Interesting concept! I worry for Pesek’s durability here. Are his knees ok?! Hey joebreakdown! Thanks very much my friend. This is definitely John Pesek's last hurrah. He was and still sort of is Ed Strangler Lewis's old bodyguard. He was in a semi retired state until he heard about this fed opening up. I worry about him too (along with one other who is taking a last shot at glory) but he is one determined dude. Time will tell with The Nebraska Tiger Man but I am really pulling for him and his student Giant Baba is fiercly loyal and totally has his back. Thanks for being in the seats Joe!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GLOBAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE - Card & Chapter 2: Match Announcements: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Pampero Firpo vs Antonino Rocca: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pampero Firpo - This pretty boy is annoying the hell out of me...this sport ain't about chicks...for the most part...it's about conquering your foe...and that's what's gonna happen to Elvis here...but above all...I have to make me and my tag partner proud...
Antonino Rocca - Time to march towards the World Title...Mr. Firpo is only the first rung on the ladder before me...one barefoot at a time...that is the only way to pull this off...so much competition on this roster...not only between the two sides, but within your side itself...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Tag Team - The Rat Pack - Exotic Adrian Street with Miss Linda & Nick Bockwinkel vs Tag Team - Leap of Faith - Johnny Saint & (rookie) Jimmy Snuka: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick Bockwinkel - A ninety eight pound weakling and a wild-haired demented looking savage rookie...this is going way too easy...it would be just...too cruel...to blatantly steamroll right over them...decisions...decisions...the vicissitudes of life...
Exotic Adrian Street - Linda dear...please be a good girl and pick up those lipsticks and above all...you better not forget the batteries for my outfit...
Miss Linda - Go get this...and go get that...I swear...if it wasn't for that damn thing he does with his tongue...I would just be so outta here...but he's getting better and better in the ring...and this Bockwinkel may be able to win both titles with his damn brain alone...
Johnny Saint - Street's gone all sixes and sevens hasn't he?...I mamboed with him back home and...he was always a bit weird...but now he looks like a psychotic clown and a Christmas tree had a child...how in the world can Miss Linda still fancy that...I'm more her type...actually...
Jimmy Snuka - Johnny has some great ideas but I've got to go with my instincts here as well...and that finisher he showed me is good...but just doesn't feel right...I need something more dangerous than that...something that's gonna make a big splash...gotta work on this...
YOUR MAIN EVENT:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. The Sheik vs Don Leo Jonathan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sheik - (While deep in the midst of silent prayer upon his ornate rug...the Princess Saleema lit pungent sticks of incense as she sat back to back with him...chanting a haunting but discordant melody...forming a tight circle around both of them...as well as the rug upon the floor of an undisclosed location...meticulously and symetrically arranged...were literally thousands upon thousands of razor sharpened...intermittently blood stained...number 2 pencils...with all of the labels pointing perfectly upwards).
Don Leo Jonathan - (As he lifted up and did curls with a cinder block in each of his hands) - Whomever this opponent is...I find it hard to believe...that he can be as disturbed as they say he is...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming soon Card & Chapter 2 results, stats and some statements of the night.
Happy weekend all!

Thanks very much TTX! I was inspired by a few peoples feds and tendencies and slowly played around with a target year to try something like this. I have taken a few liberties by upping some wrestlers starting dates and extended a couple (Pesek technically stopped in 1959 - but what's one more year for a toughie like him? This idea has really enabled me to do a deeper dive with some wrestlers I haven't really used yet and am trying to be basically in the (what I perceive to be) the world in 1960. I am having a lotta fun with this sucker. Thanks as always for being in the seats and being a part of it all! Bri.

My man Adrian Street made his debut in 1957 as Kid Tarzan Jonathan. Great to see him in all his flamboyant glory there though! Miss Linda would have only been in her early teens at this time, but poetic licence certainly allows her to play a role!

yeah I was amazed when I read Heels that Adrian had been wrestling that long because when I saw him the late 80s you would never have known he had been wrestling 30 years. Still one of my faves to this day.

I was thinking that wouldn't it make quite a splash if The Exotic came out earlier and also at that time? More to follow my friend!
