I mean, the bootleg community was still strong in 2002. And nowadays I'm more about the official stuff like I was when I first got into the game, but I still dig a good bootleg. GWFZ stuff is good, like the Territories is the most! Some hardcore classics got the official nod, like Devious Scott DeVille, Astro Creep & Dogma, plus alot of others. It's what I play mostly. Astro Creep and Slayer formed the classic DOOMTROOPERS team. |

X-Nails is mine, though I never liked the 'z' on the end of his name, which was actually a Duclos invention that stuck. X-Nails is how his name was intended to be spelled. Uma Dahmer is yet another character of Hoover's. I don't believe Slayer came out in that best of set. Slayer and Creep were a team way back when Duclos first created those characters in the mid 90's. |

Yeah I sold my nGo stuff to LWPD who put them up as a PDF at some point and probably vanished when the old hosting thing went kaput.
I remember all the cool bootlegs when I went to my first G-Con in 2002. Though there are still some great creations now, most of the really cool guys came back in the day.

Always have been a huge fan of The Jade Dynasty managed by Master Shogun. I'm particularly a mark for Tsuyoi the Decimator. I love his manger up date card with the art of him wearing the suit. |

Thank you for posting this. These are some cool cards. It was especially fun for me to see Homicide and Armageddon in the Convention Classics set, as they were major players in my feds for a long time (I sort of still use Homicide, but I did a card update myself for him at one point because I had used him for so long). |

Some stuff I am particularly looking for are a few of Thomas Keen's old bootlegs. I have Dangerous Dan and Mystique, but am looking for his tag team STONE COLD (Olympus & Stunning Steve) as well characters like DANIEL STREAMLINE, SHAUN & SANDY STYLES. Mostly earlier bootlegs for now. I think I have Streamline and the Styles brothers, as well as a whole bunch of other old bootlegs that I got from Adam Scepaniak at one point (Regenald Witherspoon and Conrad Chase, Violator, Deuce, Bloodbath, Sliverfang, Shadow Assassin, Night Wraith, Unknown Soldier, etc.). I have the physical cards rather than pdfs, so I would have to scan them or something. And I probably colored a number of them at some point. But if you are interested in them, PM me and I will see what I can do. |
