(I tried this once before, but with the updated online interface making it easier to run cards on my phone I decided to give it another shot.) Headline, Deimos, Mars, 18701.31: The Galaxian Wrestling Federation, or GWF, has been one of the biggest sports outlets in the galaxy for several years. Founded by Omega of Cetus in 2074 after the ban on athletic violence was lifted by the United Federation of Stars and Planets, the GWF grew to rival Gravity Ball, Holohocky, Baseketball, and even Soccer as a prime example of athletic competition and fighting spirit. Sadly, this changed in the late 2080s as some wrestlers entered the GWF with more nefarious reasons in mind. With injury an conflict reaching a boiling point, it looked like the pro wrestling organization was headed for the last pinfall. But then, in late 2086, a new board of investors decided to purchase the promotion and attempt to revive it's image. Gone would be the days of open door hiring practices and reckless booking. In their place would be solid contracts and dedicated matchmakers. In the wake of the sale, it was announced that the GWF would cease all events until 18703.00 when the relaunched brand would officially begin. The championships were vacated, contracts were negotiated, and in the end 26 individuals entered the active roster of the New Era GWF. The first show of this new era will be held on 18703.03 at the Niagra Tower of Lights, New York, USA, Earth. The roster for this new era is as follows Star Warrior Omega of Cetus Commander Sam Massif Actagon Proteus Wolf Beast-Rider Renegade Lord Nexus Pit Viper Pulsar Red Talon Thantos The Executioner Comrade Terror Exo-King Killer Queen Duke of Destruction Death Knight Brute Massacre Vanity Invincible Krakan Ghengis Khan Mutant The comentary team for the weekly show, Galaxy of Stars, will be former GWF wrestlers Torin Caelum and Hechilles. Former GWF wrestler and Deimos native Rama will conduct interview segments and ring announcing will be handled by Annouc-i-tron 2100.

Galaxy of Stars - 1 18703.03 from Niagra Tower of Lights, New York, USA, Earth
- Welcome to the show! - (The Galaxy of Stars intro plays, featuring shots of the GWF roster in action [most take from vids of matches prior to this first show]. The shot of the arena fades in as we pan over the cheering crowd of GWF fans in attendance tonight!) Torin Caelum: Hello fans of pro wrestling through out the cosmos! It is time for the first broadcast of the new era of the Galaxian Wrestling Federation! Welcome to GWF Galaxy of Stars! I am former GWF star Torin Caelum and beside me is my broadcast partner, another former GWF star, Hechilles. Hechilles: It's good to be here, Torin. The fans are going nuts for the action lined up on the card tonight! Caelum: You're right about that, as it is indeed a fantastic night of pro wrestling we have in store as the first round of the Galaxian championship tournaments kicks off. Hechilles: The new GWF board of directors decided that a fresh start was needed so they vacated the belts, which got a lot of protest from the former champions who just wanted to carry their titles forward into this new era. Caelum: And I'm sure we will hear about that later on tonight, but first let's run down the card of tonight's event! First up the two match-ups in the Galaxian Tag Team title tournament tonight will see the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade and Beast-Rider, taking on the Henchmen of Thantos, Comrade Terror and The Executioner. Then later the Legends of the Ring, GWF founder Omega and Commander Sam, take on the brutal headbanging Gladiators of Aethra, Brute and Massacre, the holders of the Tag titles before the board vacated them. Hechilles: And boy were the Gladiators not happy about that at all. Also tonight we have two opening round matches in the Galaxian title tournament that will see Star Warrior, the former holder of the Galaxian title, take on Invincible Krakan in tonight's main event! And in our opening match Lord Nexus of the Flying Titans goes one-on-one with Royal Court member Duke of Destruction. Caelum: Let's not waste anymore time and get into tonight's action!
Lord Nexus vs. Duke of Destruction Lord Nexus defeated Duke of Destruction with a TITAN DROP at 3:10 Match Notes: Caelum: Lord Nexus starts off strong with a top wrist lock. Duke looks dazed. Nexus keeps Duke in that top wrist lock then smashes Duke with his forearm. Duke answers with a forearm swipe of his own! But Nexus is right back in with the top wrist lock. Hechilles: Lord Nexus is really working that wrist lock, Torin. Trying to weaken his grip to avoid Dukes CLAW OF DESTRUCTION. Caelum: No doubt part of his strategy, Hechilles. But look, Duke has managed to slip out of the wrist lock and take Nexus over with an armdrag takedown! Hechilles: Lord Nexus is too agile for that, he should rebound quickly. Caelum: Indeed as Nexus is back to his feet, climbs up to the second turnbuckle and delivers a stunning dropkick off the turnbuckle! Duke of Destruction rolls out of the ring while Lord Nexus soaks up the cheers of this crowd! Hechilles: Duke looks to be in some trouble here. He's not paying attention to his opponent. Caelum: Lord Nexus has climbed out onto the apron and crushes Duke with a spectacular moonsault! What a move! Helchilles: Duke may not make it back into the ring in time, Torin. The ref is counting. Caelum: Duke makes it back into the ring before the ref counts him out but Lord Nexus is right on him! Hoists him up onto his shoulders and delivers a TITAN DROP! The ref counts! One...two...three! It's all over! Lord Nexus is your winner and moves on in the Galaxian Title tournament. Hechilles: A heck of a showing by Lord Nexus. Poor Duke of Destruction just couldn't get it going tonight.
- Backstage with the former champion. - (We see Rama standing in front of a GWF banner backstage.) Rama: Fans, my guest at this time almost needs no introduction. He is the son of GWF living legend Omega and the former Galaxian champion before the board vacated the title. Please welcome, Star Warrior. (Fans can be heard cheering as Star Warrior steps into frame.) Rama: Thank you for joining me, Star Warrior. Star Warrior: My pleasure. Rama: Now, your GWF career is a long and storied one. Successfully teaming with the man who is now your bitter enemy. Claiming both singles and tag team gold. Having to step in the ring under the shadow of your heritage. What are you looking to accomplish as the GWF heads into this new era? Star Warrior: Well, the same thing I always have, try to go out there and give my very best every night so that the younglings watching in the crowd and on sub-etha hollonet can have someone they can look up to. Someone to aspire to be. Now yes, my former best friend is the man who broke the Galaxian Code that my father established when he founded this company. And yes, the new board of directors may have vacated my title... Rama: Yes, not to interrupt but how are you feeling about that? I know that the Gladiators of Aethra have been very vocal about their...displeasure over the decision. Star Warrior: Frankly I'm not worried about it. That title, first held by my father, is the apex of this company, of this business. I have reached that apex before, I will reach it again. Whether it's at the end of this tournament or further down the road, someday my name will be on that title again. Until then, my priorities don't change. Kids, always remember that in everything you try to do, never stop reaching for the stars! (Star Warrior exits) Rama: Uplifting words from the former champ, will he be able to channel that positivity into a victory tonight? We'll find out later. For now, Torin, Hechilles, back to you.
Neptunian Space-Croppers vs. Henchmen Executioner defeated Beast-Rider with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 13:58 Match Notes: Caelum: Comrade Terror walks right up to Renegade and doesn't waste any time, nailing him with a forearm smash. Renegade just shakes it off and delivers a forearm smash of his own. Hechilles: I don't know if Renegade is just that tough or just too stupid to know what pain is, but either way Comrade Terror is going to have to hit him harder. Caelum: Renegade grabs Comrade Terror and tries to ram his head into the turnbuckle, but Terror breaks free and tags in Executioner. Hechilles: I have to say this is a very odd pairing, but glad to see Terror is at least willing to make the tag. Caelum: Executioner grabs Renegade and shoots him into the ropes, gets into position for a back body drop but Renegade grabs him and hits him with an awesome piledriver! Renegade is now gouging the eyes of Executioner. Hechilles: Come on ref, you can't allow that kind of behavior! Caelum: Renegade now looking for a leg drop, but Executioner rolls out of the way and Renegade just hits the mat. Executioner lets Renegade get to his feet then nails him with a standing dropkick. Renegade looks dazed. Executioner follows up with another standing dropkick. Renegade is looking hurt. Executioner is still on him and finally takes him down with a running lariat! Hechilles: After that exchange I'm really starting to lean more toward Renegade not being smart enough to understand pain. Caelum: Executioner applies a face claw, but Renegade is able to make it to the ropes, forcing a break. Executioner climbs up to the top rope and comes off with an awesome cross body block, but Renegade catches him and counters with a Cropper Slam! Renegade goes for the cover! One...two...NO, Executioner gets his shoulder up! Hechilles: Beast-Rider is leading the crowd in cheering for his partner from the apron. What a goofball. Caelum: Renegade with a flying knee drop followed by a leg drop. Renegade firmly in control now. Picks Executioner up and delivers a double knee lift. Executioner is staggered. Renegade just delivers a fist to the head of Executioner. And another Cropper Slam! Followed by another flying knee drop. Before Executioner can get up Renegade starts an illegal choke on him! Hechilles: What is the ref even doing in there?! That's twice now Renegade has used blatant illegal tactics in this match! Caelum: Renegade breaks the hold before the five count, brings Executioner to his feet and hits a third Cropper Slam! Doesn't go for the cover, instead brings Executioner back to his feet and shoots him into the ropes. Executioner comes off the ropes and Renegade puts him down hard with a running back elbow! Followed by another Cropper Slam! And another! The fans are going wild! Renegade hits a double knee lift and tags in his partner Beast-Rider. Hechilles: Maybe Beast-Rider will respect the rules more than his partner does. And we don't have to see him playing cheerleader anymore. Caelum: Beast-Rider with a boxing jab to Executioner, goes for another but Executioner blocks it! Executioner setting up Beast-Rider for a suplex, but Beast-Rider counters with his Beast Knee Shuffle! Hechilles: Beast Knee Shuffle? Even his move names are lame. Caelum: Beast-Rider climbing the turnbuckle now, looking to hit a moonsault, but no! Executioner rolls out of the way and Beast-Rider crashes to the mat! Executioner now dragging Beast-Rider over to the ropes and begins to choke him using the ropes! Hechilles: That's smart thinking, Executioner, fight fire with fire! Caelum: Face claw by Executioner but Beast-Rider able to force a break. Wait, Comrade Terror just seemed to hand something to Executioner while the ref was checking on Beast-Rider. Renegade in to make the complaint but the ref is trying to get him back out onto the apron. Executioner nails Beast-Rider with that illegal foreign object and the ref didn't see it! Hechilles: What teamwork by Executioner and Comrade Terror! Caelum: Beast-Rider tries to make a tag but Executioner cuts him off. Executioner applies that face claw again, but again Beast-Rider is able to get to the ropes for the break. Executioner waiting till Beast-Rider gets to his feet then hits him with a dropkick. As Beast-Rider is getting up Executioner levels him with a running lariat! Goes for the cover. One...two...NO! Beast-Rider is able to kick out at two. Hechilles: Neither of these guys are smart enough to know when to quit. Caelum: Executioner has Beast-Rider back up on his feet. HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE! Cover. One....two...three! The Henchmen win the match! Hechilles: These guys are a clear odd couple, but something tells me they will go far in this tournament with teamwork like we saw tonight! And I hope the GWF board is looking over this match to see what kind of action needs to be taken against Renegade. That man has no respect for the rules!
- Beast handling. - (Cameras backstage catch Beast-Rider talking with his partner, Renegade) Beast-Rider: You know you can't use those kinds of moves. We're heroes. Omega expect a better level of behavior than that. Renegade: Then maybe Natural Man was right when he split and became Vanity. I do things MY way, Beastie, no one elses. Beast-Rider: That kind of attitude will get you in deep trouble around here. You need to calm down. Renegade: Calm Down? Calm down! You know I don't calm down! I'm the wild jungle man, remember. No body on this roster is as wild or tough a me. (At this point Commander Sam walks up to the two men.) Commander Sam: Beast-Rider. Renegade. Beast-Rider: Commander Sam. Renegade: What do you want? Commander Sam: I was sent here by Omega to let you know that while he may not have the clout he used to in the front offices anymore, he still wants the GWF to be seen as a clean place to work. Renegade: So Omega sent you to tell me to calm down, huh? Commander Sam: In a nutshell, yes. Renegade: Well how about I don't want to change my style? How about I like the way I am and you other heroes can... Commander Sam: Watch your mouth, or I'll... Renegade: You'll what, old man? Send me to bed without supper? Commander Sam: That's it! Next week, you and me, one-on-one. We'll see then who get sent to bed. Renegade: Sounds good to me, baldie. See you next week. (Renegade walks off) Commander Sam: (turning to Beast-Rider) You may need to get a muzzle on him. (Commander Sam walks off leaving Beast-Rider standing alone in the hall confused.)
Red Talon vs. Vanity Vanity defeated Red Talon with a count out at 3:12 Match Notes: Caelum: Newcomer Red Talon facing off against Vanity. Vanity starts off with a quick hip toss followed by some boxing jabs. Hechilles: Vanity is proof that someone from Neptune doesn't have to be a bland lame-o or a reckless wild man to be successful. Not that those other two are successful as we just saw. Caelum: Vanity follows up with an atomic drop and goes for the cover! One...no! Talon able to kick out at one. Vanity climbs to the top of the turnbuckles and blasts Red Talon with a flying clothesline! Hechilles: Vanity is really showing off his stuff tonight! Caelum: Vanity climbing to the top turnbuckle again. PULVERIZER! The ref counts one...two...no! Red Talon kick out again! Vanity is arguing with the ref and allowing Red Talon to get back to his feet. Hechilles: I think Vanity has a legitimate gripe here, clearly that should have been a three count. Caelum: Vanity delivers a fist to the face of Red Talon, but it strikes Talon's beak! Talon gabs Vanity and hooks him into a wristlock. Vanity counters, scoops Talon up and puts him down with a body slam. Vanity quickly follows with a flying fist. Hechilles: Agile and resourceful, is there anything Vanity can't do? Caelum: Red Talon rolls out of the ring to get some air. Vanity comes out after him, gabs him, hits a Cropper Slam on the outside onto the floor! The ref is counting. Vanity is in the ring preening. The ref is up to eight...nine...ten! Red Talon has been counted out! And Vanity is celebrating. Hechilles: As well he should! Were you paying attention, Renegade? You couldn't put Executioner down with multiple Cropper Slams, Vanity only needed one. (Vanity grabs the mic from ringside) Vanity: I really should sue the GWF's new board or directors for failing to include me in the Galaxian Title tournament, but it really doesn't matter. Because after more matches like this, I'll be getting a title shot very...very...soon. And then all of you sad, pathetic, ugly people will have just another reason to be jealous...of Vanity! Caelum: Strong words from a man who has only won one match. Hechilles: His first match of this new era, Torin! And I'm sure it won't be his last win of this era either. Vanity is going to go far!
Legends of the Ring vs. Gladiators of Aethra Brute defeated Omega with a DECAPITATOR at 1:46 Match Notes: Caelum: Traditional collar and elbow tie-up between Omega and Brute. Jockeying for position. Omega gets the upper hand and hits Brute with a forearm smash. It doesn't seem to phase Brute at all! Hechilles: Look at the way Brute towers over Omega. Founder of this company or not, there is no way Omega can face a man like that in this stage of his career. Caelum: Brute gabs Omega, sets him up and hits a Gladiator Piledriver! Then to add insult to injury, or maybe injury to insult, Brute locks in a Scorpion Deathlock trying to get Omega to submit! Hechilles: These Gladiators are not in a good mood tonight. Then again I don't think they are ever in a good mood. Caelum: Omega able to get to the ropes to force the break, but the damage may have been done. Brute picks Omega up and props him standing in the corner. Brute walks over to the opposite corner and lets out a huge cry. (Brute: FOR AETHRA!) Oh my God, DECAPITATOR to Omega! Brute covers. One...two...three. Its all over jut like that. Hechilles: Well the Gladiators aren't getting paid by the hour, that's for sure. (Brute shoves Omega out of the ring while Massacre gets the ringside mic.) Massacre: This. This is that fate of anyone who stands in our way. This is what will happen to any team who thinks they can claim what is rightfully ours! This is exactly how you will end up if you stand across from us in this ring. We will not be merciful. We will not be kind. We will reclaim our rightful place as Galaxian Tag Team champions. This tournament will change nothing. We have been, are now, and will always be the most dominant tag team in this galaxy! Because we are Aethrans, and WE ARE WAR! (Fans boo as Brute takes the mic.) Brute: For glory. For Honor. FOR AETHRA!
Star Warrior vs. Invincible Krakan Invincible Krakan defeated Star Warrior with a Krakan Skullcrusher at 13:41 Match Notes: Caelum: Invincible Krakan is gettting up in Star Warrior's face, Star Warrior doesn't seem phased by it. Invincible Krakan goes for an arm drag but Star Warrior counters it into a standing arm bar. Star Warrior keeps up the pressure on that standing arm bar but Krakan tries to kick Warrior in the knee. Warrior seems unphased, but does let the hold go. Warrior runs off the ropes and hits Krakan with a cross body block. Hechilles: Star Warrior showing off that agility he's been known for. Caelum: Star Warrior goes for a leg drop, but Krakan gets out of the way! Karakn grabs Star Warrior in a face claw, but Star Warrior shakes him off and shoots him into the turnbuckle. Krakan bounces forward and catches Star Warrior with a skull-splitting running lariat! Star Warrior goes down hard! Hechilles: Krakan showing why they call him Invincible. Caelum: Krakan goes for a face claw again, but Star Warrior counters with a neckbreaker. Warrior sends Krakan back into the turnbuckle and Krakan again lays Star Warrior out with a running lariat! Krakan with the cover. One...two...no! Star Warrior kicks out at two. Hechilles: Krakan is just immune to turnbuckles tonight! Caelum: Krakan picks Star Warrior back up. FALLING FACE SLAM! This could be it! Cover. One...two...NO! Star Warrior again kicks out at two! Hechilles: Star Warrior also showing some resilience tonight Maybe he isn't just riding his father's coat tails. Caelum: Definitely proving his pedigree, that's for sure. Karakn brings him back to his feet. Another FALLING FACE SLAM! Cover. One...two...NO! Star Warrior kicks out again! Krakan does not look happy. Both men on their feet again. ANOTHER FALLING FACE SLAM! Hechilles: This has to be it. Caelum: Cover. One...two...NO! Star Warrior kicks out of a third FALLING FACE SLAM! Krakan is visibly fuming and is now using an illegal choke hold on Warrior. Hechilles: Frustration will make you resort to some desperate measures, Torin. Caelum: Star Warrior able to break the choke hold and hits Krakan with a flying dropkick. Star Warrior follows that up quickly with a neckbreaker, then a cross body block, and another neckbreaker. Hechilles: Star Warrior building up some momentum. Caelum: Krakan shakes off that last neckbreaker and attempts a dropkick of his own, but Star Warrior sidesteps it and lands another neckbreaker. Another cross body block. Star Warrior tries to hit Krakan with a leg drop but Krakan is able to get out of the way. Krakan tries to kick Star Warrior in the face, but Star Warrior dodges and nails him with a standing dropkick. Hechilles: Star Warrior again using his greater agility to his advantage. Caelum: Another cross body block from Star Warrior. Warrior goes for a hip toss but Krakan blocks it. Krakan tries for a dropkick, but Warrior avoids it. Star Warrior tries for another hip toss and again Krakan blocks him, this time hitting Star Warrior with a reverse piledriver! Hechilles: Proof that both these men are incredible athletes. Caelum: Karkan sends Warrior into the ropes. Warrior comes off and Krakan ducks down and Star Warrior hits the ropes on the other side. Coming off those ropes and Krakan puts Warrior down hard with a running back elbow. And now Krakan is resorting to biting Star Warrior's forehead! Hechilles: More signs of the desperate offense Krakan is resorting too here. Caelum: Krakan sends Warrior into the ropes again but Star Warrior comes off with a powerful flying shoulder tackle! Star Warrior follows up with a Running Star Blast! He sends Krakan into the turnbuckle and this time it's Krakan who is crushed by a big kick from Star Warrior. Hechilles: Just a temporary lapse in Krakan's invincibility toward turnbuckles. Caelum: Star Warrior goes for a neckbreaker, but Krakan counters and turns it into a Krakan Skullcrusher! He goes for the cover. One...two...THREE! Krakan did it! He has guaranteed we will see a new Galaxian champion at the end of this tournament! Hechilles: And after that showing I will not be surprised if it is indeed going to be Invincible Krakan. Caelum: As Krakan celebrates his victory, we end this night of GWF excitement. Join us next week on Galaxy of Stars for more first round tournament action. For Hechilles, I'm Torin Caelum saying goodnight from the GWF!
