Well I just got around to starting a color legends fed on a snowy afternoon here in the northeast. I was really against the idea of color legends cards at first but have to admit that I really do like them not just for the appearance of the cards and updated stats but for the chance to start off fresh. Over the years I've accumulated so many official and bootleg sets it became overwhelming and I think it affected my desire to play. I would constantly switch back and forth trying to run both LOW and GWF it got to be too much so I'm glad for the chance to start over with just two sets to worry to about. Here are the results for my first show to crown my LWF champion. I'm just calling this fed Wide World Of Wrestling( a name I've used before and inspired by the old Wide World Of Sports on ABC) with shows held anywhere in the world at any arena past or present

Duggan wins your first rumble just like he did the WWE's first rumble

Duggan had a great night, defeated Ted DiBiase to get a spot in the rumble and then wins it by eliminating Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, and Road Warrior Animal.

Duggan with the surprising victory in the RR! Is his first title defense against one of the final 3 or 4 guys in the RR? It would be a tough defense to face Thesz or Brazil off the bat, but, this may be the beginning of a Cinderella run with the title.

I honestly didn’t remember Duggan winning the first Rumble until you mentioned it. I’m glad to see they updated Duggan’s flying spear finisher to plus two. I always had a problem with his original card having only a plus one

The show opens with highlights from last week's royal rumble followed by the introduction of the inaugural LWF Champion Hacksaw Jim Duggan ! Duggan charges out to the arena waving the American flag and exchanging high fives with the fans when the celebration is quickly brought to a halt by the introduction of the commissioner of Monday Night's Main Event Vince McMahon !. McMahon congratulates Duggan on winning the Royal Rumble and the LWF title and also Informs him that it's not going to be easy holding on to the title. McMahon tells Duggan he's got a lot to prove starting night with his first title defense against the man he eliminated to win the Royal Rumble and capture the LWF title Road Warrior Animal !


Jerry The King Lawler and J.R announce the next LWF Pay Per view is Money In The Bank taking place in a few weeks and head down to the ring for the first MITB qualifying match

MITB Qualifying Match #1
Jimmy Snuka def Mr. Perfect by DQ *1/2

Snuka gets some payback for being eliminated in a royal rumble qualifying match after Henning body slammed him through the announce table avoiding the DQ and going on to get the win over the injured Snuka with a HENNIG PLEX. In tonight's match Hennig drew the disqualification for attacking Snuka with a chair outside the ring.

Gorgeous George with Sherri Dupree def Marion Fontaine( OLDE Time Wrestling) with a small package with tights **

The Handlebar Habidasher gave George a thorough thrashing and was about to wrap things up following a PUGILIST'S HOOK when George's valet Sherri Dupree caused a distraction on the ring apron allowing George enough time to recover, attack Fontaine from behind and roll him up with small package while grabbing a handful of tights

Bobo Brazil vs Harley Race - time limit draw ****
a tough back and forth battle ending in a draw after 30 minutes and five pin attempts from both men

Macho Man Randy Savage def Nature Boy Buddy Rogers with a FLYING ELBOW SMASH **1/2

Randy Savage advance to the MITB main event match at the MITB PPV along with Jimmy Snuka

The show opens with VKM watching highlights from last week's Monday Night's Main event becoming angry with the fact that Hacksaw Duggan managed to retained the LWF title. VKM quickly grabs his cell phone making a call to an unidentified person simply stating " Be here tonight you're on against Duggan in the main event"

Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross speculate who the mystery opponent could be as they run down tonight's action that include a MITB qualifying match and a debut of a new tag team

The Throwbacks score a huge victory in their LWF debut defeating the Legion Of Doom with a Grandslam Dunk on Hawk **1/2

On last week's main event Marion Fontaine (Olde Time Wrestling) squared off against Gorgeous George who got victory using dirty tactics. Tonight Fontaine returned to call out George challenging him to a rematch at the next big Olde Time Wrestling event The Speakeasy Spectacular. George accepts the challenge and agrees to face Fontaine in a specialty match of Fontaine's choosing.

Lou Thez defeats Bobo Brazil with a GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP in solid back and match ***

LWF Title Match

Duggan arrives in the ring waiting patiently for his mystery opponent who turns out to be non other than The Iron Shiek accompanied to ringside of course by Nickolai Volkoff. The Iron Sheik attacks Duggan before the opening bell and the match is on. Duggan dominates the action until he's tossed outside the ring and double teamed by The Shiek and Volkoff. The Iron Sheik tosses Duggan back in the ring and lands a pair of loaded boots to the skull busting him wide open. Just when things couldn't look much worse for Duggan be blocks a kick to the stomach coming back with a spinning bodyslam and FLYING SPEAR for the win. After the match VKM appears near the entrance ramp exchanging looks with The Sheik and Volkoff who attack Duggan after the bell until. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson make a surprise appearance running in the ring to stop the attack
