Bertoli's vs. Santorini's- The Story

In Northern Italy a crime family has controlled the streets & Businesses for years. Two members of this family, Vito and Alphonso Santorini, were nephews of the boss Guido Santorini. Vito and Alphonso handled all of the money laundering and making sure the store fronts ran smoothly and paid in a timely manner. On the side, Guido opened up an underground fighting association. Vito and Alphonso were in charge of running this association. It turned out to be a very lucrative idea and word reached the Bertoli Family in Southern Italy. Gino Bertoli, Boss of the Bertoli Family, sent his two sons, Angelo and Mario up North to whack the Santorini Boys and take over the operation

The Santorini Boys caught wind of this and set a trap for the Bertoli Brothers. They sent out open invitations to fight in their association. The Bertoli Brothers had some suspicions but felt this was a good way to get in and do the job.

After getting in, Angelo and Mario called their father Gino and told him they were about to do the job when they were caught by Alphonso and Vito Santorini. The Santorini Boys tied up the Bertoli Brothers and beat them bad. Angelo suffered muscle damage to his arms and hands. Mario had a concussion, broken nose and some hearing damage. The Bertoli Brothers were spared because the Santorini Boys loved beating them they refuse to kill them

After sending Mario and Angelo back to South Italy, Gino Bertoli vowed to kill Vito and Alphonso and destroy the Santorini family empire and take over the entire syndicated crime of the whole country of Italy.

For the next few months, a bloody war ensued between the two families with many deaths. Businesses were burned to the ground and both sides took heavy losses. Soon both Families were weary that they would crumble. They soon met and agreed to end the war. Both sides were uneasy about showing weakness but it had to be done. Secretly, The Bertoli Brothers and the Santorini Boys met and decided they would settle the feud. The Bertoli Brothers told the Santorini Boys to train up as they want to settle this in a tag team death match. The Santorini Boys agreed and trained for three months and the match was on.

On June 17th 2008, The Bertoli Brothers and The Santorini Boys met in a barbwire rope, broken glass, flaming tables match. In a grueling forty two minute match all four men were completely wrapped in barbwire with glass all over their bodies and went through the fiery tables and were all knocked out. The match ended in a draw, settling nothing.

After recovering the Bertoli Brothers went on with their wrestling career and the Santorini Boys trained secretly with no one knowing. Now as the Bertoli Brothers are going to the big time, The Santorini Boys have emerged and opened a challenge to the Bertoli Brothers and these two teams are on a collision course with very bad intentions and blood!!!

After searching for the Bertoli Brothers, The Santorini's finally caught up with them and have asked them for the match and the promoter seeing the huge profit to be made put the recently vacated IWF tag team titles on the line. Titles vacated after the old champs, The Destroyers, were mysteriously injured and fled the country. Speculation is that The Bertoli's used their power to get them out but can not be proven. So now on this day comes their rematch from their violent deathmatch and someone is walking out the tag team champions. Bad blood all the way around here and finally the score will be settled, or just up one on the other.

Bertoli Brothers vs. Santorini Boys- IWF Tag Team Title Match:
The buzz in the arena was alarming and the match was electrfying. Both teams were out for blood and both teams vowed to destroy the other. The Santorini's and Bertoli's got into their corners and the match began. neither side wanted to give anything up and both sides wanted to bloody the other. The Santorini's seemed a little stronger but The Bertoli's a bit quicker. Back and forth these 4 men went, no one giving anyone the edge. At the 12 minute mark Alphonso Santorini got cornered by the Bertoli's and a beating ensued while the ref kept Vito Santorini at bay in his corner not allowing him to come in. Soon Alphonso was bloody and in a weak state. The Bertoli's took turns delivering their special moves and then signaled for the Sleepin With Da Fishes. When they set up Alphonso and Mario went to the top, Vito pushed him to the floor and then hit a thunderous clothesline on Angelo Bertoli. Vito was a house of fire and he hit his DA HIT and put out Mario. After that Vito and Alphonso Santorini hit the Santorini Sandwich 3 times on Angelo and pinned him at 17:32 to win and capture the vacant IWF Tag Team Titles.

With this win the Santorini's are one up on the Bertoli's and things are just getting started. After the event a press conference was held in the arena and the Bertoli's told the Santorini's that they will pay and will lose those IWF tag titles. That better watch their back because when they get back to Italy, Angleo and Mario are going back to their dad, Boss Gino, and see what can be done about the Santorini's winning the match that way. Sure the secret will be out but the Families treaty is still uneasy.

The Santroini's were not scared and told the Bertoli's to do what they need to but the Santorini Family will always be on guard and with the tag straps from the IWF, The Santorini Boys are on top of the independent tag team division and they are not losing their grip.
