The show opens up with Commissioner Cox in the ring.
Commissioner Cox: Hello and welcome back. I wanted to start off by congratulating all of our champions. The UWF Tag Team Champions: The Road Warriors; the first UWF Television Champion Frank Gotch; and the new UWF Champion Harley Race.
I also want to congratulate our first ever Royal Rumble champion Torin Caelum. Now on to business.
The six man match between Solid Money (Ted Dibiase, Screw, and Ricken Prince) vs. Giant Baba & Defiance (Blood & Jammer) did not happen because neither team could control themselves. So at Card #008 Rivals PPV, we will see Rock Solid take on Defiance and Ted Dibiase vs Giant Baba. Both matches will be no DQ.
Things are moving fast here in the UWF and more changes will be coming in the near future. As many of you know we have a gentleman by the name of Santon who has made quite a name for himself recently. He not only made a statement to Nick Bockwinkel, but he also beat him to become the number one contender to the UWF Title.
That is great for him, but I do not think it was great for the fans as I know that Nick is better than that and was underestimating his opponent. That being said there will be another match between Nick and Santon tonight with the winner getting a title shot.
Santon now makes his way to the ring.
Santon: With all due respect commissioner, I will forgive you as you do not know who I am, but that will happen only once. I demand my match with Harley Race tonight since I already beat Bockwinkel. So I want my match or Aethran Agression will reign down destruction and that is something you do not want.
Before Commissioner Cox can reply Harley Race makes his way to the ring.
Race: I would like to put my two cents. I like this guy (points to Santon) and he did beat Bockwinkel when he was champion and so did I (he holds the title in the air as fans cheer). It does not matter if Nick was ready for the match or he underestimated his opponent, a win is a win. That being said I want to prove why I am the champion and I want to face him tonight for the title.
Commissioner Cox thinks about it then says ok. So then tonight Nick Bockwinkel will take on Ox Baker and Harley Race will face Santon for the UWF Championship. Good luck gentlemen.

TED DIBIASE (1-1) vs TROTARUS (0-0)
Rock Solid came out with Ted Dibiase. The announcers introduce Trotarus, but he does not show. They introduce him one more time and he does not show. The ref raises Dibiase's hand for the win. Dibiase laughs at the crowd and flashes his money at them.
Ted Dibiase beat Trotarus by forfeit Cameras go to the back and we see Trotarus unconscious in the back. Commissioner Cox is unhappy and says this is another thing that Dibiase will pay for.

In the ring interview with Buddy Rogers.
Rogers talks about his match at Royal Rumble and how he did not tap out, but the biased ref ended the match anyway. He can beat Gotch any day of the week and challenges Gotch to another match at Rivals PPB. He then says when he gets his FIGURE FOUR on Gotch he will not stop the hold no matter how much Gotch begs him to until he hears the snap of his leg.
Gotch comes out and says he has a match tonight against Commander Sam, but will fight Rogers right now just to prove a point.
Rogers says ok and takes off his jacket, but then steps out of the ring and grabs another microphone. He says that he will see him at Rivals and leaves.

COMMANDER SAM (1-2) vs FRANK GOTCH (c) (3-0)
NON TITLE MATCH
* Sam starts the match with a forearm smash after both men counter each others moves.
* Sam goes for STAR SPANGLED BANNER (running forearm/elbow smash), but somehow Gotch counters with GOTCH TOEHOLD. Sam taps out.
Frank Gotch (1) beat Commander Sam (0) with GOTCH TOEHOLD.After the match Buddy Rogers storms the ring and lays out Gotch. He then puts on the FIGURE FOUR and holds it. Gotch is in agony and is finally saved by Commander Sam.

ROCK SOLID (2-0) vs GUARDIANS (1-1)
* Omega starts the match with an armlock on Prince.
* Morpheus with TRIP TO HADES (running power slam off ropes) on Prince … 1 … 2 … kick out! … TRIP TO HADES on announce table … table does not break … power drop … tag with Omega … double team … Omega makes the cover … 1 … 2 … Screw tries to break pin … Morpheus spears Screw through the ropes … 3!
Guardians (Omega 0, Morpheus 0) beat Rock Solid (Ricken Prince 3, Screw 0).------------------------
Cameras show Commissioner Cox in his office and Frank Gotch is livid.
Gotch says he has had enough of Rogers and wants the match next week. Cox says that will not happen as he wants them at the Rivals PPV. He then says to make it worthwhile for Gotch, that match will not be a submission match. Gotch is happy with that and leaves the office.

GORGEOUS GEORGE (w/Cherie Dupree) (2-1) vs CORDSAR (0-3)
* Cordsar quickly hits knife edge chop to start the match
* Match spills outside of the ring and both men are brawling now … ref cannot seperate them and DQ both men.
Double DQ on Gorgeous George and Cordsar.Both men continue their brawl to the back locker room. Finally after several minutes both men are separated by the other wrestlers.

* Blacklash starts by slapping Bullwhip in the face

*Foreign Legion attacks Valentines before the match
* Nikolai hits Greg with the Russian Flag

Santon is shown in the back standing by a limo. We are unable to see who he is talking to.

Baker with a clothesline that knocks Nick out of the ring … Baker tosses him back in the ring
Nick with BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER … Baker is able to break the hold … BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER … Baker tries to hold on … passes out.
