Honestly, with GCon happening in PA its a little closer to me and the Con seems to fall on either the first or second weekend of July 4th vacation for me every year, so I'm thinking about making an effort to attend the 2018 edition.
I've never been to the annual Con and I really need to before I die.

GalacticCon is basically only a 4 hour drive from me this year and it looks as though I can take the Ohio turnpike all the way there. I used to make the trip through Ohio to the border of Pennsylvania almost every weekend years back to see a girl I was dating in college, so I'm super familiar with the route. From what I can tell, it'd be a very easy trip.
The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking its gonna happen. Besides, I've earned the vacation and would love to roll some dice with fellow promoters and maybe snag some cool souvenirs in the auction.

I usually drive up w Matt This may actually happen since in 10 years of working full time I've never taken a proper vacation and I'll probably never have a better chance to attend a GCon. I need to make a definite decision in the next couple of months though, just in case I need to make some moves at work as far as days off go. I live in southeastern Michigan, just south of Detroit, downriver, so yeah, I think we probably do live very near on another. Once I know whats up for sure, I'll let ya know and maybe I'll roll with you and Matt. Thanks for the offer BTW. Regardless, its very cool. |

It looks like with the WWE's change in PPV format after Wrestlemania that the PPV for Galacticon weekend is now going to be Extreme Rules.
