No Motor City Con this year. But Gencon should be a whole lot of fun. When it comes to gaming, this is the place to be. I'm excited for NYC Comicon...especially since its really close. West Coast fans, give us some time, I'm sure we'll be out your way eventually.

All we have on the W Coast here is San Diego Comic Con. It's so weird that that we don't have anything else.

Actually the Motor City Con hasn't been ruled out. Mick Foley will be there and I've always enjoyed the con. It's also near some relatives so I kill two birds with one Alpha Stone.
Don't want to overbook this year, but Motor City Con is still on the radar.

OK, let me correct that...I will be unable to make Motor City Con...but Tom might. Luckily I got an extra 6 days of vacation at my job this year, because it is all being spent in NYC, Jamestown and Indy.

Where is GenCon hosted?
Since i am moving "down south" very soon i need to find the gaming conventions down there that I can try to talk Tom and Company (that would be Mark, Todd and Osk) into coming too...
The only one i remember hearing about is DragonCon which i am fairly certain is in Atlanta. Need to find one in New Orleans...my wife would even come as i am sure I'd be taking her to diner in one of those great NawLins restaurants!

Painfully, it was in Milwaukee for many, many years.....and left for Indy a few years ago.
Now more than ever I wish it had never left.

I'd love to see us go to Dragoncon or another big gaming convention outside of the Great Lakes area. We've hit a bunch of comic conventions in the Ohio and Michigan area, but there are so many others who haven't gotten the chance to see the product yet. Although I would hope by that time many would see our advertising.

Hotel space doomed it in Milwaukee, and with the expanded convention center and new stadium, Indy has more hotels than ever.
