"TAG WARS - WORLD TAG GRAND PRIX - 2009" A.C.C.W. - SPECIAL EVENT May 11, 2009 Philadelphia, PA ECW Arena
*Afternoon Session*
*CHARLIE COX is out to announce the pairings for the first round and mentions that there are some exciting special attractions in between some of the action planned for the evening session.
FIRST ROUND
1) "KING OF OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO & RICKY LANDELL beat "SCRAP IRON" ADAM PEARCE & "ANARCHIST" ARIK CANNON by DISQUALIFICATION @ 18:32 when Cannon pushed the official to the ground.
Pearce took the microphone and dedicated the match to his friend, LARRY SWEENEY who was recovering at home. He also had a message of warning to BIG WHISKEY. So he called a man that he knew he could trust to take Sweeney's spot. This was an excellent start to the tournement that almost went the time limit. The end saw all four men in the ring as Cannon and Pearce attempted a double whip but Landell and Corino reversed it. Landell then quickly ascended to the top rope and nailed a TOP ROPE FIST DROP. Cannon leapt to make the save and ran over official Tommy Jones and hurled him to the mat. Jones made the DQ call as all four continued to brawl. Landell reached into his tights and popped Cannon between the eyes with an object that sent the heels out of the ring.
2) AL SNOW & GLACIER defeated BRODIE LEE & EDDIE KINGSTON when Lee tapped the ICE PICK @ 6:42.
The Roughnecks took control early with power brawling moves. Lee's whip to the buckle was reversed and Snow took over. Snow hit three successive SNOW-BOMBS and then made the tag to Glacier who applied the Thumb Choke in his corner. Snow held Kingston at bay and Lee had to concede.
3) DOUG & DANNY BASHAM defeated THE YOUNG BUCKS (MATT & NICK JACKSON) when Danny pinned Matt after a DOUBLE BRAIN DAMAGE @ 5:21.
The popular Bucks from California never got it going as the Bashams used several double team moves and isolated Matt in the corner. The final double CHOKEBOMB was too much to overcome as one set of brothers move on to the next round.
4) BRENT ALBRIGHT & ERICK STEVENS defeated THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS (PHIL & SEAN DAVIS)when Albright applied the CROWBAR on Sean and made him tap @ 4:06.
The Express used a few tag moves to surprise their stronger opponents but it was Albright who broke up the pin attempt after the HEARTBREAKER double team and reversed the pin. He then took control and after a 6-1 KNEE put away the larger Davis with the submission hold.
5) THE SANDMAN & JUSTIN CREDIBLE beat THE GIANT PAISAN & KING KONG BUNDY when Credible pinned Bundy after a SINGAPOE CANE shot to the head @ 6:42.
Bundy was tough to stop early due to his sheer size. Sandman made the tag and was able to distract the ref to allow Credible to chop Bundy down like a mighty Oak. Credible made the cover while Sandman crashed the Paisan with a flying elbow.
6) VAMPIRO & KEVIN THORN beat DELIRIOUS & MYSTERY M when Vampiro pinned M after a SPIKE PILEDRIVER @ 19:01.
Another wild finish that almost went the distance. Lots of high flying and risk taking from both teams. The end saw Vampiro land his NAIL IN THE COFFIN and went for the cover. Delirious rushed in to break up the pin but ref, Tex MacKenzie grabbed him and ordered him to the corner. Thorn jumped to the top rope and held M's legs to administer a devastating SPIKE PILEDRIVER to allow the Dark Breed to advance.
7) THEATER OF PAIN (COMEDY & TRAGEDY) defeated CARNAGE CREW (LOC & DEVITO) after a SHAKESPEARE on Loc and Tragedy covered him. @ 7:50.
The Crew took the fight straight to their strange opponents. Loc landed his REF and only could get a two count. The tables turned when the match went to the floor. Tragedy whipped Loc into the guardrails and then tossed him back in the ring. The faster Comedy went to work with an aerial assault. He hit the LAST LAUGH off the top rope but Devito broke up the count. He then tagged back in and they hit SHAKESPEARE to close the curtain on their foes.
8) THE ORDER OF THE NEO-SOLAR TEMPLE (w/ULTRAMANTIS BLACK) beat "HARDCORE ICON" DANNY DORING (w/EDDIE FYNE) & HARDCORE HOLLY when Malachi hit THE PROPHECY on Doring after Holly landed a stiff right in Doring's jaw @ 11:43.
Doring continued to play up his "hardcore" image but you could tell that even his partner wasn't buying it. In fact they had trouble working together and Doring made the mistake of trying to upstage Holly. Holly hit a FALCON ARROW and went for the cover but Doring insisted that he do it instead. Doring jumped in the ring, put one foot on Malachi and made the "Jericho pose" and flexed. Two count only. Doring was in trouble later in the match and instead of tagging out, Holly simply clocked Doring and left the ring. Malachi hit the PROPHECY and gave the Temple the win.

*Evening Session*
SECOND ROUND
1) HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) defeated "KING OF OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO & RICKY LANDELL when Antonio Armani pinned Corino with the HOT SHOT @ 7:01.
Landell started off continuing his newly aggressive style. Perhaps over-aggressive as he whipped Armani into the ref who went down hard. During the interim Fyne tried to intervene but was smashed with a right hand by Landell. He tagged off to Corino and soon all four were in the ring until a new official slid under the ropes. As he restored order he pushed Landell back to the corner and Romeo Versace and Armani hit a Double Neckbreaker! Corino was out as "Hot Property" hit the HOT SHOT to finish him off for good. Landell rushed into the ring and was clearly upset that Corino was pinned.
2) AL SNOW & GLACIER beat MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 18:21 when Sabin used a steel chair on Snow.
The Machine Guns were quickly in control and isolated Glacier on their side of the ring. After a SUPERKICK by Shelley and a two count, Glacier hit a forward roll to tag in Snow. Snow hit a pair a TRAPPING HEADBUTTS and a SNOW BOMB and hit the tag back. Glacier went for the ICE PICK that obtained victory in round one but Shelley made the ropes. The match continued to go back and forth until Snow hit the SNOW-PLOW on Shelley and all four men were in the ring. During the melee the ref go tied up getting Glacier back to his corner and Sabin tried to nail Snow from behind with a chair. The chair found its mark but the official caught the infraction and called for the bell.
3) NAPTOWN DRAGONS beat DOUG & DANNY BASHAM @ 4:32 when Scotty Vortekz pinned Doug after the KISS OF THE DRAGON.
The Bashams tried to overpower the smaller Dragons but speed won out in the end. Doug missed an elbow drop and Dustin Lee made the tag. Vortekz and his partner hit the KISS OF THE DRAGON and Doug Basham was on his back and the Dragons advance.
4) BRENT ALBRIGHT & ERICK STEVENS beat MR.JERGENSEN & THE MERCENARY when Albright applied the CROWBAR @ 15:30 and Jergensen tapped.
The most anticipated contest of the evening session. Both team used high impact moves and went for the kill early. Jergensen was caught in a few vicious double teams and had trouble regaining his footing. Albright hit a HALF NELSON SUPLEX and then used the Fujiwara Armbar to get the submission.
-SPECIAL ATTRACTION- LADIES MATCH- 5) DAIZEE HAZE pinned SARA DEL REY @ 6:12 with the MIND TRIP.
We take a break from the tag action to see two of the best ladies match up. Haze kept away from Del Rey's power and strung together a series of Yakuza Kicks and then the finish.
6) JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN beat JUSTICE LEAGUE when Sandman used the SINGAPORE CANE to pin Mike Quackenbush @ 8:52.
Both teams shook hands at the start of the match and maybe the team of Quackenbush and Ace were lulled into thinking that this match would be free of illegal tactics. When the match was in the ring the League dominated with a variety of wrestling moves. This had their opponents change strategy and took the action outside. A four way brawl erupted and as the ref was trying to restore order Sandman used his Cane to level Quack and get the fall. The fans were unsure how to take this victory.
7) THE BACKSEAT BOYZ defeated VAMPIRO & KEVIN THORN when Johnny Kashmere pinned Vampiro with the CRADLE BREAKER @ 7:12.
The Dark duo were in full control early as they used their power to full advantage. A mistake on a turnbuckle whip was all Kashmere needed to hook the Cradle Breaker and secure a spot in the next round.
8) THE KINGS OF WRESTLING beat THEATER OF PAIN when Chris Hero used the HANGMAN'S CLUTCH on Comedy @ 12:13.
Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero took their time in trying to figure out the strange duo. They were eventually able to keep the smaller Comedy in their corner and used a double facebuster to soften him up for Hero's Hangman's Clutch to obtain the victory.
9) THE JAMES GANG beat THE ORDER OF THE NEO-SOLAR TEMPLE (w/ULTRAMANTIS BLACK) when Kip James pinned Malachi with the STANDING LEG DROP @ 14:32.
The Temple made a strong showing here but it was the experience of the Gang that made the difference. Constant double teams and the approval of the fans and Kip hit the Leg drop to get the three.

"A.C.C.W. TAG WARS- WORLD TAG GRAND PRIX -2009" ACCW Special Event May 12, 2009 Philadelphia,PA ECW Arena *Day Two*
*CHARLIE COX is out to run down the action for tonight and says that he is glad that so many people have enjoyed the action. Remember in addition to crowning the winners of the tournament we have TWO title matches on tap for this evening.
-QUARTERFINALS-
1) HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) beat AL SNOW & GLACIER when Antonio Armani pinned Glacier with a BRIDGING BACK SUPLEX @ 14:21.
Glacier and Snow proved to be the champions toughest test so far in the tournament but came up short. Versace hit a SPINNING LEG LARIAT that caught Glacier in the face that Armani followed into a fantastic BACK SUPLEX with a bridge to get the three.
2) NAPTOWN DRAGONS beat BRENT ALBRIGHT & ERICK STEVENS by COUNTOUT @ 10:10 when Dustin Lee leveled Albright with a Cross Body Plancha.
Naptown showed unparalled focus in this bout and took the fight to their larger foes. The Dragons had their speedy double teams flustering Albright and after an Uppercut that sent him to the floor Lee vaulted over and hit him with a Cross Body Plancha that sent Albright back and he hit his head on the guardrails. Lee rolled back in but Stevens could not help revive his partner in time as the ref counted ten.
3) JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN beat THE BACKSEAT BOYZ @ 6:01 when Credible pinned Trent Acid with the THAT'S INCREDIBLE.
Credible and Sandman continue their improbable run to the money. The Boyz had a quick cover on Sandman with an ACID BOMB that Credible stomped out the save. Sandman recovered with a DDT and then made the tag and Credible hit his own DDT and then the Spinning Tombstone Pilderiver for the victory.
4) THE KINGS OF WRESTLING beat THE JAMES GANG by DISQUALIFICATION @ 18:33 when Kip James slammed Chris Hero into the ringpost and pushed the ref down.
An exciting match that saw the Kings use plenty of their scientific arsenal against the former tag champions. Kip James hit the STANDING LEG DROP on Hero and it looked like the end until stablemate, ADAM PEARCE slid into the ring to distract Kip who went after him but was caught by a Claudio Castagnoli clothesline instead. The match continued into a pier-six brawl until Kip ignored the ref's instructions and caused the DQ.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- HARDCORE RULES- 5) "DIAMOND" DALLAS PAGE beat "HARDCORE ICON"" DANNY DORING with the DIAMOND CUTTER @ 12:43.
Doring started fast and took the match to the crowd. Page tried for his finisher but Doring hit him low. Doring worked on the left arm and used a steel chair to smash away render it ineffective. However, Doring showboated too much and gave DDP the chance to hit his DIAMOND CUTTER out of nowhere to retain his gold.
-SEMI-FINALS- 6) HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) beat NAPTOWN DRAGONS when Romeo Versace pinned Dustin Lee with the BLUE STEEL @ 22:02.
Naptown came close on several of occassions of upsetting the tag team team champions but a fatal miscue had Lee get smashed in the face by a SPINNING LEG LARIAT and a set up for the BLUE STEEL.
7) KINGS OF WRESTLING defeated JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN when Chris Hero pinned Credible with the HERO'S WELCOME @ 12:45.
The Kings continued to move through the tourney with crisp tag moves and innovative double team moves. Hero caught Credible out of SCISSOR KICK from Castagnoli and landed his pet move.
-ACCW TITLE MATCH- 8) BIG WHISKEY beat MR.JERGENSEN (w/THE MERCENARY) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 28:01 when the Mercenary helped land a SPIKE PILEDRIVER on Whiskey.
The title came very close to changing hands but Whiskey used the fan support to dig down deep and landed a few hard elbows and then nailed his DOUBLE SHOT-multiple power bombs. Mercenary grabbed the ref's leg and he fell face first into the mat. The masked man then put the boots to the champion and helped set up a a Spike Piledriver as he mounted the top rope. Jergensen went for the cover but the official saw enough to call for the bell. Jergensen thought that he was proclaimed the winner but was upset to find that he'd come up short again.
-FINALS- 9) HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) beat KINGS OF WRESTLING when Romeo Versace pinned Chris Hero with the SNAPSHOT DDT @ 26:33.
The Kings gave the champions plenty of anxious moments but Eddie Fyne's distractions and their tag team moves were simply too much. They hoisted the Tag Grand Prix Cup much to the dismay of the crowd.

*CHARLIE COX is out to introduce tonight's show. He is very happy and pleased to welcome back Mr. BILL APTER. The fans pop large and Apter says a few words. "I've been in wrestling for too many years to count and once I had a chance to think about it and even though I've been assured that something like that will never happen again (looks at Cox) I will be be back to once again resume THE HOT SEAT. Cox appears uncomfortable but moves on and says that TAG WARS was a huge success and he'd like to bring out the winners of the first annual World tag Grand Prix as well as the ACCW Tag Team champions- The HOUSE OF STYLE. The team is led by EDDIE FYNE and appear almost bored. Fyne grabs the mic. "Was it any surprise that these men walked out with this golden trophy? Elegance is no accident, my friends and Antonio Armani and Romeo Versace have it in spades. But to be honest all three of us are bored. The ennui is suffocating. We demand a challenge and I'm leaving up to you Mr. Cox. You have two weeks to find a team either on the roster or outside of it to face these two men or we may just have to take ourselves elsewhere. Charlie Cox says that he actually already received a request for a title shot from one team and that is the KINGS OF WRESTLING- CHRIS HERO and CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI. (Hero and Claudio appear from the locker room to a mixed crowd reaction.) Hero speaks, You want a challenge then why not us? We got to the Finals against you and even though you did get past us you two pretty boys are not unbeatable. Fyne isn't satisfied. You already got beaten down by these two men and you want more? Have it your way. But after this match Cox I want to have a sit down with you and the whole ACCW board to get my men some real competition or we are finished!
*Next Supercard is announced - August 25, 2009 - "GRIT AND GLORY" in Richmond,VA*
1) "LIGHTNING" MIKE QUACKENBUSH pinned GIANT PAISAN with the SWANTON DIVE @ 5:03.
Quackenbush was way too fast for the large Italian to catch. He used palm strikes and a flying bulldog to soften him up and then a high risk dive to seal the victory.
2) "SCRAP IRON" ADAM PEARCE defeated MYSTERY M with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER @ 4:23.
Pearce negated the superior agility and used brute force on the masked man. After the pinfall, Pearce went for another Pilderiver but it was broken up by M's tag partner, DELIRIOUS.
3) RICKY LANDELL (w/STEVE CORINO) pinned ULTRAMANTIS BLACK (w/HARKER DIRGE) with the FISHERMAN'S BUSTER @ 2:30.
Landell continued his newly aggressive ways and caught Black with a low blow and then used his finisher. After the match, Landell tossed Black to the floor on top of Dirge. Landell then started to go after the official but Corino slid in and tried to hold Landell back. Landell gave a half shove to his partner and said that he wanted more. Corino tried to reason with him and calm him down as they headed to the back.
THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER..............Tonight's Guest: MR.JERGENSEN & THE MERCENARY
Bill Apter says that he is happy to be back and hopes that tonight's interview will go smoothly. Jergensen and Mercenary are out and before Apter can even ask a question the mic is taken from him. "Mr. Apter with all due respect I have a lot to say. First I'd like to repeat that I am the smartest man in professional wrestling. Secondly, I want a re-match for the ACCW Heavyweight title, post haste and I want a positive conclusion. Thirdly, I feel that I continue to be treated as a third class citizen and as I'm sure you can tell from your man years as a broadcast journalist you realize that I could go anywhere in the world to ply my trade but yet I'm stuck in this miserable, do nothing town of Bel Air trying to educate the unwashed masses. And further-- (Jergensen was cut off as DRAKE YOUNGER rushed the broadcast table with a LIGHT TUBE. Jergensen caught this and grabbed Mercenary's arm so that he took the force of the blow in the chest! Jergensen and Younger brawled as Mercenary hit the floor and Apter left the broadcast area. The battle went to the back as EMT's checked Mercenary's condition.)
-ACCW TAG-TEAM TITLE MATCH- 4) THE KINGS OF WRESTLING defeated HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) (c) to capture the tag team titles @ 28:22 when Claudio Castagnoli pinned Romeo Versace after an ALPAMARE WATERSLIDE.
The fans were unsure if they should back Hero and Castagnoli but they slowly got more and more fans on their side as they battled back from three pin attempts. All four men were in the ring resulting in a huge brawl. The ref tried to restore order and led Antonio Armani back to the corner, Chris Hero hit a BIG BBOOT that Castagnoli followed into the Waterslide and made the cover for the three count as Hero held Armani at bay. Eddie Fyne was crying in the center of the ring as his men held their heads in disbelief.

*CHARLIE COX and BILL APTER are out to introduce the show and Apter interrupts just as Cox is ready to speak. "I'm sorry Charlie but I have to say something before we begin. That night when I was attacked by STRETCHER SCHWABELAND was one of the most horrific things that has ever happened to me in all my years of professional wrestling and I there are times when I can't sleep at night. I was paid to be here to lend some credibility to your organization and to say the security here is lax would be a gross understatement. Last week I tried to conduct another interview and ended up with shards of a light tube in my jacket and on my face. I'm BILL APTER and I don't need to be treated this way. So let this be your last warning. I've already spoken to the Board and they have assured me this won't happen again and if it does then they will find new leadership to keep the peace in ACCW."
Cox is stunned and tries to speak, "Bill, look you know that things happen in the world of pro wrestling and-" Apter cuts him off, "Don't you begin to explain what wrestling is about to me! I've forgotten more than you'll ever know and the only reason I'm still here is that I am a professional but if you can't do a better job I'll leave right now."
Cox tries to jump in again,"Look I am in charge but I can't guarantee anything once the the card begins." Apter responds, "Then I guess you take your chances and it looks like you'll need new employment. Now I will do my HOT SEAT segment tonight and it will be up to you if it ends up being my last." Apter storms off.
Cox apologizes to the fans and says that he will do what he can to make the ACCW the best wrestling company ever. He starts to run down tonight's card and is cut off again, this time by EDDIE FYNE.
"What do you want?" bellows Cox. "Well, it seems like everyone wants a piece of you tonight and I'm next in line. Why haven't you signed the re-match for the our tag team titles between the HOUSE OF STYLE and Hero and Castagnoli? It was obvious the officiating was suspect, the lighting was poor, and the fix was in. So where is it?" "I have more important things to worry about right now but the only thing I'll give you is a chance and that's a number one contender's match against JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN. Winners get the title shot. Now get out of here. I'm in no mood."
Fyne tries to protest but Cox spins around and slaps him in the face and knocks him down. Fyne slowly gets up and walks back pointing a finger at Cox as he leaves.
1) "ALL AMERICAN" TOM ACE beat "ANARCHIST" ARIK CANNON (w/ADAM PEARCE) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 6:01.
A good athletic contest early on. Cannon was seconded by his Tag partner ADAM PEARCE for this one in his singles debut. Could he be a Sweet N Sour INC. candidiate? Ace reversed a turnbuckle whip and landed a THESZ PRESS but Pearce grabbed the ref's legs and yanked him out of the ring causing the disqualification. Ace was able to get away from a sneak attack by Cannon and slide out of the ring.
*IN RING - THE MERCENARY and MR.JERGENSEN Mr. Jergensen begins to speak to the crowd but Mercenary stops him and takes the mic. Keep in mind the Mercenary has never spoken in an interview in ACCW before.
"I'll keep this short. I won't forget what you did last week. (Slowly he looks over to Jergensen.) You had me take the hit and as everyone can see I'm still standing but you need to realize that I do love money and just because you pay me a lot of it doesn't make me your stooge. (Jergensen tries to talk) Don't say anything because it will just be a lie. Over the years I've worked for plenty of scumbags as long as the price was right. But, I'm you don't play me again. As for Drake Younger. Your time is up!
2) THE MERCENARY (w/MR.JERGENSEN) pinned "PSYCHO SHOOTER" DRAKE YOUNGER with the HIRED GUN @ 5:45.
The brawl started quickly and both were in and out of the ring. Mercenary's size was a great advantage and he slammed Younger's head on the steps and then tossed him back in and nailed the COBRA CLUTCH SLAM to get the win. Mercenary continued his attack but when Mr.Jergensen tried to join in the masked man pushed him back and waved his finger. Mercenary then applied a STRAIGHT JACKET CHOKE as he talked trash to Younger and put him out. Younger was out cold as EMT's tended to him as Mercenary and Jergensen left.
-SIX MAN TAG TEAM ELIMINATION- 3) MYSTERY M, DELIRIOUS, & "KILLER HIT" KIRK GRUNGE beat THE ORDER OF THE NEO-SOLAR TEMPLE @ 17:02.
Eliminations: - MYSTERY M pinned ULTRAMANTIS BLACK with a DROPSAULT @ 6:23
- MALACHI pinned KIRK GRUNGE with a TWO HANDED CHOKE BOMB @ 12:22
- "BLOODY"HARKER DIRGE beat MYSTERY M with the DIRT NAP @ 14:01
- DELIRIOUS pinned "BLOODY" HARKER DIRGE with the SHADOWS OVER HELL @ 16:51
- DELIRIOUS beat MALACHI @ 17:02 with the COBRA STRETCH
A thrilling match that saw an inspiring performance from DELIRIOUS as he fought off a 2 on 1 disadvantage to gain the win.
*THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER .... His Guests - STEVE CORINO and RICKY LANDELL
Apter," So gentlemen I have a ton of questions for you. First off you have noth wrestled in singles and tag action. What are your immediate goals?
Corino," Well Bill we will do whatever we can to be successful and whatever title chance comes our way we will gladly take that gold too."
Apter," Now Ricky I need to comment on your recent change in aggressiveness in the ring. What do you have to say about that?"
Corino cuts him off, "Let me take that one Bill. Young Ricky is finally listening to me. Sometimes you have to do whatever you can to get a win and he seems to be doing that."
Apter," Well that seems true. Does that mean you are going after the tag team titles?"
Corino pipes up again as Landell rolls his eyes and gets agitated. "Let me take this one Bill. We would love another shot at the tag champs, whomever they are and we will give them the fight of their life."
Apter," Ok so that should do it here as-"
Ricky Landell explodes and pushes Apter back and takes the mic. "Just shut the hell up both of you! Many months ago in my first match here in ACCW I was attacked and I was out on the shelf and when I got back I used all that rage and frustration and I channeled it and I got my revenge but after that I wasn't angry anymore. I won some. I lost some and I wasn't happy. Steve Corino my mentor sometimes has some good ideas but he doesn't know when to shut up sometimes. He kept telling me that I needed to unleash the beast and that if I did that I could be unstoppable. And you now what - I liked it. I liked being the guy who's beating people up instead of the one on the other end of the attack and even though I struggled with it at first. I am full bore into becoming an ass-kicking machine. Now Steve as for you, your days of talking for men are done. You want to be tag champs? How's that going to happen when you get pinned in the center of the ring? It wasn't my shoulders that were on the mat at World Tag Grand Prix, it was yours. You've done a lot for me in getting me into this business but frankly its time for me to fly."
Steve Corino tries to grab his shoulder and Landell slaps the taste out of his mouth as he walks off the set. Corino chases after him as they head to break.
-ACCW Tag Team Contenders Match- 4) JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN beat THE HOUSE OF STYLE (w/EDDIE FYNE) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 13:03 when Fyne was caught trying to slip and illegal object to Antonio Armani.
Credible and Sandman are finding their groove as a team and Fyne was visably nervous. Sandman hit a HARDCORE DDT and Romeo Versace was in trouble. Fyne grabbed the official and tossed brass knuckles over his shoulder. The ref saw the infraction and rang the bell. The other problem was that Sandman intercepted them and blasted both runway models in the face.

*CHARLIE COX is out by himself to introduce the show. He says that BILL APTER will simply do the segment he was contracted to do and that is all. Cox appears a bit stressed but says that he has news of a major signing that will be headed to ACCW in just one week. He doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag yet but he trusts that fans won't be disappointed. All three titles will be on the line tonight so let's get to the action!
1) TYLER BLACK pinned THE GREY MASK @ 1:23 with the PHOENIX SPLASH.
Black was making his ACCW debut here and was quite impressive. He was very focused on his way to the ring and seems interested in simply climbing the ladder of contention any way he can.
2) MALACHI (w/ULTRAMANTIS BLACK) pinned "PSYCHO SHOOTER" DRAKE YOUNGER with THE PROPHECY @ 4:55.
Younger was quickly on the offensive and was desperate for a win this week. Malachi was able to kick out at two after Youger tried to put him away with the DRAKE'S LANDING. A miscue and Malachi landed a stiff kick to the chest and then hit the Leaping Reverse STO to knock the shooter senseless.
* IN RING - STEVE CORINO
Corino steps into the ring and calls RICKY LANDELL to the ring. "I know that last week was a bit of a wakeup call for me. I haven't heard from you all week. I just want to clear the air."
Landell appears reluctant to talk but is out at ringside. After some coaxing he steps through the ropes. "Now Ricky I know how hard it was for you to slap me on television. I've been your mentor for years. I got you into this business and for you to do what you did must mean that there is a huge problem. If you feel that we need to part ways that's fine no hard feelings. Every bird has to fly solo and see what he's made of eventually. I just want you to know that I'm sorry. I've only ever had your best interests at heart."
Landell thinks about it shakes his head and asks for the mic. "Steve. I've appreciated what you've done for me. But you have to understand that its hard sometimes for me to live up to your expectations and maybe it would be better for me to go it alone. I've tried to listen to you and you've never steered me wrong before. You told me to unleash the beast. To be aggressive and to never let up on my opponent. I took that to heart. So much so that I now that I'm better for it and I think my next goal shouldn't be the tag team belts but rather the heavyweight title. I want that shot. But I want to leave you the right way and I probably acted too rash last week. So I'm sorry and I hope that we can leave on good terms."
Corino shakes his head and then the two shake. Corino holds on a little too long and rolls him into a LARIAT that flips Landell over. Corino then proceeds to hit two OLD SCHOOL EXPULSIONS that leaves Landell motionless.
"I'm sorry too Ricky. I'm sorry that I worked so hard and so long trying to mold you into a winner. But you have to have it inside and right now you don't have it. So I intend to beat it out of you."
Corino grabs a leather belt and begins whipping Landell across his back. ACCW officials come down to break things up as Corino leaves Landell's back a welted mess.
-ACCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH- 3) THE MERCENARY pinned "DIAMOND" DALLAS PAGE with the HIRED GUN @ 18:28 to capture the ACCW Television title.
A tremendous back and forth match up between the two with many close calls. Late in the match DDP hit the DIAMOND CUTTER but in the process the official was knocked to the floor. A count would have been made but MR.JERGENSEN snuck down to the ring and attacked Page. He tossed medicated powder in his eyes and gave time for the big man to stagger to his feet he hit the COBRA CLUTCH SLAM and the ref pounded out a slow three count for the title change. It didn't end there as Jergensen orchestrated a payback on DDP for beating him months ago for the same title. Jergensen stomped on Page's left ankle and the huge masked man went to the top rope and leapt off with a flying knee to the exposed area. Page writhed in pain as officials came in to help the former champion.
*Dallas Page is out 6 cards
THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER...... EDDIE FYNE and HOUSE OF STYLE
Apter begins the interview asking about the rough fortunes that his team has gone through lately. Fyne instead wants to talk about Charlie Cox. "You aren't too fond of him Apter admit it." Apter tries to stick to the interview but is tempted to speak. "You don't have to worry. I have a score to settle with him too. Maybe we can help each other?" Apter pauses then shakes the thought from his mind
"I'm a professional. Do you expect for team to regain the belts?" Fyne says he isn't worried and that he always has a plan and maybe Apter should hear one of his. Fyne tucks a business card in Apter's pocket before he leaves.
-ACCW Tag Team Title Match- 4) THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (c) beat JUSTIN CREDIBLE & THE SANDMAN by DISQUALIFICATION when the House of Style attacked the champions @ 11:32.

*CHARLIE COX is out first and looks excited and happy for the first time in months. He's ready to make the big announcement of the latest acquisition to Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling. Just as he's about to talk he is interrupted by EDDIE FYNE who is accompanied by DANNY DORING.
"Well Mr. Cox you seem in a good mood. I'm anxious to see what the big secret is and what great superstar you've signed to grace us with their presence."
"Fyne, Get the hell out of here. I won't let you spoil this moment."
"I'll say this Cox. The Hardcore Icon, Mr. Danny Doring would be happy to accept the challenge of whatever low life you've been able to sign here and he'll send back to the gutter where you found him."
"Oh Really. You seem confident. Would you care to make this interesting?"
"Of course. What would we want? How about if Mr. Doring wins he gets an automatic title shot at the heavyweight belt when we choose."
"And if my man wins, you Mr. Fyne will become my personal assistant for one full day."
"No problem now please we're all getting bored here who is Danny Doring going to pulverize into a fine powder?"
"The One of a Kind Superstar. ROB.....VAN......DAM!!!!!"
The building erupts but after a few moments Van Dam is not out. Cox seems puzzled and announces his name again. Nothing. Fyne smiles.
"Just remember that a verbal contract is legal and you have until the end of the program I believe. Maybe you could make another announcement that the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus will challenge for the tag team titles."
Cox scrambles off camera into the locker room.
1) THE JUSTICE LEAGUE beat "ANARCHIST" ARIK CANNON & "SCRAP IRON" ADAM PEARCE (w/ LARRY SWEENEY) when Mike Quackenbush pinned Pearce after a Knoggin Knocker with Sweeney and then a SWANTON DIVE @ 15:28.
LARRY SWEENEY announced his return from injury in his normal obnoxious tone. He introduced newest acquisition ARIK CANNON as an official member of SWEET N SOUR INC and also reminded the fans that he also manages the ACCW Tag Team champions THE KINGS OF WRESTLING. He also says that he has special plans for BIG WHISKEY. After all the announcement a wild tag team match ensued with multiple pin attempts and several high risk moves. The league rallied and Quackenbush used a wicked PLANCHA to gain control. Sweeney's attempts to interfere only made things worse as Ace grabbed his head and flung it into Pearce's. Quackenbush came off the top and gained a needed win for the team.
2) "KILLER HIT" KIRK GRUNGE defeated ULTRAMANTIS BLACK by DISQUALIFICATION @ 5:03 when HARKER DIRGE & MALACHI hit the ring during the pin attempt and beat Grunge badly.
This match was a no contest as Grunge seemed fueled by tremendous rage. He was all over the masked man and used a GRUNGE GOURD BUSTER to almost finish him off. Almost because HARKER DIRGE flew over the ropes and landed a hard elbow and his back. MALACHI then chucked the ref over the ropes. The three began to stomp away until MYSTERY M came to the ring and he was slammed with a chair and DELIRIOUS came in the scene as well and he was tossed into the crowd. The Neo-Solar Temple then set up Grunge for a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB that went wrong and Grunge was dumped on his neck. Officials broke up the scene as Mantis left cackling. Grunge was hurt.
*KIRK GRUNGE is out 3 cards
*CHARLIE COX reappeared and said that he just saw what happened and he's imposing some justice. The entire NEO-SOLAR TEMPLE is suspended for 3 cards. I've seen enough and had enough. That means you won't participate in this weekend's set of cards slated up and down the beach front either.Cox is fumbling for his cell phone trying to find ROB VAN DAM.
3) JUSTIN CREDIBLE beat TYLER BLACK by DISQUALIFICATION @ 6:01 when he whipped Credible into the ringsteps and pushed aside the official.
Black started very quickly but Credible fought back and had him in trouble. The match went to the outside and Black showed a mean streak. He refused to let up and the ref called for the bell. THE SANDMAN rushed out Cane in hand to chase Black off.
HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER w/ THE KINGS OF WRESTLING (w/ LARRY SWEENEY)
Bill Apter congratulates the tag team champions and says that he didn't think they could do it without ignoring the rules. Hero gets ready to speak but is cut off by Sweeney. He says he taught them everything they know and he was there in spirit as they ripped through the tag tournament and then discovered the fatal flaw to beat the HOUSE OF STYLE.
Apter continued and asked Castagnoli if they planned on being fighting champions. Sweeney interrupts again and says they will fight who deserves a match. He also mentions that some people need a beating and at the top of that list is Big Whiskey.
Apter thanks the champions again and says it would have been nice to talk to them. Hero is cordial and tells Sweeney to calm down and says they need a private talk about a few things. Sweeney is excited and rushes ahead while Castagnoli and Hero look at each other and roll their eyes.
-SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH- 4) ROB VAN DAM pinned "HARDCORE ICON" DANNY DORING (w/EDDIE FYNE) with the FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH @ 6:33.
Doring and Fyne waiting in ring laughing that no one was here. Fyne ordered the ref to count down to ten. Cox ran down the aisle and told Fyne that he wouldn't stop the count and he abide by the official's ruling. As the ref got to eight, VAN DAM hurdled over the guard rail and slid into the ring and hit Fyne with a spin kick. The match was almost all Van Dam and even Fyne who tried to jump on the apron was grabbed by both legs by Charlie Cox as Van Dam flew off the top rope to hit the FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH to seal the win. Mid-ring Cox shook hands with Van Dam as the camera faded.
