How about an alternate Astro Turk and Black Hole Bart who actually weren't jobbers?

Nice idea with the Mercenaries. One idea is a parallel universe version of the Mercenaries with a dark GALACTIC PUNISHER and TONGSOON, with the wrinkle being that Tongsoon wins his feud with Dreadnaught, avoiding becoming human. But still joins Krakan and Punisher on the Hitmen. Superb idea but don't call him 'Dark' Galactic Punisher, just Galactic Punisher. Even though Vigilante was my all time favorite cotg character.

Yeah, I’d want Vigilante more too although it’s definitely a cool idea, I really liked them together.

I use them in my FTR fed and sense they havent won a single match yet, I had the Commissioner Encubus crown them with the FTR Jobber Tag Team Championship. Where all they have to do is lose to keep the titles, as a joke. But, of course Astro Turk is all thrilled to be a champion. lol

Chuck Carter is a big reason why, but there are also a ton of really cool characters during those years. So I'm down for anything that involves taking ideas/characters from that era and bringing them back into the modern game. The Civil War and CPC sets get an honorable mention.

My favorite set would have to be War Games from that era, followed by Civil War because of the Aethran/Aehtran feud. I was a big Original Gladiators fan. I was a big Spike fan back in the day.

The art for the 2088 Spike card is sorta iffy, but Chuck killed it with his 2090 update. I'd take The Original 4 Gladiators over Vengeance's Gladiators any day of the week and twice on Sunday! Brute Massacre, Spike, & Mayhem FTW!

I was always iffy about Mayhem, he wasn't the original three for me.
