Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round #6

---A great match starts off the show for Block B as Harley Race puts Wolf down w/ his 4th PILEDRIVER of the match. Harley fights out of three SAVAGE FACE CLAWs during the match and fights back to take the win. Huge blow to Wolf's chances of winning the bracket.



---Encubus takes the win over Bobo Brazil, winning w/ SECOND COMING.



---Harbringer domiates Freddie Blassie, winning w/ a Skull Slayer in under 5-minutes.



---Randy Savage scores a huge win over Endgame w/ the FLYING ELBOW DROP in a excellent bout.



---The bracket matchup that everyone has been waiting for sees Lou Thesz def. Monolith w/ the THESZ PRESS after Monolith misses CATASTROPHE. This win gives Lou an outside shot of winning the bracket.




---Frank Gotch vs George Hackenschmidt opens Block A in a great bout. Gotch slaps on the GOTCH TOEHOLD to secure the win at the 37-min mark.



---Mensar takes a quick win over Nick Bockwinkel, winning w/ STAR DESTROYER.



---Aethran OverMaster survives Ed 'Strangler' Lewis, winning w/ REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+6). AOM survived 4 STRANGLER HEADLOCKs throughout the match.



---Star Warrior def. Chaos Supreme w/ the COSMIC Big Bang (+4).



---In Block B's final match of the night, Buddy Rogers def. Thantos, winning w/ the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. Both wrestlers traded finishers throughout the match but the tide turned when Thantos misses a turnbuckle charge and goes knee first into the buckles. It was academic after that.

---Block B gets us started as Harley Race def. Bobo Brazil with his third PILEDRIVER of the match. Harley has slowly climbed into position to have an outside shot of finishing in the Top 2 of the bracket. Great bout.



---Endgame def. Wolf, winning w/ the ULTIMA LEAP. Wolf has faded over the last several weeks and now has no shot at winning the bracket.



---Monolith scores the win over Freddie Blassie w/ CATASTROPHE. Monolith can win the bracket with wins over the next two rounds as he faces both Encubus and Randy Savage.



---Randy Savage takes an important win over Harbringer after dropping the FLYING ELBOW DROP on his opponent for the second time in the match. Savage is in the driver's seat as he just needs to beat Monolith in Round 9 to take the top spot.



---In Bracket B's final match of the night, Encubus keeps pace with a win over Lou Thesz, winning w/ the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK.




---Block A's first match of the night sees Nick Bockwinkel take a controversial win over Star Warrior. Bock got the pin w/ a Back Suplex but used the ropes for leverage during the pinball.



---Ed 'Strangler' Lewis def. Mensar after wearing the big man down w/ repeated STRANGLER'S HEADLOCKS.



---Thantos takes a win over Chaos Supreme, winning w/ the MASTERLOCK. The tourney has been a huge disappointment for Chaos.



---George Hackenschmidt gives Buddy Rogers his first loss of the tournament after locking in the RUSSIAN BEAR HUG to get the win.



---In Block A's final match of the night, Aethran OverMaster def. Frank Gotch, winning w/ an Overhead Toss after hitting REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+6).

Bracket Scenarios:. In Block A, Buddy Rogers needs just one won from his two remaining matches to take the top spot. Frank Gotch has to win both of his remaining two matches and have Rogers lose the remaining two to win the bracket.


In Block B, Randy Savage wins the bracket with wins in his two remaining matches or beats Monolith in Round 9. Randy can still win the block with a win over Freddie Blassie and Encubus def. Monolith. Randy holds the tiebreaker over Encubus.

Monolith can win the bracket outright with wins in his two remaining matches regardless of any other scenarios as he faces both Encubus and Savage in the last two rounds.

Encubus wins the bracket with a win over Monolith and two losses by Savage.

---Great match to start tonight's Block A matches as Chaos Supreme scores a win over Nick Bickwinkel w/ his sixth BOW OF DEFEAT of the match.



---Thantos scores a quick, impressive win over George Hackenschmidt, winning w/ the MASTERLOCK (snake eyes).



---Star Warrior catches Ed 'Strangler' Lewis charging into the corner and drops him with a HUGE lariat to get the pinball.



---In a huge matchup, Mensar def. Frank Gotch w/ the STAR DESTROYER. This loss by Gotch means he cannot win the bracket.



---In Block A's final match of the night, Aethran OverMaster scores a huge win over Buddy Rogers w/ REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+4). This win by AOM puts him back in play to win the Bracket if he can win in the next round and Rogers loses.




---Block B opens with Harley Race dropping Lou Thesz w/ the PILEDRIVER for the win. Harley continues a late tourney push and will finish in the top half of the bracket after starting so poorly.



---Endgame scores the win over Bobo Brazil, winning w/ the ULTIMA LEAP.



---Harbringer continues Wolf's horrid run through the later stages of the tournament after dropping the savage w/ PORTENT OF DOOM.



---Freddie Blassie pulls out the win over Randy Savage, winning w/ the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER. Randy still controls his own destiny and can win the bracket out-right with a win in Round #9.



---Block B's final match, Monolith squashes Encubus w/ CATASTROPHE, setting up a winner-takes-all showdown with Randy Savage.

Standings Update: In Block A, it all comes down to either Buddy Rogers or Aethran OverMaster for bracket supremacy. A win by Rogers gives him the top spot but if Rogers loses and Aethran OverMaster wins, then AOM will take the bracket due to his head-to-head win over Rogers


In Block B, it all comes down to Randy Savage vs Monolith as the winner of that match will take the bracket.

....It all comes down to the Rivalry Round to determine who tops the Brackets....As it should....Wins by Buddy Rogers and either Randy Savage or Monolith puts them into the KCC championship match....Let's get to the action....



---Block B starts the action for this round as Bobo Brazil puts Harbringer down w/ the COCO BUTT.



---Encubus puts down Harley Race w/ SECOND COMING and will finish 3rd in the bracket.



---Freddie Blassie ends Wolf's disappointing tourney by dropping the savage one w/ the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER in a very violent, bloody match.



---In a great technical match, Lou Thesz def. Endgame w/ the THESZ PRESS.



---The huge match for the bracket sees Randy Savage get up from CATASTROPHE and hit FOUR consecutive FLYING ELBOW DROPS to score the win over Monolith. Great match!!! Randy wins the bracket and moves to the KCC championship match.




---Block A starts with a bang as Aethran OverMaster does his part and def. George Hackenschmidt w/ REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+5).



---Thantos is able to lock in the MASTERLOCK and def. Nick Boickwinkel.



---Chaos Supreme def. Ed 'Strangler' Lewis after using the BOW OF DEFEAT over and over again until Lewis cannot continue.



---Star Warrior hits Cosmic Smash to start the match and then puts Frank Gotch down w/ COSMIC Big Bang (+5) to get the win.



---Block A's final match has huge ramifications as Buddy Rogers needs a win over Mensar to advance to the KCC. Rogers dominated early w/ the aFIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE but Mensar powers out and hits STAR DESTROYER (snake eyes) to win the match and give Aethran OverMaster the bracket win!!



Block A LOW vs GWF: 0-5 (10-15): GWF goes 10-0 over the last 2 rounds!!!
Block B LOW vs GWF: 4-1 (11-14)

GWF wins the overall head-to-head 29-21.

Kronos Champions' Carnival: Round #10: Championship Round

....Huge championship match between Randy Savage vs Aethran OverMaster....LOW needs to go 9-1 to win the head-to-head rivalry....Let's get it started....

---We start things as Harbringer dominates Nick Bockwinkel w/ PORTENT OF DOOM. Not a good showing for Bock overall.



---Chaos Supreme forces Harley Race to submit to BOW OF DEFEAT. Harley put up a good fight but got wore down with the repeated BODs throughout the match.



---Great match between Bobo Brazil vs Star Warrior as Bobo gets the duke w/ the COCO BUTT after Star Warrior misses COSMIC BIG BANG. The perennial fan favorites shake hands afterwards in a sign of mutual respect.



---Mensar def. Freddie Blassie w/ STAR DESTROYER. Blassie's repeated Bit to Forehead bad Mensar's purplish blood flowing which semi to really anger the Mensian, setting up the finish.



---Endgame fought through repeated RUSSIAN BEAR HUGs to def. George Hackenschmidt w/ the ULTIMA LEAP.



---In an interesting turn of events, Thantos & Encubus demanded to face their opponents in a tag match and Lou Thesz & Ed 'Strangler' Lewis agreed. Great match between the two adhoc teams but it was Thesz/Lewis picking up the win w/ the STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK on Encubus for the finish. Event organizers decided to give the LOW team two wins for this match.



---Wolf def. Buddy Rogers, winning w/ the SAVAGE FACE CLAW (snake eyes). Rogers went for his finisher and ended up in the SFC for his troubles.



---Frank Gotch scored a win over Monolith w/ repeated GOTCH TOEHOLDS after the behemoth missed CATASTROPHE.



---The Main Event between Randy Savage vs Aethran OverMaster for the KCC Championship did not disappoint. Savage was in control early, hitting two FLYING ELBOW DROPS for near falls. AOM fought back, using the Shattering SuperPlex as his main weapon for several near falls as well.

Randy went for the FED on a standing AOM but gets caught in mid-air and AOM delivers a series of Ballistic Headbutts that busted Randy open. A Gladiator Piledriver sets up REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (+6) to give AOM the win!!.

Aethran OverMaster wins the Kronos Champions' Carnival Championship!!

Final head-to-head tally has GWF 35, LOW 25
