Always fun to see another 87 fed. Have fun with it. Thanks Troy!!! I’m loving it! Had the game when I was a kid and just bought it again and man it takes me way back. I’m hoping to get deeper into the storyline since now I have my own funds to pay for it and don’t have to ask the folks like back in the day. 😂😂😂

2087.008 01.25.2087 from Ashby Athletic Fieldhouse, Markab Pegasus
- MASSIF calls out WOLF...but he gets called out too. - The crowd was electric at Ashby Athletic Fieldhouse, as the opening event pyrotechnics flew through the air only to be followed by MASSIF’s music hitting as the 6’9” mammoth made his way to the ring. After beckoning for a mic and waiting for the cheers to die down he began to lay down his claim to the #1 contendership.
“I think we all know why I’m out here,” MASSIF began, “and WOLF... You definitely know why I’m out here. Now buddy I’ve got a lot of respect for you. What you did at the tourney was impressive. You’re gauntlet like run on the final night will go down in history as one of the most epic feats in wrestling history. I take nothing away from you. I just want my shot... my opportunity. My...”
Interrupting MASSIF mid-speech was the sound of LORD NEXUS’s entrance music as the Flying Titan made his way down and into the ring. A look of confusion crept across MASSIF’s face.
“Nex, can I you help you buddy?” MASSIF questioned.
“MASSIF my man, you know you and I don’t have any beef, but I gotta ask man... what makes you think you’re the next man in line for a crack at the Big Gold Belt?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I took out the runner up to the tourney the very next week. I landed the ‘VOLCANIC DROP’ on ACTAGON and got the one, two, three. I’m the obvious choice.”
“Oh I get it. I see how you can think that, but my friend... it’s not quite that simple is it when... well, you couldn’t make it past ME in the tournament.”
The crowd let out an “Ooooooo” that MASSIF could feel in his bones.
“Now as I said MASSIF,” Nexus continued “I think you may have jumped the gun, because I’m the obvious #1 contender in the GWF and...”
Before LORD NEXUS could continue the sound of a siren blared followed by THE GLADIATORS OF AETHRA’s music as BRUTE and MASSACRE stood at the top of the Holotron ramp.
“BRUTE, you hear these two idiots,” MASSACRE bellowed, “they sound like they really believe they’re anything more than a couple of jobbers.”
“What do you two want,” MASSIF chided.
“Well, well, well,” BRUTE began, “it sounds like these two might have a case of amnesia MASS.”
“It sure does,” MASSACRE agreed.
“Who sent NEXUS down to the elimination Bracket, MASS?”
“I did.”
“And who sent MASSIF packing for home?”
“You did.”
“Well fellas, it sounds pretty clear. If anybody is going after that strap, it ain’t gonna be one of you two bottom feeders. It’s gonna be us. So quit yer yappin and head back down to dark matches where you belong.”
The tension could be felt throughout the arena as the crowd waited for MASSIF and LORD NEXUS to respond.
“Listen boys,” MASSIF started, “you both want a chance at the title. We both want a chance at a title, well what are we to do? Are you thinking what I’m thinking NEX?”
“You know I am,” NEXUS confirmed.
“You two buffoons versus us. The losers are eliminated from the title conversation. Are you rock heads up for the challenge.”
The two Gladiators took a moment to ponder it over, then nodded in unison with one another.
“One stipulation,” announced MASSACRE.
“What’s that?” retorted NEXUS.
In unison the Gladiators responded with, “COSMIC CAGE MATCH!”
The arena erupted in cheers.

That show was extremely well put together... Very cool hype for the impromptu main event... Superb performance by all those involved and congrats to Nexus and Massif on a well deserved victory... Plus, we get some additional build up to the inevitable encounter between the top two contenders for Wolf's GWF title...
Really enjoyed the GWFonline segments... Looks like the Gamemaster has a few things up his sleeve... No surprise there...

2087.009
02.01.2087 from G W.F. Lunar Arena, Earth’s Lunar Moon
- STAR WARRIOR returns from injury -
The crowd at the GWF Lunar Arena was buzzing in anticipation for tonight's events. Fresh on their conscious was the five star match that LORD NEXUS and MASSIF put on against the GLADIATORS OF AETHRA last week. They knew that meant tonight they would see MASSIF and LORD NEXUS due battle to determine who would have the right to face WOLF for the GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. That could all wait though, because right now STAR WARRIOR was standing dead center of the ring. The normally jovial combatant stood stoic and still. The raucous crowd was focused on the galactic hero as he raised his eyes to look at the arena, soaking it all in. The crowd fell silent as he raised the mic to speak. They hung on his every word.
"I've spent my whole life in this business, I was practically born into it. My first memories are of when my father would bring me to arena when I was younger. I would stand there at his side, in absolute awe of the physical specimens that would face off in this very ring. Then when I was thirteen, my father gave birth to this company, this wonderful organization that we call the GALAXIAN WRESTLING FEDERATION."
The crowd burst into cheers starting a chant of "G-W-F! G-W-F!" As the chant died down, STAR WARRIOR began again.
"I remember idolizing the the men who helped make the GWF what it is today, the incredible likes of K.O. KELLER, CAIMAN, HECHILLES, TORIN CALLEUM, and yes...even my father's rival, MORPHEUS. There was, nor is there anyone in the galaxy to this very day that admire more than one man, and that's my father, OMEGA OF CETUS!"
The arena showed their shared admiration with a chant of "O-ME-GA! O-ME-GA!"
"And in all of my years being around this business I have never seen such a gutless, cowardly act like what happened to my father two weeks ago. COSMOS you know I'm talking to you. What you did was as low as low can get. You can attack me, but when you go after my family you've crossed the line. My friend, you have gone too far."
The very moment after the words left STAR WARRIOR's lips, THANTOS's music blared over the arena's PA system as the crowd burst into a chorus of boos. The gamemaster calmly walked out to the top of the holotron ramp and glanced over scene. The boos were music to his ears, he knew they may have hated him, but he took pride in knowing they respected him, and even more so the fact that he knew they feared him.
"Oh my dear STAR WARRIOR, do you truly believe that your hollow threats give anybody a bit of the trembles? My friend, you are truly disenchanted if you believe that anyone perceives you as anything more than the little mousey child of the once great, O-ME-GA OF CETUS," Thantos said mockingly. "Your father at least is a washed up has-been, while you...well you're nothing more than a never-was and frankly a never-will-be."
The crowd's boos only increased at this point, STAR WARRIOR grinned knowing that the crowd was behind him.
"Well COZ, I believe the GWF community may have a different opinion on that subject. I think they know that this is the dawn of a new era, an era where the GALACTIC CODE will be followed and they know who will leading the charge. What do you say guys? Who do you want leading that charge?"
The crowd was at a near fever pitch level as they began screaming and chanting, "STAR-WAR-RIOR! STAR-WAR-RIOR!" THANTOS for a second showed disgust and contempt towards the crowd before regrouping himself before speaking.
"Oh you're definitely ahead on the score card when it comes to popularity STAR. You of course are the beloved son of a legend, given the keys to the castle at a birth. Unluckily for you that's not how our galaxy works, because when it comes to pin falls and submissions, that's where I have...and ALWAYS WILL have the upper hand. You go ahead and continue shaking hands and kissing babies boy scout. I'll be the one with my had raised at the end of the day, and the GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP will be firmly secured around my waist, because I do what needs to be done. Can you do what needs to be done STAR? I don't think so. And what needed to be done was to put your old man out to pasture. He'll stay on the injured list if he knows what's good for him, because if not I'll do what really needs to be done and take that old horse out and put him down for good."
"If you ever come near my father again," screamed STAR WARRIOR, "I swear I will rip your..."
"Ah, ah, ahhh. Now STAR... that's no way to be a role model. There's children watching for goodness sake. You better watch your mouth boy scout... and even more importantly... YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK."
THANTOS turned and exited from sight. STAR WARRIOR was left seething in the middle of the ring. The crowd was silent, unsure of what the next move in this building feud would be.
Vanity vs. Mutant
Mutant defeated Vanity with a TEMPLE GRINDER at 2:54
Match Rating: 2.50
Match Notes: In a match pitting two wrestlers that scored surprising victories the previous week, it was only fitting that this match's underdog came out on top as well. MUTANT gave VANITY the rarely seen TEMPLE GRINDER for the victory.

Match Rating: 2.00
Match Notes: KRAKAN effectively cut off the ring in this bout and essentially defeated ACTAGON single handedly, never needing to tag in his partner GHENGIS KHAN. - @gwf_online interview w/ STARWARRIOR -
Before his impending matchup with EXO-KING @gwf_Online spent a moment in a twitter exchange with the galactic hero himself.
@gwf_online: @starwarrior thank you for taking a moment to speak with us and the #gwfuniverse. You and @thantos had a very tense confrontation earlier today. What do you think the Gamemaster, your one time ally, has in store for you and your father in the coming weeks? #askstarwarrior
@starwarrior: Cosmos can wait, right now, all of my focus is on @exoking, he was an integral part of the attack on my father. If not for him I would have been able to save @omegaofcetus. #coward I'll deal with cosmos another day. #whatgoesaroundcomesaround
@gwf_online: heard loud and clear! Before you go we do have an #askstarwarrior fan question from @novalaunchfanatic329: @starwarrior what has been your favorite moment in #gwf history so far? #starwarriorforever #nextgalaxianchamp
@starwarrior: great question! For me that's an easy one though. When I was 14, being front row for my dad's historic victory over @1stgwfchampmorpheus for the #galaxianheavyweightchampionship. It was just an absolutely incredible moment. @omegaofceutus
@gwf_online: always a pleasure @starwarrior, and good luck in your match tonight. #StarWarriorVsExoKing
@starwarrior: thank you #GWFforever
Exo-King vs. Star Warrior
Star Warrior defeated Exo-King with a NOVA LAUNCH at 10:15
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: The action in this match was fast and furious. STAR WARRIOR took control early, but when THANTOS unexpectedly showed up taking a seat at the announcers table at ringside, the galactic hero was visibly distracted which allowed EXO-KING to take advantage of the situation. STAR WARRIOR was able to regain the upper hand and hit the NOVA LAUNCH gaining the victory. After the match STAR WARRIOR stood in the ring waiting for THANTOS to attack but the Gamemaster simply got up from the announcers table, applauded his rival and walked to the back. What kind of mind games does the Gamemaster have in store?

- GWF reporter Rebecca Lightyear gets MASSIF's thoughts on his upcoming match -
MASSIF was stretching and getting focused for his MAIN EVENT matchup with LORD NEXUS when Rebecca Lightyear made her way into the mammoth's locker room area.
"MASSIF, hey big guy, do you have a moment for a question or two leading up to your match tonight," Rebecca inquired.
"Hey Becca, yeah, but we gotta keep it short," Massif responded, "This is quite possibly the biggest match of my career. Gotta be laser focused."
"I hear ya. I'll keep it short. Many in the GWF community are holding you as the heavy favorite in this matchup. You stand almost a full foot taller than LORD NEXUS, do you consider yourself as much of a sure win as the GWF community?"
MASSIF chuckled at the thought of himself being such a heavy favorite, "I think that NEXUS poses a lot of problems with his athleticism. Yes I may be much larger, but he is very quick and agile. He was able to topple me in the kickoff tournament, but I don't plan on allowing lighting to strike twice. So I guess, yes, I do consider myself the heavy favorite, and I plan on coming out on top."
"Well confidence is always a great thing to have going into a match, do you catch yourself maybe looking past LORD NEXUS and at a possible showdown with WOLF?"
"It's hard not to. This is my year. This is the year that I reign supreme. The mega showdown between myself and WOLF is what the GWF community wants and I plan on giving it to them."
"Well thank you MASSIF, I'll let you continue focusing, we look forward to your match tonight, best of luck!"
"Thanks Rebecca."
- MAIN EVENT: #1CONTENDERS MATCH FOR THE GWF GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP -
Massif vs. Lord Nexus
Lord Nexus defeated Massif with a TITAN DROP at 15:32
Match Rating: 3.50
Match Notes: Before the match began WOLF joined the announcers crew to do commentary and also to scope out his competition.
MASSIF and LORD NEXUS traded blows for much of the match. MASSIF was able to gain the upper hand and seemed to be moving in for the finish when a commotion erupted at ringside when WOLF was attacked out of the stands by THANTOS, COMRADE TERROR, and EXO-KING. The commotion drew MASSIF's attention and for the moment looked like he was going attempt to save the GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION but when LORD NEXUS took the opportunity to hit his TITAN DROP on the big man who was able to kick out of the first attempt, but the second TITAN DROP did him in.
STAR WARRIOR ran to WOLF's rescue as did LORD NEXUS after the bout, but THANTOS, COMRADE TERROR, and EXO-KING scattered like roaches before anyone could get their hands on them. STAR WARRIOR tended to WOLF as medical staff rushed to ringside. NEXUS rolled back into the ring to shake MASSIF's hand offering a "good match" to the 6'9" big man but was left with his hand out as MASSIF turned from NEXUS in disgust and walked away.
