Hello, my name is Brandon Michael Strevel.
Some of you may remember me, some of you may not, but after a several year absence from the game and community following the loss of my entire collection of COTG cards (both official & bootleg) during an ill-fated move, I've recently begun to slowly get back into the game through the ROH/Chikara LOW sets and COTG Online/PDF sets.
I plan on eventually repurchasing as many of the physical game editions as are available, but considering I lost pretty much everything released from Filsinger Games from the time I first got into the game in 1997 (started during the classic CPC game years) through the late 2000's, it's probably going to take me a while to catch up.
Right now I run a LOW ROH/Chikara fed and have recently begun a GWF Classics fed. I'm looking forward to diving back into the game and community, reconnecting with some old friends, and checking out all of the new game editions that have been released since I was last involved.

Its crazy. I started playing this game when I received it as a Christmas gift when I was only 13 years old back in the late 90s.
I'm now a 34 year old man and the game is still alive and kicking. I love the beautifully done color cards for COTG and especially the ROH and Chikara sets, but deep down I have a soft spot for the classic b&w cards.
There appears to be a ton of new content since I was last involved. Its almost overwhelming to be honest. I think I might need a sort of 'tour guide' to show me all the new stuff I've missed since I've been away.

Welcome back! Just take one of the wrestling feds and start out slowly and don't be in any hurries to get caught up unless you want to start current 2133 year. I know a couple people are not playing in 2133 for CoTG. Just remember to play the way you want to play, tell the stories you want to tell, and have fun.

Aside from my ROH/Chikara fed, I recently purchased the PDFs of the Classics sets as they are unfortunately out of print and have already rolled my first proper GWF card in years.
I plan on running a classics fed to start and through it, working my way up to the original 2087 edition and beyond.
Believe me, I've taken the old CotG mantra "Its up to you promoter!" to heart. I don't know how to run a fed any other way than my way.

As soon as I can figure out how to upload images to this message board, I'll begin sharing much of the art I've done for the game (both real & fictional wrestlers) like the art of the Sheik I am using for my avatar.

After the years off, the game feels fresh and new to me again and I've had nothing but fun rolling those tiny red and blue dice.

Welcome back! I thought of you the other day as I found one of your old matches called "Sea of Flesh Match" for the aCe, the zombies all around ringside like a lumberjack match! Good stuff, hoping to bring that back for my aCe in the near future for the Evil Dead! Fun stuff! 👍
