Made it to Tokyo. It is actually Sunday night over here. On my flight over here I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Japan Airlines serves free beer all the way over the Pacific Ocean, although one of my beers fell off my seat table opened and rolled backward where a lady who was barefoot suddenly started screaming. Waking up early tomorrow to go on a bus and boat tour of Tokyo.

Very happy you not only made your flight on time (yikes!) but made it over to Japan safely. I don't mean to laugh at the lady but that rolling beer story was hilarious. Have fun visiting your sister and enjoying Japan overall. We look forward to a recap and of course wish you a safe trip home.

Free Beer on the flight! Thats awesome Zeke! Yeah, I guess free beer is standard for international flights but I did not know that since most of my travel is domestic. The flight also had free new movies and free TV which had a sports section that included limited content from New Japan Pro Wrestling (on the flight I watched the 2/3 falls match between Okada and Kenny Omega and a 1980s NJPW match between Dynamite Kid and Tiger Mask- those were the only two matches but they were free to go with the free beer. ) I liked Japan alot. Japan is a very safe country (in downtown Tokyo many of the office workers ride their bikes to work and don't even lock them up when they leave them outside,) a very professional country (even the cab drivers wear shirts and ties,) and very polite country. I spent about 3 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Hiroshima, and part of a day in Kyoto. If possible I would like to go back someday. Now I need to get some sleep soon because I am exhausted. Due to the way the time zones work, you gain a day on the return flight. My flight left Japan on Saturday November 24, 2018 at 5:50 PM and landed at LAX on Saturday November 24, 2018 at a little after 10 AM which means today has literally been the longest day of my life as I have now lived through Saturday November 24th, 2018 twice.

Glad you had a blast Zeke. I was in Japan in 2003 to perform at the NFL World Bowl. You’re right, completely safe country. I’m looking to go back next year to check out Tokyo Disneyland. The one thing I didn’t get to do when I went to Tokyo the first time. Welcome back to the USA!
