*CHARLIE COX is out and he is followed by a reluctant EDDIE FYNE who holds a clipboard. Every so often in between speaking Cox points out a piece of gum that needs picked up or that he needs a drink of water, in which Fyne slowly complies. Cox says that we have an exciting show lined up tonight as well as two great cards on the 20th and 21st as they continue their tour of the lovely beaches along the Atlantic Coast. But before we begin the show I want to bring out the newest member of the ACCW - ROB VAN DAM!
(Van Dam walks out to Pantera's "Walk" blaring over the P.A. Van Dam shakes Cox's hand and then fakes out Fyne and points to himself.)
"Welcome Mr. Van Dam and I know that all our fans here are incredibly excited to watch you perform in ACCW."
"Thanks Charlie is certainly is the pleasure of anyone who buys a ticket to watch me work. I've been unappreciated in too many places to count in my career. But I will say that I will challenge anyone and I do mean anyone to a match."
"Understood. But I do have one question though and its not a huge deal but why were you late last week?"
"Well the guys you sent to pick me up from the airport got lost. In fact they had no real idea where they were going. It wasn't until I started asking some questions that I realized that someone didn't want me there." (Van Dam looks at Fyne)
"What a boldfaced lie. You have no proof." Fyne said.
(Van Dam grabs ANTONIO ARMANI's ring jacket from under his arm and throws it into Fyne's face. Charlie Cox has a puzzled look on his face.)
Cox continues, "That hardly surprises me and just so you know Mr. Fyne we have a few bathrooms that need scrubbing so your chores list for tonight just got longer. But how did you know that Rob Van Dam was coming to ACCW. I was very careful to make sure that no one else knew except a select few people."
(Fyne snickered.)
"You need to realize that there are a lot of people that don't really like you Cox, most of all me. You need to watch who you trust around here."
(Cox pushes Fyne towards the back and introduces Van Dam's opponent for the opening match, ANTONIO ARMANI.)
1) "HOT PROPERTY" ANTONIO ARMANI (w/ROMEO VERSACE) beat ROB VAN DAM by COUNTOUT @ 6:27.
Van Dam started in control quickly but soon became a two on one with Versace tripping him at the ropes. Armani ducked under a spin kick and tossed Van Dam to the outside. DANNY DORING then made his way to the ring and distracted the official while Armani and Versace hit BLUE STEEL on the concrete! Armani rolled back in and Doring let go of the ref as he counted ten. All three hugged in the ring and laughed at their success until Van Dam staggered to his feet and was soon joined by JUSTIN CREDIBLE and THE SANDMAN who charged the ring. The heels scattered quickly.
-Tag Team Contenders Match-
2) MASKED CONFUSION (DELIRIOUS & MYSTERY M) beat THE NAPTOWN DRAGONS when M pinned SCOTTY VORTEKZ with a REVERSE HURRACANRANA @ 19:01.
This was the most exciting tag team match of the year to date. The end finally saw M and Delirious hit a double-elevated Neckbreaker for a close two count and then the Mystery Man whipped Vortekz off the ropes to wrap up a Rana with cradle combo and he could not escape.
THE HOT SEAT w/ BILL APTER ....... TYLER BLACK
Bill Apter welcomes Tyler Black to the ACCW and says that he has seen his skills in both the martial arts and flying above the ring and he is impressed. But what is his ultimate goal in ACCW?
Black stares forward and mentions that he is a part of a wrestling revolution. In fact he's God's gift to wrestling and he is going to save the wrestling fans from themselves. Just give me time and I'll prove it over and over again in that ring. JUSTIN CREDIBLE got a good taste last week and he seems like a guy that has a hard head and I'll simply have to prove it to him that he should just move on to the next match.
Apter wraps up the interview and quickly walks off as Charlie Cox is walking towards him. Apter is gone by the time Cox is on set.
3) "KING OF OLD SCHOOL" STEVE CORINO beat RICKY LANDELL with the OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION @ 2:55.
Corino waited off to the side and attacked Landell as he was introduced and ran towards the ring. The two fought outside and Corino slammed him into the ringsteps and then rolled him back inside and hit the EXPULSION for the quick win. Corino took the mic and said that "TOUGH LOVE" was over and he hoped that Landell had learned his lesson. He stuck out his hand. Landell reached for it but Corino pulled it away. "You still have a lot to learn!" Corino hit another EXPULSION and slid out of the ring.
-ACCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH-
4) BIG WHISKEY (c) beat "SCRAP IRON" ADAM PEARCE (w/LARRY SWEENEY) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 9:52 when Sweeney and ARIK CANNON attacked Whiskey as Pearce held him down.
A strange match that was perhaps a set-up all along to try and take Whiskey out. Big Whiskey, all 288 pounds of him flew off the top rope with a CROSSBODY and Pearce held on to him as the ref counted while he attempted a pin. That was just so LARRY SWEENEY and ARIK CANNON could jump him. They kicked away until JUSTIN CREDIBLE, THE SANDMAN and ROB VAN DAM hit the scene and punched their way out of trouble.
