Definitely Kevin Sullivan. He lived the gimmick in Florida and made people believe in kayfabe. I don't think anyone else could convince that many people that he was really evil.

I don't think anyone could have pulled off the super white bread all American heel thing as well as Kurt Angle did. Could probably say the same for Brock's 2014-present run as the worldbeating monster as well.

I think this statement could hold true for a number of great characters... One guy that I think gets overlooked a lot is Sean Waltman... No matter what name he used - 123 Kid, Syxx, X-Pac... He was like a walking powder keg and his size to attitude ratio is something that is difficult to duplicate.

Flair: Didn't Buddy Landell do a good job imitating him? If Flair had become a doctor as he thought he would have been, Landell could have taken Flair's place, no problem. Demolition: Sid Vicious & Spivey could have easily painted their faces and played the part. Plus, you forget that RANDY COLLEY was the Original Smash. Had the fans not recognized him as one of the Moondogs, Darsow wouldn't have been brought in at all. As a team, I am one of the fans that consider Demo an LoD rip-off (never thought Darsow was good, just look at all his other characters). As for MY list: Sting (A big fan fave, for some reason.) Hogan (Who else could have been Hogan? Vince is STILL looking!) Jesse Ventura (Yes, a Superstar Graham wanna-be, but he did carve his own niche nicely.) Capt Lou ("Often imitated, never duplicated" as the Captain had said often!) Chyna ('Nuff said!) Frankie Williams (Okay, I HAD to add him! All hail, King of the Jobbers!)

Actually, not nearly enough said. I'm actually kind of curious how she was the only roided up female bodybuilder who could play her character and I ask this as someone who likes Chyna.
