ROH Death Before Dishonor 2018, Orleans Arena in Las Vegas!

I had head recently something about ROH not returning here to Las Vegas to do Death Before Dishonor at Sam's Town for a 3rd straight year, but it turns out that is only because instead RH will be doing Death Before Dishonor here n Las Vegas at the 10,000 seat Orleans Arena!

The Best Wrestling on the Planet makes its debut at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for two nights of the hard-hitting, fast-paced, in-your-face action only Ring of Honor can provide. The Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view takes place in the city known for bright lights and big fights on Friday, Sept. 28, and ROH returns to the venue the following night for an International Television Taping.

Tickets for the two events featuring all of the top ROH stars go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. local time for HonorClub members and Friday, Aug. 3 at 12 p.m. local time for the general public.

Death Before Dishonor has been an ROH staple since 2003 and has featured historic title changes and classic matches. This will be the third year in a row that Las Vegas has hosted the extravaganza.

It sucks that the WWE stopped ROH from doing that show at Madison Square Garden next year during Mania weekend.

It will be interesting to see how many tickets ROH sells for this event. I have been to the Orleans Arena to see the WWE and Impact, both drew OK but did not sell out. I have been to AAA in the Orleans Arena which drew very well (better than the WWE or Impact and far better than Global Force.)

ROH must be planning something big for Death Before Dishonor this year!

Tonight I attended ROH's Death Before Dishonor PPV. This was the first time ROH has done a show in the 10,000 seat Orleans Arena (although ROH did their 13th Anniversary in the Orleans Ballroom) where in the past I have also seen a WWE house show, TNA TV tapings, Global Force shows, and a AAA show. There were alot of empty seats in the Orleans Arena but ROH stated it was still the biggest ROH crowd ever in Las Vegas where they have been running 2 PPVs per year the past few years. Personally, I think I prefer Sam's Town as the local venue for ROH but the Orleans is a much closer drive for me.

For tonight's PPV, I sat second row on the floor. Overall I was not surprised by the results, but I had a good time. My favorite matches were the 10 man tag and Jay Lethal vs Will Ospreay.


Looking forward to tomorrow's TV tapings and then the FSW supershow on Sunday. Before the show tonight, I bought the 3 disc Legends in ROH DVD set which I will probably start watching tomorrow before I drive back over to the Orleans.
