Card #5 Two-Point Night at Dimension X Sports Auditorium
Commander Sam dominated Mad Jester in a return NO DQ grudge match scoring an important 2 points for the FDF! **
Earthquake withstood and overpowered Tendron the Destroyer continuing the dominance of Piper's Pit! * 1/2
Vlad Hammer was thoroughly trounced by the mystic powers of Count Necros. 1/2 *
Dragonmaster bewildered Death Masque with an offensive assault in a one sided match. **
Justice won by DQ over Exo-King who was dead set on injuring Justice from the start of the contest. Killer Queen came down to ringside and the Royal Court mugged Justice without mercy for a solid two minutes until the entire FDF stormed the ring to try to help. It was too little too late as Justice is most likely going to be out for the rest of the War Games. This is a huge blow to the FDF! **
Whiplash was dropped for the upset win to a offensive barrage by Billy Joe Boxer, avenging his injured captain Lord Nexus. ***
Dreadnaught and Toongsoon lost by DQ for illegal moves outside the ring against Mesmar and Renegade. No points were awarded. *1/2
Iron Mane won a nail biter in his return from injury to Mayhem. After the match Mayhem and Brute doubled teamed Mane and re-injured his already compromised shoulder. He is listed as questionable to return for the rest of the War Games tour. This is a huge blow to an Animal team that is already down big on points! Wolf and Amazonia seem to be running out of options. ***
Massif lost a solid match up to the returning Matador who was fired up to be back in the squared circle. ***1/2
Star Warrior big banged Kraken's hopes of revenge in a match that did not live up to the classic status of the last bout. **1/2
Bishop Hell lost in the cage to The Galactic Punisher who brutalized the evil one from pillar to post. At the end of the match the Royal Court stormed the ring and wouldn't allow the Punisher to leave. Bishop Hell came to his senses and hit GP with a Hellfire. Mad Jester and Hell proceeded to smash the Punisher repeatedly with a steel chair on the head, leaving him in a pile in the middle of the ring. This marks two critical injuries in one night for the FDF! **1/2
The Gladiators again prevailed over the Animals of Andromeda in an Ultimate Escape Match. ***
(Order of escape: Brute, Wolf and Massacre leaving Incredible Badger in the ring for the loss.)
In the main event of the evening Thantos humbled the mighty Chaos by submission to the Masterlock in a contest that saw Chaos never able to gain the upper hand! He was fuming after the match and destroyed the entire ringside area in a fit of rage! Thantos watched with a sly grin from the ramp and exited as the night's big winner! ***
Statement from Commissioner Carter: As a result of the overwhelming amount of injuries happening during this War Games tour, I am now setting the stipulation that all intentional injuries will result in 5 points being awarded to the team who sustains the loss. Also the one who commits the violation will be subject to a two card suspension and a 30,000 credit fine which will be paid in full before they are allowed to return to wrestling action. This goes in to effect as of right now. Also due to the Royal Court excessively injuring members of the Federation Defense Fighters, I am suspending Bishop Hell and Mad Jester until such a time as The Galactic Punisher is able to return to wrestling action. If he is unable to make it back to the ring before this tour is over, so be it. The contest will continue with the remaining members of both teams. It is my hope that we will see a final War Games style match to close out the tour in Madison Square Garden on Earth and fans will get their money's worth that night. But I will not tolerate these deplorable actions against my wrestlers! The Gladiators are also officially on notice! If Iron Mane doesn't make it back before this tour ends, I will be personally ensuring that there are severe consequences!
