---Over the Christmas/New Year's break 3 years ago, I did a LOW Champions' Carnival that saw Nick Bockwinkel def. Steve Williams in the final to take home the Champions' Carnival Trophy. This year I am going to do a combined LOW/GWF Champions' Carnival under the Kronos banner. There will be 10 wrestlers per block with both blocks split evenly between LOW/GWF. As last time, Round 9 will be the 'Rivalry Round' with Round 10 being the 'Championship Round' where the two Block winners will meet and the rest of the card will be based on where the other wrestlers finish in the standings. Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round #1 ....All 20 competitors were introduced before the event as the majority of the Earth stars got huge pops for their introductions. The biggest pop of the night went to Star Warrior and the biggest jeers went to Aethran OverMaster, Buddy Rogers, and Thantos....---We start with Block A as Nick Bockwinkel went toe-to-toe with Ed 'Strangler' Lewis. Bockwinkel scores the first win of the tournament as he puts Lewis to sleep w/ the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. Final token tally: Bockwinkel 2; Lewis 5 --- Mensar (PP2017) def. George Hackenschmidt w/ STAR DESTROYER in an even match-up. Mensar kept hitting Wrecking Machine to keep the pressure on Hackenschmidt before hitting his finisher to end the match. The final token tally does not tell the entire story of the match however. Mensar 0; Hackenschmidt 5 ---In what might be a shocker, Thantos (2087) def. Aethran OverMaster (2125) w/ the MASTERLOCK. AOM was never able to get anything going and Thantos took full advantage. Final token tally: Thantos 0; AOM 1 ---In another possible shocker, Frank Gotch scored a win over Chaos Supreme (2130), winning w/ his second GOTCH TOEHOLD of the match. This one was over in under 4-minutes as Gotch ducked Running of the Bull and locked in his finisher. Chaos was able to escape but got caught w/ the GOTCH TOEHOLD for the second time to end the match. Final token tally: Gotch 0; Chaos 2 ---The final match of Block A featured Star Warrior (2090) vs Buddy Rogers as the fans were massively behind the hero in this one. However, it was Rogers who would lock win the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE to secure the victory. Whenever Star Warrior would get any kind of momentum, Rogers would roll to the floor to gather himself. Rogers would capitalize on a missed turnbuckle charge that saw Warrior miss a Running Knee into the corner. Rogers was quick to lock in his finisher to pick up the win. Afterwards, Rogers strutted gleefully to the dismay of the crowd. Final token tally: Rogers 0; Star Warrior 0 ----We start Block B as Endgame (2125) faces Encubus (2120) as the 'son of Thantos' scores the win w/ SECOND COMING. The story of the match was Encubus' triple finishers as he kept hitting them in succession. Final token tally: Encubus 0; Endgame 8 --- Freddie Blassie scores a win over Bobo Brazil, winning w/ the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER. It was an even match until Bobo went to the top and Freddie hit a ring shaking Superplex. Freddie opens Bobo up after he kept biting at his challenger's forehead. Blassie keeps Bobo down after hitting his finisher. Final token tally: Blassie 0; Brazil 2 --- Monolith (2126) def. Harley Race w/ CATASTROPHE as Monolith simply overpowers Harley. Harley hung tough but the outcome was never in doubt as he took a beating. Final token tally: Monolith 1; Race 4 ---In a great bout, Lou Thesz was able to outlast Harbringer (2127) after Lou was finally able to put his opponent away w/ the THESZ PRESS. These two rocked each other from the start and didn't let up until the finish. Thesz was just able to hit one of his finishers before Harbringer could hit his. Final token tally: Thesz 4; Harbringer 6 ---The final match of the first night of Block B and the match I am highly anticipating saw Randy Savage battle Wolf (2087). The match was awesome as Wolf was able to get the win after looking in his fourth SAVAGE FACE CLAW of the match. Savage gave as good as got though as he dropped the FYING ELBOW DROP on Wolf twice during the match. However, Wolf was able to weather the storm to pick up the win. Final Token Tally: Wolf 3; Savage 4 Block A LOW vs GWF: 2-1 Block B LOW vs GWF: 1-2 Round 2 Matches

Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round #2 ---We start with Block B in Round #2 as Harley Race vs Endgame kicks things off. An excellent match to start the show as Harley survives a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Harley fights back to hit his PILEDRIVER finisher three times during the match. A Falling Headbutt seals the deal for Harley as Endgame goes 0-2. Harley 2; Endgame 4. --- Randy Savage scores a controversial win over Bobo Brazil after nailing Bobo w/ a low-blow and then hitting the FLYING ELBOW DROP to get the win. Savage 1; Brazil 4. ---The Monolith vs Wolf feud has raged on over the last 10 GWF years and they meet here in the KCC. The match lived up its hype as Wolf kept rebounding after taking a beating. Monolith would escape the SAVAGE FACE CLAW to hit CATASTROPHE for the win. Monolith 4; Wolf 5. ---Two icons squared off as Freddie Blassie battled Lou These in the next match. Lou scores the win over Freddie via DISQUALIFICATION as Freddie was caught blasting Thesz with a cheap shot from a pair of brass knux. An irate Thesz chased Blassie around ringside before security could separate them. Thesz 2; Blassie 2. ---In the final match of Block B, Encubus def. Harbringer w/ the GAMESMASTER DDT in a great match. Once again, Encubus' triple finishers came into play as he quickly wore Harbringer out. Harbringer fights back with several Black Death Cometh put could not hit his finisher. The GM DDT finishes things as Encubus goes 2-0 in the KCC so far. Encubus 5; Harbringer 8. --- Block A starts with a huge 'big man' match as Aethran OverMaster faces Mensar. AOM scores a huge win over Mensar, hitting a ring shaking Shattering SuperPlex to garner the pinball. AOM 3; Mensar 2. --- Frank Gotch def. Nick Bockwinkel as Frank survives Bock's FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. Frank rebounds, winning w/ the GOTCH TOEHOLD (snake eyes). Gotch 2; Bockwinkel 0. --- Ed 'Strangler' Lewis def. Thantos, winning w/ the STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK in dominating fashion. Lewis 0; Thantos 4. --- Buddy Rogers survived an onslaught from Chaos Supreme, winning w/ the FIGURE-FOUR GRAPEVINE. Rogers survived four BOWS OF DEFEAT during the match. Rogers 4; Chaos 2 ---In the final match of Block A, George Hackenschmidt def. Star Warrior w/ the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG (snake eyes). Star Warrior careened into the turnbuckle to set up finish. Hackenschmidt 1; Star Warrior 2. Block A LOW vs GWF: 3-0 (5-1) Block B LOW vs GWF: 1-0 (2-2) Round #3 Matches

Chaos Supreme (4) w/ a Keylock Armbar. --- Frank Gotch (5) battles Ed 'Strangler' Lewis (6) to a 70-minute TIME LIMIT DRAW. They went two extra 5-min time periods still with no winner. Easily a ***** match and early match of the tourney so far. --- Buddy Rogers (2) over Nick Bockwinkel (5) w/ the FIGURE-FOUR GRAPEVINE. --- Star Warrior (3) def. Aethran OverMaster (2) w/ the COSMIC BIG BANG (+6). Block B --- Harbringer (0) def. Harley Race (7) w/ Black Death Cometh. --- Wolf (7) def. Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round #4 ---We start with Block B for Round #4 as Harley Race takes a win over Freddie Blassie w/ the PILEDRIVER. Freddie goes flying over the top rope to the floor as Harley ducks a rope charge. Back in the ring, Harley drops the woozy Blassie w/ his finisher. ---In a great matchup, Endgame def. Harbringer w/ three consecutive ROLLING FIGURE FOURs. Amazingly, this is Endgame's first points of the tournament. --- Monolith continues his tourney unbeaten run as he takes a win over Bobo Brazil w/ I BREAK YOU. Bobo put up a fight but the Andromedan behemoth was too much in the end. --- Wolf scores a huge win over Lou Thesz, winning w/ the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. ---In the night's final Block B match, Randy Savage is on fire as he takes a dominating win over Encubus, winning w/ the FLYING ELBOW DROP. ---In Block A's opening match, Nick Bockwinkel takes the win over George Hackenschmidt w/ the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. --- Star Warrior earns a DISQUALIFICATION win over Mensar as the frustrated Mensian decks the referee after SW kicks out of the 4th STAR DESTROYER of the match. --- Buddy Rogers continues his undefeated run with a win over Ed 'Strangler'Lewis, winning w/ the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. --- Frank Gotch stays on the pace w/ Rogers as he takes a win over Thantos w/ a Grinding Hammerlock that saw Thantos get pinned while trying to get out of the hold. ---In Block A's final match of the night, Chaos Supreme def. Aethran OverMaster w/ his 6th BOW OF DEFEAT of the match. Chaos gets his first points of the tournament and matches AOM in the process. It's been a very disappointing tourney for both wrestlers. Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round 5 --- Block A get us started tonight as Aethran OverMaster hits Nick Biockwinkel with a huge REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+6) for the win. --- George Hackenschmidt wears Ed 'Strangler' Lewis down with repeated RUSSIAN BEARHUGs before picking Lewis up for a Single Leg Pickup & Slam to get the pinball. --- Chaos Supreme def. Mensar in a quick match, winning w/ BOW OF DEFEAT (snake eyes). ---Two old foes square off as Thantos takes a win over Star Warrior w/ the MASTERLOCK. ---In the final Block A match of the night, Buddy Rogers locks in the FIGURE-FOUR GRAPEVINE and forces Frank Gotch to submit in a great match. --- Randy Savage vs Harley Race gets us started in Block B as Savage drops the FLYING ELBOW DROP on Harley to get the win . --- Bobo Brazil scores his first win of the tourney, beating Lou Thesz w/ the COCO BUTT. --- Endgame def.
