Uncle John's Friends

In the indy scene I heard of a group that was like Raven's Flock.  it was called Uncle John's Friends.  shame it never seemed to tale light as I put it together with the cards in Filsinger's and they are fighting with the Dark Menace Forces.

anyway here are the members...and who they match up in position with the Flock

UNCLE JOHN'S FRIENDS:

Sami Callihan (Raven)

Dave Crist (Davey Richards)

AR Fox (Saturn)

Darby Allin (Kidman)

Pricilla Kelly (Beulah) (I use Crazy Mary here)

with Callihan and Crist in Impact, Kelly in Shimmer, Darby in Evolve and Fox in Lucha I guess they won't be in any of the "big" feds but damn I liked this idea and wished to see it pan out.  anyone see this union or was it just a rumor that took life?

I saw this in FIP (I think) in early 2017 and it was pretty great - lots of run-ins, total chaos, and mystery - who the heck was Uncle John?? But I don't remember it going anywhere after a couple shows and then Flo Slam died and I have no idea what's happened in FIP since.

I don't think Uncle John was ever revealed. all I know was it was a good idea but everyone ended somewhere else. if Impact was smart they'd use it and sign Fox, Darby & Kelly add them to O4E feud with LAX and let it go from there.

It was in FIP the first few months of 2017. Seemed like each month after it started someone was out with an injury and Wrestlemania weekend (Jake Crist joined the group) was the last the group was really a thing. Uncle John was unfortunately never revealed.

I read an article saying Uncle John was Johnny Polo.

I also read that Uncle John was a reference to Raven's alter ego Johnny Polo.
