Unstoppable Champions of SHIMMER!

So in my SHIMMER fed Jazz has been the longest reigning champion with a 2 year in game run. She has been unstoppable. I had her even face Trish Stratus on multiple occasions and Trish came up short everytime. Even Sherri Martel, Tina Moretti, Nora Greenwald and Athena (whom she put on the shelf for 2 months) couldn't beat her. The ones who were very close were Legends Penny Banner and Mildred Burke. But Jazz was able to endure and have the dice of fate roll in her favour. She stand dominate and I am loving it!

Jazz originally took the belt from Cheerleader Melissa and even she has been unable to regain the belt. Now there are a few that are making their way up the ranks that might have a chance but ultimately may get destroyed since the dice LOVE Jazz. Top contenders are (in no particular order) Rockin Robin, Madison Rayne, Mya Yim, Davin Rose and Malia Hosaka. There are others making their way up the ranks but there are a lot of female competitors so they all are vying for a top position as I compile all of my women athletes under the SHIMMER banner/fed.

Recently in the Promoter Prime 2017 set there were two gals from WSU. The tag team of Penelope Ford and Maria Manic. And I was pretty excited to see them in the game. Upon looking at Maria Manic's stat block and with her overall character, I am thinking she might be one I groom to take on Jazz if the previous names can't take Jazz down.

So for those running SHIMMER or Women feds or even have women's divisions who are your unstoppable champions which can cover undefeatable or no matter how many times they lose the belt they end up regaining it on the rematch OR fight their way back into the top spot to challenge again?

In my game, Sherri Martel is a 3-time world champion. One reign of just over 3 months is the longest for me. I think her card is underpowered being the first womens card in the LOW game. Somehow she finds a way to win but it could be a little stronger.

Melissa has been my most dominant champion. Molly Holly has also been quite good.

In my first incarnation of New Era Wrestling, April Hunter held the Women's Championship for somewhere around eleven months.

No one else ever came even remotely close.

The title became kind of a hot potato after Hunter was upended.

I usually have the "hot potato" title run after one champion has held a title for a considerable amount of time. Almost like Creative and the Head Office are not entirely sure who is a perfect fit to push next so they decide to go through a bunch of wrestlers almost like they are testing the fan reaction. I don't expect another long reign to happen again after Jazz loses the title. And it has also been my experience where the long standing champions lose their rematch (if they even get a rematch) and then they either hole their own between the mid to upper card OR they drop into mid to lower card limbo and stay there. It is when the latter starts to happen that I take them off the roster and say they go overseas or take some much needed time off and just to conventions or promotional stuff, go into making movies or voice acting, open a gym, create a fitness program, drive a monster truck etc.

Tag titles ? Most reigns 3 Melischef - Longest reign equal Melischef & also the Pink Ladies

Mercedes Martinez has had the longest reign in my promotion at exactly a year. She feuded with Madison Eagles and Cheerleader Melissa for most of her reign.

Part of me is looking forward to a title change as it refreshes the pecking order and creates new angles and feuds but then part of me will kinda miss Jazz being champion. Again my feds have always been cursed with long reigning champions not winning their rematches and then dropping into mid card hell and then I ultimately have them leave the territory for awhile. Then by the time I decide to bring them back more wrestlers have joined the roster and there is no place for them. It almost reflects the ever changing wrestling business itself I suppose.

Hope folks will use this discussion to upkeep how their champions are doing with their long title reigns in the future.

I have the Joshi boots come in and do a couple of months and then challenge for the belt here and there. It lets the regulars sort themselves out for the next challenger.
