Westerns are one of my all time favorite genres and this limited series on Netflix is outstanding with a wild performance by Jeff Daniels whose truly one bad dude in this one. Scoot McNairy, Sam Waterston to Michelle Dockery all perform well in this one and I suggest watching all 7 episodes...

Definitely gonna check this out... Love westerns and unfortunately, there is not much to choose from in this genre... Was not a fan of 'Hell On Wheels' at all... But, the first season of 'The Son' was decent.

About halfway through. Liking it so far. Jeff Daniels is great. Merritt Weaver is also pretty good in this.

I wasn't sure till I Googled Weaver who I knew was from somewhere and I really like her character, the whole series is top stuff. Duane Howard who was in a great mini-series Into the West and The Revenant has a small but fun role in this series, I also love a great shoot out scene and the final episode has a great one in my opinion...

Holy hell, that gunfight in La Belle in episode 7. Brutal. One of the best western gunfights ever shot in my opinion. Great series.
One thing I love about westerns is a slow pace and Godless certainly had that and it was much appreciated. Loved the end of episode five or six where the last 10 minutes had no dialogue whatsoever. Anyway, great series. Will be watching it again at some point.

I agree on gunfight and the slow build in Westerns being great, that gunfight is one of my all time favorites right up there with the on in Open Range...
