Hope the best of 5 actually hits the 5. Go Shogun Titans. That's definitely the goal when running a Best-of series... We'll see if Nexus (the Titan Avenger) can push Spec to the full five!

SWX Pure #23
Lord Nexus vs. Star Warrior w/ Nova Lord Nexus defeated Star Warrior. (Tokens: n/a) - Warrior comes in hot, but appears somewhat disoriented and loses his balance while attempting a high risk move. Nexus wastes no time putting Warrior down with an AVENGER SLAM.
- By the time he stumbles out of the ring, it becomes obvious that Warrior is intoxicated. Shaking her head with disgust, Nova leaves Warrior lying on the floor and walks to the back without him.
SWX Holonet Title Match: Neuromancer* vs. Rage Neuromancer defeated Rage. (Tokens: Neuromancer 4 - Rage 1) - Rage becomes frustrated as Neuromancer refuses to stay down and summons Category Five and Torment to ringside. Not wanting any outside involvement, the official orders the Aethrans to leave. When Rage steps in to protest, Neuromancer bounces back and hits TECHNO SYNDROME, a twisting hurricanrana, for the pinfall.
Neuromancer retained the SWX Holonet Championship for a successful version one title defense.
- As Neuromancer tries to catch his breath, the Aethran Hit Squad surround the ring. Before they can attack, the Ultimate Fighters charge from the back to make the save! A wild brawl erupts and security is needed to separate the parties.
Steele Freak w/ Vin Strutter vs. Zeta Grey Steele Freak defeated Zeta Grey. (Tokens: Freak 3 - Grey 5) - Grey uses his technical expertise to take firm control until Strutter him in the face with a microphone! Freak jumps on Grey and unleashes a savage attack outside the ring, busting him open. With Strutter issuing steady commands, Freak pins Grey with a BERSERK POUNDING ASSAULT.
Theater of Pain (Comedy & Tragedy) w/ Vin Strutter vs. Ultimate Fighters (Clinch & Shoot) Theater of Pain defeated Ultimate Fighters. (Tokens: Comedy 2, Tragedy 2 - Shoot 4) - Each team delivers a solid performance in this hard hitting encounter. Comedy and Tragedy trap Shoot in a corner while Strutter grabs onto Clinch to prevent him from making the save. Theater nails Shoot with SHAKESPEARE, a double team torture rack/flying elbow combination, and Comedy hooks the leg for a three count.
- Upon reaching the backstage area, Clinch and Shoot are confronted by the Aethran Hit Squad. A heated verbal dispute quickly escalates into a wild brawl and security is needed to separate the two teams.
Six Man Tag Match: Gheist and Virus (Ensor & Zygon) vs. Scud and Shogun Titans (Giant Azuma & Kenji) Gheist and Virus (Ensor & Zygon) defeated Scud and Shogun Titans (Giant Azuma & Kenji) via disqualification. (Tokens: Scud 4) - Despite a shared look of concern, Azuma and Kenji allow Scud to start the match. Scud quickly finds himself isolated and unable to make it back to his own corner for a much needed tag. Unwilling to watch the merciless assault any longer, Azuma and Kenji shove their way past the official to join the fight.
Perfect Specimen vs. Thantos Perfect Specimen defeated Thantos via disqualification. (Tokens: Spec 5 - Thantos 4) - A grueling conflict reaches a controversial finish. Star Warrior appears at ringside and though he makes no attempt to get directly involved in the match, his antics draw the attention of the official long enough for Spec to stun Thantos with a low blow. Lord Nexus arrives and tries to point out what has taken place. Spec takes a swing at Nexus, who blocks the blow and instantly retaliates.
- Temporarily placing their Best of Five series on hold, Mother Superior announces that Nexus and Spec will compete in tag team action on the next show with their respective partners being Thantos and Star Warrior.
Monolith w/ The Dark Menace and Paganax vs. Harbinger and Murdok w/ Witchdoctor Harbinger and Murdok defeated Monolith and Paganax. (Tokens: Harbinger 1 - Monolith 2) - Before the contest begins, The Dark Menace quietly informs Paganax that Monolith stands alone. Instead of remaining idle, Paganax immediately goes after Witchdoctor and chases him away from ringside. Monolith appears to have the situation under control while battling Harbinger inside the ring. Suddenly, he looks into the crowd and spots Harbinger staring back at him from the front row! The instant of shock allows Harbinger to claim the upper hand, chopping Monolith down at the knees before tagging in his partner. Murdok locks in CENTRA TAKEOVER, a cross armbreaker, and unable to escape the hold, Monolith eventually passes out!
- Before exiting, Harbinger scans the area for the cloaked doppelganger, but he seems to have vanished. Several others witness the mysterious individual, including Murdok. During a private discussion with Witchdoctor, he realizes that neither have any knowledge of the stranger's identity or intentions.

You made me want to do a teaming of the Lords of the Nexuses. Something to do in the future. Nice win by Murdok and Harbinger. Always good to see TOP in action.

You made me want to do a teaming of the Lords of the Nexuses. Something to do in the future. Nice win by Murdok and Harbinger. Always good to see TOP in action. How many Lords of the Nexus(es) do we have now? LOL! At some point, I'd like to start mixing the CWF characters into this fed, but I might leave Nexus out of it for awhile... Just to create some separation between the two personas... I was pleased that Murdok and Harbinger managed to pull that one out... The Harvester of the Plague has not really impressed since his arrival, so I'm thinking his stay might not last very long... Unless he's able to take the title from Monolith (but, I ain't counting on that)... Many thanks for staying tuned!

The Lord Nexus in the CWF would be the equivalent of Scion Nexus in the standard timeline. Still, I can appreciate keeping him out to tone down possible confusion.

With excellent ring awareness, Ensor rolls out of harm's way and hits Azuma with a series of high impact moves. Harbinger vs. Paganax Harbinger defeated Paganax. (Tokens: Harbinger 3 - Paganax 2) - The action swiftly comes to a boil and both men are nearly disqualified while brawling outside the ring. Paganax injures his shoulder when he misses a running big boot and crashes through a table propped up against the rails. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Harbinger rolls Paganax back into the ring and delivers a powerbomb into a jackknife pinning combination.
- While heading towards the back, Harbinger comes face to face with his cloaked doppelganger. The figure reaches out a hand before disappearing in a cloud of mist.
Perfect Specimen and Star Warrior w/ Nova vs. Lord Nexus and Thantos Perfect Specimen and Star Warrior defeated Lord Nexus and Thantos. (Tokens: Spec 2, Warrior 2 - Nexus 4, Thantos 2) - Nova somehow manages to keep Warrior on track in this seesaw battle.
