Oh man! What a blast from the past. Osk really knocked it out of the park with the aCe sets. Those editions were so good. Its a bummer to see that the original aCe trilogy and the follow up All-Centra Entertainment set are out of print and the line itself has basically been dead since the 'Dark Tides' expansion.

Crazy to see this as I was just thinking about your ACE fed the other day and wondering “What happened to that guy?”. Good to see you back. I remember Murdok cutting a promo and having like a living wall that grabbed and took the camera guy afterwards. Great stuff!

I saw the thread name and thought of Freddy Krueger for some reason.
Welcome back!

I loved Osk's aCe series. Still some of my favorite stuff.

Hello, my name is Brandon Michael Strevel. Some of you may remember me, some of you may not, but after a several year absence from the game and community following the loss of my entire collection of COTG cards (both official & bootleg) during an ill-fated move, I've recently begun to slowly get back into the game through the ROH/Chikara LOW sets and COTG Online/PDF sets. I plan on eventually repurchasing as many of the physical game editions as are available, but considering I lost pretty much everything released from Filsinger Games from the time I first got into the game in 1997 (started during the classic CPC game years) through the late 2000's, it's probably going to take me a while to catch up. Right now I run a LOW ROH/Chikara fed and have recently begun a GWF Classics fed. I'm looking forward to diving back into the game and community, reconnecting with some old friends, and checking out all of the new game editions that have been released since I was last involved. Hey Man, I was in a similar boat having to rebuild my lost collection. I bought a few lots on eBay to fill in my missing sets and have a lot of doubles. So when you get around to filling in old sets, hit me up and I'll cut you a deal.

aCe felt like lightning in a bottle....the war stuff was incredible but once that passed, it felt like it lacked a direction. Maybe some day Osk will return to it.

I enjoyed the all Centra Entertainment set that followed and especially dug the Dark Tides 4-pack with Neuromancer and Zeta Grey. I think Osk established a pretty nice foundation in the aftermath of the Battle for Centra trilogy, though I would have loved to see Osk continue on with it just to see where he would of taken things.
