Hello fellow gamers.
I recently purchased the Legends Expansion Pack and it came with a leaflet saying “Your chance to run a federation your way”. So that’s what I’m doing. My favourite period of American wrestling is 1985-93. So if a wrestler plied his trade in the USA during this period, chances are he will appear here. There will be no storyline shenanigans here though; just matches, put together and played out for the sheer fun of it. And if you want to come along for the ride, you’re quite welcome to.
The following is a quick card I rolled out on Christmas Day…
Card #1
King Kong Bundy v Jimmy Valiant The evening kicked off with The Boogie Woogie Man taking on the gigantic Bundy. Valiant used his agile advantage to throw Bundy off his game. A wind-up elbow got a two-count. Valiant held Bundy down with a grinding hammerlock. The action spilt onto the arena floor; Valiant smashed Bundy into a post. As Bundy climbed back in, Valiant slapped on a SLEEPER for the win.
Bob Orton Jr. v Mike Graham The Cowboy went for a SUPERPLEX far too early and it was no surprise when Graham kicked out. Orton missed a dropkick and Graham attacked with a sleeper hold. Both wrestlers went for the same move and collided! Graham recovered first and smartly rolled up “Ace” in an Oklahoma sideroll for the pinfall.
Bill Dundee v Magnum T.A. The Australian athlete stunned the spectators by almost finishing Magnum off within a minute! Magnum retaliated but went for the big splash too many times allowing Dundee to evade. Dundee ran into the ropes for a running chop block but was captured in a BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX for a nearfall. “Superstar” began to dominate but found his opponent too resilient and ended up getting disqualified for using a steel chair at ringside.
The Great Muta v Lex Luger Muta spat mist before entering the ring which angered Luger into attacking with a football tackle and a powerslam. Luger missed an elbow drop and Muta flattened him with a spinkick. The man from Japan crushed Luger with two consecutive backbreakers before scoring the pinfall.
Nick Bockwinkel v Dutch Savage Bockwinkel fired Savage into the turnbuckle and went for a forearm smash only to be clotheslined. Savage laid on punches and kicks then hit the RUNNING PILEDRIVER for a nearfall. A kneedrop and a thumb to the throat brought more nearfalls. Bockwinkel appeared to be out but was actually sucking his opponent into a false sense of security. When Savage missed his kick, he was ground down with snapmares and back suplexes. “Tricky Nick” threw Savage into the turnbuckle, slapped on the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER and won.
Masked Superstar v Tony Atlas Superstar attacked during the ring introductions, levelling Atlas with a clothesline and forearm smashes. Atlas, fired up from the spectator chants, came back with a jumping headbutt then whipped his opponent into the ropes for a double chop. A dropkick and a suplex set up the PRESS SLAM & SPLASH; Atlas covered for an easy three-count.

A nice start to your new fed, good luck with it. I really like the idea of using talent exclusive to that time period.

A nice start to your new fed, good luck with it. I really like the idea of using talent exclusive to that time period. Thanks. I forgot to mention that it cards will be predominantly singles matches with a tagteam main event. I own all the B&W LOW sets and some bootlegs so have plenty of talent on the roster.

Card #2
One Man Gang v S.D. Jones Gang slammed Jones hard but missed an elbow drop. Jones went for the HEADBUTT early for a nearfall. Jones began knocking Gang around the ring with his shuffle & KO punches then attempted the HEADBUTT again, only for a two-count. Gang bounced off the ropes and flattened Jones with a shoulder block then it was his turn to dish out some punishment. Jones was crushed outside the ring but managed to beat the count. Gang was knocked out of the ring and, upon his return, was pinned with a power body slam for a massive upset win for “Special Delivery”!
Rick Rude v Sam Houston The young Texan was hoping to prove himself against the “Ravishing One” in this bout. When Rude missed with a falling forearm drop, Houston capitalised with an elbow smash and took Rude down with a kneeling armlock. Houston attempted an atomic drop but Rude shrugged him off, whipped him into the ropes and hit a stiff clothesline. Rude followed up with a swinging neckbreaker before finishing Houston with the RUDE AWAKENING.
Harley Race v P.N. News The Motown rapper took on one of this federation’s toughtest men in Harley Race. A suplex was countered by Race who battered News with swinging neckbreakers and the big man retreated to the arena floor. Race fired News towards the turnbuckle but the rapper reversed it; however he ran into Race’s clothesline. The Kansas City native attacked with a diving headbutt then finished the bout by pinning News with the PILEDRIVER.
Kevin Sullivan v Marty Jannetty Sullivan tried to ambush his opponent with a running knee but Jannetty, too quick, moved out of the way and hit two suplexes. Jannetty hit a few dropkicks and a cross body attack which forced Sullivan to flee the ring. Jannetty tried for an atomic drop but received a thumb to the eye. Sullivan nailed him with a clothesline and attacked from the top turnbuckle. Jannetty reversed a Boston Crab and stunned Sullivan with a back elbow ram. Everybody’s favourite Rocker covered and scored the pinfall.
Stan Hansen v Blackjack Mulligan A one-sided brawl as Mulligan battered Hansen around the ring with right hands, bodyslams and an elbow ram. Hansen got some shots in but Mulligan raked his eyes and slammed him hard to the mat. Hansen escaped the CLAWHOLD and left the ring. Inevitably, both men ended up brawling outside the ring, Hansen disqualified for clocking his opponent with his cowbell.
The Midnight Express v The Rock & Roll Express A nice little taster of thing to come in the tagteam division. Eaton was taken down with a hiptoss by Gibson who whipped Eaton into the ropes for a double back body drop. Lane made his way into the ring but was stopped by a headlock. Eaton gained the upper hand on Morton but missed a kneedrop allowing a tag to be made. After failing to force Lane to submit with a leglock, Gibson threw him out of the ring and followed him. Lane smashed Gibson into a post, sent him back into the ring, tagged in Eaton and they picked up a win with the ROCKET LAUNCHER.

Card #3
David Taylor v Marty Jannetty Jannetty, quick on his feet, had Taylor crashing to the mat with monkey flips and five consecutive hiptosses. Jannetty went for a flying head scissors but Taylor throat-dropped on the top rope. The Yorkshireman delivered a European uppercut then a suplex for a nearfall. Jannetty used his speed to get back on top but then Taylor ground him down with an armbar & facelock. Taylor threw Jannetty into the ropes but was on the receiving end of a sunset flip for a two-count. Jannetty caught him flush with a superkick and this time Taylor stayed down for a count of three.
King Kong Bundy v S.D. Jones Bundy locked on a facelock into an armlock but made the mistake of going for a bulldog. Jones tried for a suplex but Bundy pushed him off and threw him into the ropes for a clothesline, sending Jones out of the ring. Bundy lined up for a charge at his opponent but Jones moved, leaving Bundy dazed after hitting a ring post. Jones got away with using a chair. In the centre of the ring, Jones performed the Philly shuffle & KO punch and scored another pinfall victory!
Larry Zbyszko v Brutus Beefcake Beefcake sent Zbyszko out of the ring with an atomic drop to a pop from the spectators to begin the bout. Zbyszko was not impressed and stalled for time before suckering in Beefcake into a beatdown. Zbyszko rammed Beefcake’s head into the turnbuckle several times to send him dizzy. The match became a donnybrook, with neither wrestler going for the win but to punish the other. Beefcake went for a kneelift but was caught with an elbow. The “Living Legend” nailed “The Barber” with a knee smash for the pinfall.
Terry Funk v Jim Duggan Duggan chased Funk around the ringside with his 2-by-4 before locking up. Duggan hit a spinning bodyslam for a nearfall and Funk also managed to kick out of a FLYING SPEAR. “Hacksaw” stayed in control, flattening Funk with haymakers and clotheslines. Funk was thrown into the turnbuckle but he raised a knee into the incoming Duggan. A back suplex followed by two backbreakers was enough to pin Duggan down for three.
Bob Orton Jr. v Hillbilly Jim After reversing a full nelson, Orton tried for a quick submission via a stepover toehold. Orton downed Jim with a dropkick which set up a middle rope splash for a nearfall. Both wrestlers traded forearm shots, Orton coming off second best and was fired into the ropes for a big boot and a legdrop. Jim slapped on a BEARHUG and “Ace” had no choice but to submit.
Adrian Adonis v Magnum T.A. Magnum took Adonis down with an armdrag into an arm wringer, into a sideheadlock, into a suplex. Several dropkicks put Adonis back down as he attempted to get to his feet. Magnum fired Adonis into the ropes but Adonis drove an axehandle into the back of his head. Adonis nailed Magnum with an elbow smash, threw him into the turnbuckle and connected with a clothesline. “The Adorable One” sent Magnum to sleep with GOODNIGHT IRENE.

You are using one boot that I really wish we had an official card for - Adrian Adonis! Very cool to see Adonis win over Magnum T.A. in the main event. Although I prefer leather jacket Adrian he did great as the "Adorable" one as well. It was unreal seeing S.D. jones get one over on King Kong Bundy! Nine seconds (or 39 seconds who knows) avenged! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Rock n' Roll Express vs. Midnight Express bout on the previous show.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the Rock n' Roll Express vs. Midnight Express bout on the previous show. I'm using Cory Olson's Adrian Adonis bootleg. Before researching on youtube, I'd only seen Adonis in WM3. I'll let y'all into a secret - I'm letting my dice do the match booking as well as the matches themselves. I decided at the start that the first wrestler to obtain three pinfall/submission wins will be my first champion. And leading the pack so far are S.D. Jones and Marty Jannetty! God knows what you will all make of that!

Card #4
Greg Valentine v Wahoo McDaniel The warrior from Texas began clubbing Valentine with forearms and a clothesline but Valentine answered back with a knee to the midsection. “The Hammer” missed with a forearm allowing McDaniel to catch him with the Wahoo Suplex into an abstretch for a near-submission. McDaniel grabbed onto his opponent with a side headlock but Valentine forced him into the ropes. The Seattle native surprised his man with a running clothesline and covered for the pinfall.
Curt Hennig v Koko B. Ware Hennig eyed up Ware on his way to the ring and began a demolition job on him. Ware was taken down for a chinlock which seemed to drain all the energy from him. Hennig ruthlessly attacked with rolling necksnaps and The Axe. A beautiful standing dropkick set “The Birdman” up for a rolling necksnap, a three-count, and a “Perfect” win for Hennig.
Terry Funk v Tracy Smothers Funk had enjoyed an easy win over Jim Duggan but found the going more difficult against the “Southern Boy”. The bout lasted a long time, going back and forth. Funk smashed Smothers with a chair and attempted the SPINNING TOE HOLD but it wasn’t enough. Smothers seemed to get stronger as the bout progressed and he caught Funk napping with a running crossbody that earned him the pinfall victory.
Stan Hansen v Sting The spectators erupted as Sting’s entrance music played! Hansen ran at him and was dropped with a press slam. Sting followed up with a clothesline and a Stinger Splash. Hansen is incredibly tough however and he slowly began to brutalise the Venice Beach man. They battled outside the ring often with Hansen usually getting the better of it. Sting went for a spinning backfist but was caught in the Borger body slam. As Sting got up, Hansen wiped him out and pinned him with the LARIAT for a spectacular win.
Eddie Gilbert v Blackjack Mulligan If “Hot Stuff” knew he was in for a tough match, he certainly was not prepared for the beating Mulligan began to give him. Mulligan nailed him with a short jab then an elbow ram. A body slam followed with chokeholds. Gilbert came back with a chop then went for a back body drop but instead ate a fist. Gilbert realised he had to get dirty and attacked with a steel chair. Stan Hansen appeared at ringside and broke up Mulligan’s pin attempt. The referee called for the bell as both Gilbert and Hansen beat up Mulligan in the ring.
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard v 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Alexander Bagwell Did I ever tell you I liked Scorpio’s WCW theme tune? ‘Tis true! Anyway, he was up against members of The Horsemen here; a true test. Anderson tied Scorpio with a hammerlock; Scorpio reversed into a bodyslam. Anderson went for a headlock but was thrown into the ropes and hiptossed. Bagwell entered but threw “Double A” into the turnbuckle once too many and paid for it. Blanchard tried a body slam but Bagwell small packaged him for a two-count. Scorpio tagged back in and nailed Blanchard with a dropkick which sent him flying into his own corner. Anderson made the tag, decked Scorpio, dropped a knee and pinned him.

Card #5
Angelo Mosca v Sting After his loss to Stan Hansen, “The Stinger” went into this match determined. He locked on an armbar but Mosca outmuscled him into the corner and began pummelling. Mosca then hit three clotheslines and went for the cover but Sting kicked out. Mosca slammed Sting on the arena floor and, as Sting tried to re-enter the ring, Mosca stomped him. The big comeback began when the Canadian whipped Sting into the ropes to be hit by a koppo kick. Sting followed up with a flying clothesline and a one-handed bulldog. The SCORPION DEATHLOCK was applied and Mosca tapped out.
George Steele v Koko B. Ware “The Animal” attempted a sneak attack but Ware spotted it and nailed him with combo punches then a dropkick to the delight of the spectators. Steele went for a headlock but Ware shoved him into the ropes for another dropkick. Ware hit a top rope dropkick then hit the GHOSTBUSTER but a foot on the bottom rope prevented the count. Despite Steele’s efforts to fight dirty, Ware remained on top. However, when the referee was distracted, Steele pulled a foreign object from his tights and rammed it into Ware’s throat. “The Birdman” collapsed and Steele covered him for the pinfall.
Kevin Sullivan v Hulk Hogan As Hogan posed to the spectators, Sullivan snatched his bandana and began choking him with it. Hogan retaliated with a series of punches, a backbreaker and a nearfall. Sullivan reversed a suplex and began stomping on Hogan, clotheslining him out of the ring. Sullivan produced a bag of powder but Hogan gained it and threw it into Sullivan’s eyes. Blinded, the Boston man was easy prey for the LEGDROP and a win for “The Hulkster”. Yeah, brother!
Bill Dundee v Jimmy Snuka Bit of a nothing match here. Snuka attacked with a backbreaker, a leapfrog and chop and a bodyslam before tossing “Superstar” out of the ring. Both wrestlers then picked up chairs and began belting each other causing the referee to call a double-DQ.
Masked Superstar v Sam Houston Houston was fired into the turnbuckle but kneed an incoming Superstar then took him down with a kneeling armlock. Superstar muscled his way out of it and decked Houston with a double chop. Superstar reversed a suplex into a sleeper but the young Texan reached the ropes. Houston fired back with a dropkick and an armdrag then ran into the ropes. Sadly for him, he was flattened by a Superstar clothesline and a SPINNING NECKBREAKER sealed his fate.
The Sheepherders v The Fantastics The match began in bizarre fashion with all four men in the ring nailing each other with double-team moves. Rogers went for a cover but Miller laid his foot on the rope. It settled down and The Fantastics began to dominate until Rogers attempted a powerslam and was rattled with a double sledge. Williams isolated and worked on him before tagging in his partner to execute the BATTERING RAM. Rogers managed to kick out but when he stood up, Miller came off the top turnbuckle with an awkward-looking bodypress which turned out to be enough to claim a pinfall win.

I am thoroughly enjoying your new fed. Nice to see The Sheepherders come out on top against The Fantastics and I look forward to seeing how Hulk Hogan will fare. Nice start for "The HUlkster" beating Kevin Sullivan. Such a great array of talent competing here.
