Last night I reunited with some old friends. Unable to sleep thinking about my wife's surgical procedure today I decided to break out the original set and roll some cards to get my mind off things. I first decided to decorate my blank play mat with a GWF logo (crude but no yet finished). I haven't rolled a GWF card in years so I decided to start back where it all began for me 20 years ago. I held tournies to crown my champions. Comrade Terror won the Interplanetary Title and Brute won the Galactic Title. I then rolled 3 cards which included Galactic Tag Titles tournament matches. On card #3 Flamboyance (Killer Queen & Vanity) repeated history in becoming my first tag champions (same thing happened in my original fed 20 years ago!) The main event on card #3 was Brute defending the Galactic Title against Thantos in a long hard fought battle. It was great and fun reuniting with old friends that I havent seen in years. A nice escape from things going on in life... I was able to not think about my wife's surgery, no politics, no wars, etc. I plan on taking my laptop to the hospital today and continue building a new history with the help of COTGOnline.

Also, my 2087 Thantos is colored blue.

Really cool, Ace. I hope things go smoothly for your wife. Also, my 2087 Thantos is colored blue. I didn't color these cards, I got this 2087 set off ebay years ago and the original owner had colored them. I didnt mind as my original 2087 cards were getting worn out... the days before i discovered card protectors.

Well, the procedure was aborted due to complication and she will have to have another femoral artery bypass in the very near future. Thank you all for the well wishes. I truly appreciate it.
