SUPERFLY LEAP (1) and SUPERFLY LEAP (5) back to back. 4.0
Road Warrior Hawk gave Intercontinental Champion Buddy Rogers fits including hitting two FLYING CLOTHESLINES but Rogers came back to retain the title with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. 3.0
Things remain hot in my two major tag team feuds (Road Warriors v. Valiant Brothers and Bobo Brazil & Jimmy Snuka v. Greg Valentine & Johnny Valentine). Race looks really impressive against Ted DiBiase and will be looking to get his hands not only on the Million Dollar Man but Virgil as well. Up next, we head the Mid-Hudson Civic Center for The Destroyer’s first title defense against Killer Kowalski who already has a victory over the new champion in the round robin tournament.

Despite his injury, Sandman shocked Ox Baker with a White Russian Leg Sweep after only six moves. D
In a very violent intense match, Greg Valentine and Jimmy Snuka beat each other into a bloody mess in and out of the ring, exchanging finishers before Valentine used multiple Valentine Chops to down Snuka. 4.0
The Road Warriors stole a victory from the Valiant Brothers when Hawk avoided Johnny Valiant’s deathjump smash and rolled him up for the win (snake eyes!) The Valiant Brothers go on the attack after the bell tossing Animal into the post and then doubling up on Hawk leaving him bloodied and battered. 4 card injury. 2.0
Killer Kowalski spoiled The Destroyer’s first title defense of the World Title when he picked up the win via disqualification when he grabbed a chair for Kowalski and used the weapon on his challenger. 2.0

Tough title defenses for the new champions but it was cool to see both men retain the gold. Buddy Rogers got an impressive victory over Hawk and too bad The Destroyer lost by DQ to Killer Kowalski. I would definitely like to see a Destroyer-Kowalski rematch. The Gotch vs. George match in Portland, ME, sounded incredible and what a huge win for George.

Thank you for the comments.
Things are definitely not finished between The Destroyer and Kowalski.
The Gotch - George bout may be my match of the month. It was off the charts and their conflict is quickly rising up the card.
Major feuds over the next few cards will see Road Warriors taking on the Valiant Brothers, Ox Baker battling The Sandman, Greg Valentine & Johnny Valentine v. Bobo Brazil & Jimmy Snuka, Gorgeous George v. Frank Gotch and Harley Race v. Ted DiBiase.
Look for the battle for the Tag Team Titles to take place in February.
Looking forward to the dice hitting the table!

Bobo Brazil & Jimmy Snuka managed to keep Johnny Valentine in the ring for the entire match and picked up the victory over Greg Valentine and Johnny Valentine when Brazil used back to back COCO BUTTS on Johnny Valentine for the win. 1.0
Killer Kowalski used his size and brutality to get the best of World Champion The Destroyer and captured the title with back to back bombs away knee drops. TITLE CHANGE! 4.0
Killer Kowalski is your new champion . . . Frank Gotch & Gorgeous George continue to step up the intensity each time they get into the ring against each other . . . Ox Baker’s feud with The Sandman continues to be hot.

Gotch getting disqualified is rather amusing.....though it also is nice to show how intense the feud is. Bastien gets a bit too wild and Kowlaski shows off how vicious his knee drops are as he claims the belt.
Interesting note for me anyways, early in Legends I teamed Sandman and Baker for a while and then it turned into a big early feud. Fun times.
