On the fun side, I am playing 2133 and having a blast. Please note my results in the GWF feds section.
We are constantly working on the online games, just nothing earth-shattering to report.
We are working on short-term fixes, some stuff you may not notice but has an impact on us loading new content. We have made some progress.
For the long-run I have been speaking with a game programming company that may partner with us on a new online game system. We are looking for programmers that understand our unique history and needs before we make a commitment. I will make a final decision about this company in the next week. If we decide to work with them I think a new online system would be up and running by November.
Will report more updates as they are newsworthy but we are working on it!

Hope all goes well because having to wait till November to play 2133 is going to be rough. I would hope short term is the ability to play new releases on the old system until the new system is here. Is it for sure we will not see any of the new sets yet? |

The short term fixes that Tom is speaking to includes the ability to release the new games in the existing system. I don't expect that taking until November.
The new system will take some time to do right and that November time frame is aggressive to have everything needed in place, so don't be too hung up on that for sure being the month that the new platform will be made available just yet. Lots more to come I'm sure.

The idea is for a whole new system and have it more mobile friendly, as everyone plays games on tablets an phones these days primarily. I can't verify for sure what all will or will not shift to the new platform at this point, but its my hope that current players will be able to transition easily to the new system. |

Also, I never used anything but the game table. Did people really use the "create card" function. It was such an oddity; I just decided to only play the matches.

I use the show editor, create a Character, manage a roster features of the online. Just because you don't use a feature @du5tin dont assume that others don't. I use those features on a regular bases when I get a chance to play and would hate to see them go. But, I'm not opposed to using something else if something better comes along. |
