I got to Phoenix tonight, but unfortunately (due to the later flight I had to catch because I could not get out of work quite as early as I anticipated) later than I originally thought, so I just caught the very end of the convention tonight. But I saw and talked to Tom again and tomorrow I will be helping out for the full day at the Filsinger Games table. I also got to see Will (who did a good job helping Tom all day today) and his cousin Jim (who some of you may remember from Philly at Galacticon 2016) again tonight too. After the convention closed, me, Will, and Jim went to an Arizona sports bar (3 Seahawk fans at a Cardinals bar) for a couple of beers and Will and Jim also ate dinner (food looked great but I already ate tacos at the airport.)
Looking forward to tomorrow. In addition to helping Tom, I might also buy some things I saw tonight at some of the other vendor tables. One vendor is selling the mini NES which I am interested in but they want $80 for it and you can get it at Best Buy for $50 when it is in stock. But there is some cool Star Wars stuff and other things I might buy tomorrow.

Thanks Zeke! Yep, had a great time running the table with Tom and Zeke all weekend (and Tom's friend Mike was there). Ran a couple of tournaments which was a lot of fun. Hopefully we exposed some more people to our game down in the Southwest and we can get more players out west.

I got home last night (really late though due to my flight getting delayed 3 times apparently due to a dust storm- but the delays were good in a way as that extra time gave me an opportunity to eat dinner at Humble Pie which is a pizza chain in the Phoenix area with amazing food.)
Saturday was alot of fun working at the Filsinger Games table with Tom and Will. The busiest period was during the time of the daily tournament in the late afternoon, Will did a good job running that tournament and Tom posted the results here on the board. Afterward, me, Will, and Jim went to Majerle's (a sports bar owned by former Phoenix Sun Dan Majerle) for dinner and watched most of the Chargers/Cardinals game.
Sunday I worked again at the Filsinger Games table and also played demo matches with some prospective customers. Tom bought us lunch at Subway which was great (as Toasterboy and some others here know, I like Subway alot.) When the convention closed at 5, we helped Tom carry some boxes to his car and then I shared an Uber with Will and Jim to the Phoenix airport.
I had a great time in Phoenix this weekend working with Tom and Will. If Tom needs help at a future convention somewhere here in the Southwest, I would be glad to help him again.
