 Did everyone see the bullshit delay of game call that cost the Jags a first down, followed closely by the phantom pass interference call that set up the go ahead touchdown?? Then there was the ref celebrating in the end zone with the Patriot players after a touchdown..... SMH.... It's all about money and the NFL was worried about their ratings for a Super Bowl with Blake Bortles and Nick Foles. I really think this travesty is the straw that broke the camel's back for me, as I was losing interest in the National Flag-Football League anyway. |

Oh.... and don't forget the blatant hold, which wasn't called, that sprung Dion Lewis around the end for the game sealing first down.
Don't believe me, go back and watch... its so blatant.

Great podcast about how a Native American football team helped create the game of football as we know it. Another Radiolab fan! This was a great episode from a while back. I remember listening to it at work and being totally taken in by the story of this school created to take young Native American men and turn them into 'civilized Americans'. A great listen. |

KB- I'm responding late to this but I 100 percent agree with you about those bogus calls in the Patriots game with the Jags. I think the Jags were robbed and I think the refs in this Super Bowl over compensated a little bit because they didn't want to be accused of causing the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. But there is no question in my mind- The NFL wanted Brady in the Super Bowl this year. Nobody even knows any of the Jags except people in Florida. You can't tell me that doesn't factor in to their considerations when they're thinking about ratings.
