DTK As read on Filsinger Games Pro Boards DON’T TEST KARMA SEPT 30 LIVE PRO WRESTLING AT TASTE AT THE TANNERY Northern Indy Wrestling returns to Taste At The Tannery in Kitchener, Ontario! Tickets available now!
American Wolf Davey Richards and Arik Royal brought their intensity to All Out and things quickly got out of hand but no before the fans were treated to some wickedly hard hitting, closely matched action. That match did not end with a decisive victory but the fans in Kitchener will be hooping that the result will be different when Richards once again steps into the ring with Royal. Both men are hungry to move up the rankings and a victory in the match could prove a significant step towards that goal.

I was All In on All Out Kevin Steen over Adam Pearce was a great main event. I felt like Pearce might take it but then Steen kicked it into overdrive with those apron power bombs. Nice. The Colony vs. F.I.S.T. was great as well, you can't go wrong matching up those two teams in trios action. Briscoes vs. Suicide Kings and Corino vs. Rhino also stood out. Great show my friend.

Card 10 – Northern Indy Wrestling presents . . . London Vacation – London Music Hall, London, ON
Mike Mondo b. “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett w/Brutal Bob & Maria Last time these two met back in June Bennett ended up going through a table but walked away with a disqualification victory for his trouble. This time around the action once again returned to the floor and featured plenty of brawling around the ring. No one went through a table however but Mondo did take flight with an unlikely cross body from the top for a big near fall. Later, Bennett attempted the same move only to get tossed to the mat in a crowd-pleasing spot. After another brawl outside, Mondo stunned Bennett with a Mondo Facebuster and it was just enough to get the three count. Brutal Bob & Maria protest the three-count stating that Bennett kicked out but the decision stands. The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) w/Olivia b. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) The Tribe were well received from the fans and were able to counter the tactics of the Bucks with quick tags and then unleashing a power assault on Matt Jackson that started with a Lariat from Lion and ended with RESERVATION DEVASTATION for the win while the save efforts of Nick Jackson were blocked. Robert Anthony b. Shane Hollister This one was tightly contested from the outset and went back and forth. Hollister pressed the attack after Anthony appeared to strain his knee during a brawl on the floor and worked the lower body. Anthony managed to kick out after a BUZZSAW KICK and slowly began to get his way back into the match. The finish came when Anthony stepped up his attack with an Ace Crusher followed by a Vertibreaker which set up a TACO PIZZA for the victory.
“Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs b. Northern Indy Champion “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen to win the title Jacobs was able to duck a no-handed enzuigiri and then connected with a series of stomps before breaking out his RAILROAD SPIKE busting Steen open and putting him down for a big near fall. The fans were livid but Jacobs kept coming with a deathjump cross body block for another two count and then blasting Steen with his RAILROAD SPIKE a second time to claim the gold.
David Marquez comes to the ring to present the title to Jacobs but Jacobs just leaves the ring with the title instead basking in his glorious heat!
Mercedes Martinez b. Athena Athena uses her speed early with a cartwheel double knee drop connecting but a running dropkick is avoided and series of repeated forearms busts open Athena’s lip and puts her down for a three count in short order. Athena is not pleased as it appears she had gotten her shoulder up but the decision stands despite the protests of those at ringside who wanted much more action from these two.
Pure Violence Match – Adam Cole w/Mia Yim b. Jay Lethal Lethal came to fight and beat Cole in and out of the ring for several minutes including running Cole into the ring post busting him open. Lethal could not find a way to get Cole’s shoulders to the mat however and soon Cole was able to roll through a cross body block deathjump for a big near fall. Cole then went to work including Coleateral and a Corona Crash. Cole got caught on the top and was slammed to the mat in a great spot but Cole was able to return the favour a short time later turning the momentum again in his favour. The finish came with Cole connected with a PANAMA SUNRISE and pinned Lethal (snake eyes!). Cole is blooded and battered but still comes after Lethal after the bell attacking him with several chair shots. Robert Anthony comes out from the back along with Mike Mondo to break things up but the damage is done. Lethal is assisted to the back (two card injury) .
Northern Indy Tag Team Champions Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe) b. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) The Briscoes had the fans fired up and responded by cutting off Benjamin from his corner and combining for a SLINGSHOT LARIAT very early on for a big near fall. Benjamin was reeling and Mark Briscoe kept the pressure on a with a deathjump smash and a CUT-THROAT DRIVER that nearly ended it. Mark Briscoe then hit a brutal suplex and covered Benjamin to end the one sided contest. Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini b. Tommaso Ciampa in a Steel Cage Match The exchange of strikes in this one was frightening early as both men tore into each other from the open bell. Strong picked up the pace with some whips into the ropes and back elbows. LeBell Lock slowed things down before Ciampa took over with a lariat and then whipped Strong into the corner. Strong countered the charge backdropping Ciampa into the cage wall and sending him crashing down to the ring apron awkwardly twisting his body and back in the process. Strong capitalizes immediately trapping Ciampa in a STRONG HOLD to get the submission.
Thanks for checking out the action and be sure to stop by next weekend for “Don’t Test Karma!”

Nice to see Roderick Strong get the better of Tommaso Ciampa in the Steel Cage, plus Adam Cole over Jay Lethal was pretty brutal.

Card 11 – Northern Indy Wrestling presents . . . Don’t Test Karma – Taste at the Tannery, Kitchener, ON
“King of Old School” Steve Corino DQ Rhett Titus Titus made his singles debut tonight and was looking for initial success against Corino. The match was over rather quickly unfortunately when Corino was forced to the floor after a Thrust Buster from Titus where Titus decided to grab a chair and clobber Corino resulting in a disqualification. The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) w/Oliva b. C & C Wrestle Factory (Cedric Alexander & Caprice Coleman) Handshakes started this one off and the Tribe went to work on Alexander almost immediately connecting with a High Five. Coleman was able to get the tag into the match but was quickly overpowered by Warrior leading to neck-breaking clothesline in the corner which set up RESERVATION DEVASTATION for the win while Alexander was cut off from making the pin save. “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards DQ Ethan Page w/Seleziya Sparx Edwards pressed the attack early in this one forcing the battle to the floor with a tiger suplex. Sparx became involved during the brawl at ringside making it two against one leaving the referee with no choice but to call for the disqualification. Davey Richards makes his way to the ring to come to his American Wolves teammates aid causing Page to make a quick retreat to the back. Arik Royal b. “American Wolf” Davey Richards Royal opened up with a series of chops but Richards came back with a running lariat setting a back and forth pace to the contest. Royal took control after a brawl on the floor and proceeded to hit three KURT COBAIN SICK KICKS without getting the victory. More brawling outside lead to a tombstone piledriver that nearly killed Richards but the American Wolf found a way to get his shoulder up. Royal pushed through this own frustration and connected with another KURT COBAIN SICK KICK to get the three count. Northern Indy Tag Team Champions Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe) b. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) The Briscoe Brother had the fans chanting before the bell and took the battle to their challengers from the opening bell. Nick Jackson survived an early SPIKE JAY DRILLER when Matt Jackson was unable to make the save. He also kicked out after a death valley driver as well. The Bucks came back with Matt Jackson connecting with a MOONSAULT on Mark Briscoe for a near fall but a second MOONSAULT missed and the Briscoes regained control and did not look back. A SPIKE JAY DRILLER to Matt Jackson ended it.
Saraya Knight DQ Madison Eagles Knight came out strong and earned some series heat biting Eagles. Knight pushed that attack with forearm and a side suplex. A whip to the corner resulted in Eagles countering a charge with a backdrop that sent Knight to the floor. Outside, Eagles executed a death valley driver that put Knight through the ringside table. With ringside roaring, the bell signaled the disqualification with both ladies down in a heap. “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen b. El Generico With Steen dropping the Northern Indy Title to Jimmy Jacobs at the last event, this one was all about the pride as opposed to the title. Steen gained the early advantage and hit an F-CINQ that nearly ended after a powerbomb on the apron nearly killed Generico. Genercio came back with his agility but Steen had the answer each time leading to several near falls. There was plenty of brawling outside as well with both wrestlers getting shots in. Steen had just too many weapons tonight and ended the contest with a second F-CINQ.
Pure Violence Match – “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini b. Kyle O’Reilly O’Reilly wrestled a nearly perfect match attacking the lower body of Elgin in an effort to neutralise his power attack and it worked for the most part. O’Reilly picked up a huge near fall after he stunned ringside with triple butterfly suplexes on his larger foe. O’Reilly then appeared to have the match won after a moonsault connected but Truth Martini pulled the referee out of the ring! In the chaos, Elgin was able to attack O’Reilly from behind and then hit back to back deathjump elbow smashes. Elgin then unleashed a SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB to get the controversial victory.
