Today I bought my ticket to go to the NHL Expansion Draft and the NHL annual awards show (which has been here in Las Vegas since 2009.). I can't wait to see who my Vegas Golden Knights get in the expansion draft!

Sinclair Promotions any predictions on who might be going to the Golden Knights? From what I hear, the Vegas Golden Knights might be getting some good talent in terms of goalies (since teams can only protect 1) and defenders but not much for the front of the line forcing them to play a conservative offense next season? Golden Knights didn't do too well in the NHL draft lottery last month by only getting the 6th pick.

I think they'll end up with one of Pittsburghs goalies at least, especially if Pittsburgh can get Fleury to waive he NMC

I think it should be a good time and even more so with Vegas now having a team... yeah, although the annual NHL Awards show has been here in Las Vegas since at least 2009 (I remember it was held at The Pearl Theater in The Palms back then) I never actually went to it before. Having spent my entire life in Seattle and Las Vegas, I never had an attachment to an NHL team but now this year it is being held with the expansion draft. An added bonus is it being held at T-Mobile Arena- a jewel of an arena! I am more excited about the Golden Knights then I am about the Raiders moving here in 2020! |

I also think the Gooden Knights will end up being saddled with Evander Kane of Buffalo formally Winnipeg/Atlanta. From what I'm herding he's one name the Sabres aren't going to protect

Could your excitement have more to do with the Golden Knights coming first? I think partially yes but largely no. yes because there is obviously a difference in excitement between a team playing here as early as next season compared to a team not moving here until 2020 but mostly no because I already have an NFL attachment in my Seahawks (when the Raiders move here they will just be my 2nd favorite team) but I have never ever had an NHL team before |

I know when the Buffalo Bandits were coming to Buffalo in 1992, I was really excited about having a new team that I can say I was there at the start.
