The movie was awful. Never been more disappointed in a film my entire life. Rian Johnson is the anti-Christ. Too bad. But unsurprising. After all, it is Disney. Everything I feared The Force Awakens would be and wasn’t, The Last Jedi was. Weak plot, horrible dialogue, too many unanswered questions, and one very AWFUL performance from one of the stars. Might take me years to get over this...

What didn't people like about the movie? Won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet, but once the coast is clear, I will be more than happy to rant and rave

If I had to sum it up in a single word..... Boring!
Kept checking the time, wanting it to be over.

Oh, how patiently I've waited for this movie...
Saw it last night, and all I've got to say is:
LOVE IT!!! All-time top 30 for me, at least! Nothing I didn't like about it, wow! Great CGI, loved how it wasn't predictable like The Force Awakens, and I can't wait for the next installment! Whoo-hoo!
I hope this is on DVD / Blu-ray by the next Star Wars Day (May the 4th, obviously) !
EDIT: And before anyone says I love anything Star Wars: I did not like Rogue 1 (or the first 2 prequels). TV's Hannibal Lecter and the young "Master Po" from Kung Fu took me right out of the movie.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it and I am very picky about Star Wars movies. I was in the line for the first one with my mom and brother back in the 70's, a line that stretched around the building, so of course the series is my all-time favorite with plenty of nice memories. Was it perfect? No but I felt good coming out of the theater. I can't wait for some time to pass I need to hear your take lucifer especially about the awful performance. Maybe your take will change my mind on the way I feel about the film. It's interesting to see how some loved it and others loathed it but this series of films does have a hardcore fan base so not everyone is going to feel the same about things.

Its amazing how polarizing this movie is. I enjoyed it personally. Maybe not as much as Force Awakens, but a hell of alot more than the first 2 prequels. I'll see it again and give a more honest opinion about how it stacks up.
I was very pleased when I knew Disney was getting the franchise, as they have done a fantastic job with the Marvel Universe and their major animated films are generally always great. Really looking forward to see what else is coming and how it all integrates into Disney World as well.

Personally I enjoyed it, though I liked TFA a little more. I understand why a number of people hate it, but I don't have a problem with those areas. I had a couple of little complaints but overall, I enjoyed the movie and look forward to seeing it again.

I saw Last Jedi yesterday and have to say I'm 50/50 on it. I was 50/50 on TFA and still am today, even after watching it again last week. I enjoyed parts of Last Jedi but others really bored me, especially the scenes that had Kylo Ren in them. In my opinion, I think the role of Kylo Ren has been mis-cast as I can't buy Adam Driver in that role especially after LJ. I'm probably in the minority but I think Rogue 1 has been the best of the past 3 movies.

Saw it this morning and enjoyed it a lot. Biggest moment for me was the surprise retuning character who returned in his original form. Marked out big time. Also loved the behind the scenes story on the Porgs. Marvel has overshadowed my love for Star Wars (thanks prequels and special editions) but this was an enjoyable couple hours in the theatre.
