I definitely am Swarm . Had the set back when I was a kid and loved the characters and the galactic universe that it held. I've ordered 2088-2090, so I'm excited to see what the timeline holds and also to finally be able to use BISHOP HELL. A lot of players will tell you that 2087-2093 are the best COTG years. You will love it. Enjoy.

Wow 56 rolls for Executioner vs Pulsar...I probably would have made it a draw around 50...I applaud your willingness to finish the match.

Wow 56 rolls for Executioner vs Pulsar...I probably would have made it a draw around 50...I applaud your willingness to finish the match. That actually sounds like a great idea TTX. I might have to come up with a time-limit/roll-limit draw scenario going forward, because that match was...boooooring. No TOKENS at all! Compared to the main-event that was only 47 rolls, but had a real excitement to it and also provided 6 close call tokens.

Cool. Also, I agree with Swarm, there's a magic in those first 7 sets.....some of my fondest memories of the game were from those years.

Card 2087.011 Live from Stargazers Grotto, Veil Nebula
-Omega returns- **Rebecca Lightyear is with Omega in the wrestler's locker room about to deliver Omega's first interview since injury.**
Rebecca - Omega, it is great to see you back at a GWF event. What can you tell us about your status?
Omega - Rebecca, I am 100% ready to go tonight and I look forward to getting retribution for the cowardly attack that Thantos and his cronies enacted on me weeks ago. I've been sitting at home with nothing but revenge on my mind.
Rebecca - Well, you'll certainly get your opportunity tonight as you are scheduled in a Titan Death Match against him. Some would say that a Titan Death Match would actually play in the favor of Thantos. Did you have any say in the decision to make this type of match? And if so, what do you think your chances are?
Omega - I'm the one who asked for it actually. Listen, Thantos isn't gonna play by the rules even if there was any. This just gives me a chance to even the odds. Thantos, I am appalled at what you have become. You were and Star Warrior were two of the brightest up and coming stars that this federation has ever seen. To look at what you've developed into breaks my heart, but if this is the path you've chosen, well little boy, I'm about to teach you a real quick lesson in respect.
Rebecca - Best of luck Omega
Omega - Thank you.
Pulsar v Killer Queen Pulsar (0) over Killer Queen (1) w/ sunset flip reversal in 56 rolls -The match went back and forth but ultimately Pulsar was able to snag the victory.
Commander Sam v Exo-King Commander Sam (1) over Exo-King (0) w/ peacemaker slingshot in 17 rolls. -Sam is back and he's on a mission. In his first action returning from injury the old patriot made quick work Comrade Terror, and Thantos's buddy, scoring the easy wing.
-Lord Nexus interview with Rebecca Lightyear- **Lord Nexus is seen pacing back and forth in his locker room. The normally confident titan seems to have some pre-match nerves about him.**
Rebecca - Nexus tonight you finally get your chance at the GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Title, the only thing in your way happens to be one of the fiercest fighters the galaxy has ever seen in unpredictable Wolf. What's going through your mind right now.
Nexus - Rebecca, ever since I was a little boy I have dreamed of this moment. I don't know any child in the galaxy that hasn't had that dream. I'm one match away from carrying the Big Gold Belt on my shoulder. I've worked hard for this and now this is my time to shine. My time to show what all the hard work, the blood, sweat, and tears have lead up to. Wolf is one hell of a competitor. There's a reason why he's the champion, but there's also a reason why I'm the number one contender, and I plan on making that reason perfectly clear tonight.
Rebecca - That actually leads me to my next question. Many have said that your claim to the number one contender spot is tainted.
**The statement makes Lord Nexus visibly irritated**
Nexus - Tainted? How the hell is my spot tainted? Everyone saw I got the win over Massif. There was no interference. I got the "1,2,3" cleanly!
Rebecca - Well Nexus, with all due respect, you were what looked to be down and out up until Wolf was attacked at ringside by Thantos, Exo-King and Comrade Terror.
Nexus - Like you said, Wolf was attacked right? Not Massif. What does that have to do with my win?
Rebecca - Well the GWF community has been quite critical over the fact that you took the opportunity during Massif being distracted to hit him with the Titan Drop. Massif was actually exiting the ring to assist Wolf. You don't find that a little tainted.
Nexus - Think what you want, but if I'm not mistaken I rmember being told that when I'm in the ring, I am to protect myself at all times. It's not my fault that Massif didn't abide by that. Look this interview is over. I need to concentrate.
Rebecca - Ok. Well thank you for your time Lord Nexus.
Nexus - Yeah whatever.
Mutant v Executioner Mutant (0) over Executioner (2) w/ Temple Grinder in 15 rolls. -Mutant surprisingly was in total control of this match from start to finish. Another improbable win for the green machine. After the shocking upset Mutant continued his chant of "MuTAnT NumBEr OnE! MuTAnT NumBEr OnE!" and surprisingly the crowd on hand loved it! What could be next for the unlikely fan-favorite who is the sole undefeated wrestler of the 2087 campaign.
Gladiators of Aethra v The Greek Gods Massacre (0)/Brute (0) over Actagon (3)/Proteus (1) w/ Decapitator in 35 rolls. -Brute and Massacre dominated the match with Actagon taking the brunt of the onslaught. Actagon has continued his roller coaster year. After a 4-0 start, the grecian god has yet to string together back to back victories.
Star Warrior v Invincible Krakan Star Warrior (1) over Invincible Krakan (3) w/ karate chop in 57 rolls. -This match is in the running for match of the night as Star Warrior and Krakan went back and forth throughout with neither one showing any signs of weakness. Both wrestlers scored some very close pin falls, but ultimately it was Star Warrior who landed the Nova Launch and scored the victory.
TITAN DEATHMATCH: Omega v Thantos Thantos (0) over Omega (1) w/ the Masterlock in 8 rolls. -This match was not for the faint of heart, as Thantos absolutely annihilated Omega. One has to wonder if, after such a demoralizing loss, the former GWF Heavyweight Champion is considering hanging up the boots.
MAIN EVENT - GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Title Match : Lord Nexus v Wolf Wolf (4) over Lord Nexus (3) w/ Savage Face Claw in 67 rolls. -In a match that lived up to the expectations and then some, Lord Nexus and Wolf put on an instant classic. Back and forth the battle was, each man giving the other his best onslaught only for the tables to be turned and reversed. Half of the GWF locker room was ringside to enjoy the battle as this was two stars in their prime, putting all on the line. Big spots. Big shots. In a match that both deserved to win. Unfortunately, the match would be sullied by an attempted attack on Wolf by Thantos towards the end of the match has stirred even more controversy as Massif came to save the renegade Wolf but Thantos ducked and Massif landed a big boot to the incoming Lord Nexus. Thantos quickly exited the ringside area but the damage was done. Wolf grabbed the downed Lord Nexus with the Savage Face Claw and secured the victory and also his first successful title defense. After the match Lord Nexus upset with controversial ending sought out the big man Massif. When he found Massif he had no hesitation and jumped on the big man. As the two fought back and forth the security team rushed to pull the two apart. What will the fall out of this all mean for the GWF?

Gripping main event with stellar performances by both Wolf and Nexus... Somewhat unfortunate that Thantos spoiled the ending (with an unintentional assist by Massif)... Nexus definitely deserves a rematch... Great way to end a superb show!

Quite the main event there. Executioner should be ashamed of that loss as well.
