If you do attend DragonCon you'll have the added bonus of Throwing Toasters there too! Live concert at the Filsinger Games booth? And hey, Virgil is usually there too! Any chance of the Toasters being at Dragoncon 2009? I'm guessing thats probably our best bet to be there, as our August 2008 travel budget will be eaten up by Gencon. |

Hey just found out today that Gen-con filed for chapter 11. This might be the last Gen con this August.

Hey just found out today that Gen-con filed for chapter 11. This might be the last Gen con this August. Probably won't be the last. They're just doing it to protect themselves since they're being sued by Lucas Arts due to (and this is the quick and painless version) Gen Con not donating the money earned from a Lucas Arts auction at the con to charity as agreed upon earlier. There are some other things, but like I said... quick and painless. |

Make plans guys! You know I love to see ya in person. The New York Con on April 18-20 is gonna be HUGE and Kris Osk and Todd Joerchel will be there too. Let's get some guys together and have dinner some night or something.
Update: I'll be in Washington D.C. on April 21 at Borders on 18th and L Street. Don't know the time yet, but probably around 6:00-8:00. I'll be there with Stan Lee for a MAJOR book signing for our ELECTION DAZE book and we expect a mob at Borders to see Stan! I hope to see you there too!

Hey just found out today that Gen-con filed for chapter 11. This might be the last Gen con this August. Isnt gencon still owned by wotc/hasbro ? But yeah I seriously doubt they are really going bankrupt. They may be just looking to clear some debts and possibly sell to a diff owner/operator. |
