I like the Queens of Rampage a lot as a name. I’m not very good at coming up with my own names. A weak suggestion would be a play on the Loyalists and call them the Royalists. Of course they could be so full of themselves that they decide they have the right to change their team name according to their mood and go by several.

In my head I picture them doing a post match interview after winning the belts similar to how Strike Force did a pre-match interview before facing the Hart Foundation and named themselves.

Lady Godsend would exclaim how they are the queens of the tag division and Killer Queen would follow up bragging about how the Queens just went on a rampage through the four other teams en route to grabbing tag good. Boom. Queens of Rampage.

I do love your idea for the Royalists too though. Very clever.

Fight card #1668/8/2137

Nereid, Neptune Moon Dome (44,000)

The setting: Godsend becomes more popular by the day. His words and actions against the Gladiators is intoxicating. He has put the Dark Menace and the Aethran Overmaster in uncomfortable spots with open challenges. He has bullied Aethran Soldiers and humbled Paralyze. He has defeated Fist and pushed GWF Champion Siege to his farthest limits. Godsend is the hottest star in the GWF.

The show opens with Godsend already standing in the ring. He has the attention of the entire crowd. He declares that the winds of change are coming for the Gladiators. He motions his hand in the air and a large group of wrestlers head to ringside and surround the ring.

Castilex, Lady Godsend, Killer Queen, Exo-King, Death Knight, Tempest, Hyla, Ygorr, Krud and Overtime all surround the ring. Their attention is 100% on Godsend. Demon Godsend is the last man down the ramp, dragging behind the rest of the group. He is in a foul mood.

Godsend makes a subtle head tilt and all the wrestlers turn their attention away from him, do a 180 and face the ramp like an army protecting their leader.

Godsend speaks.

“Not everybody here sees eye to eye with each other. Some of them here don’t see eye to eye with me. But we have all decided to put our differences aside and fight as one against the Gladiators and for Castilex.”

Godsend dares the Gladiators to attack. After many tense moments, Godsend speaks some more.

“Nobody else could have pulled this off.” says Godsend. “Not Massif. Not Lord Nexus and certainly not Endgame.”

Godsend invites the rest of the GWF roster to join him in the fight against the Gladiators and awaits their answer.

Godsend and his growing legion of followers exit back up the ramp to a chorus of cheers from the crowd. Treated like heroes.

GLADIATOR CUP ROUND 1 MATCHES:

* FTR tag champs Mad Maxus beat Eugenics Project w MAXUS ATTACKS US.

* Titan Samurai defeat Better Than Human by DQ when Psi breaks up a pin attempt and doesn’t leave the ring by the 5 count. It’s a clumsy loss and Tharkas berates Psi after the match and walks off.

Godsend comes out to a roaring ovation. A grumpy Demon Godsend follows behind.

* Necros and Burning Man pull the biggest upset of the tournament so far, beating Completion w Burning Claw on Demon Godsend.

After the match the fans are booing and hissing at Demon Godsend, who remains winless in 2137.

The final match of round 1 features two feuding teams who will meet again soon at EVENT HORIZON - Evolved vs Shayne and the Basilisk.

* Shayne and the Basilisk crush Orrus and Tarval (4) EYE 4 EYE on Tarval.

GLADIATOR CUP ROUND 2 will take place on the next fight card:

Siege & Fist vs Mad Maxus

Castilex vs Royal Uprising

Mean Streets vs Titan Samurai

Shayne & The Basilisk vs Necros & Burning Man

* Tempest cruises past the Aethran Soldier (4) w HIGH TIDES.

* Overtime retains the GWF HEAVY METAL TITLE beating Paralyze (1) in a COSMIC CAGE MATCH w GRAVITY BOMB.

After the match OT says he doesn’t really care about liberating Castilex, but he admires the word of Godsend and relates to being misunderstood. OT feels like he can himself as Heavy Metal Champion. He blames Endgame and Lord Nexus for trying to make him a wrestler he is not.

* Fist dominates Death Knight (3)

MAIN EVENT

* Siege (6) is the luckiest guy in the galaxy somehow managing to retain the GWF GALACTIC TITLE beating Exo-King (1) w AETHRAN CRIPPLER.

Siege had no business winning this match and he knows it as he grips his title tighter than ever as we fade to black.

Aethra War Dome (155,000)

The setting: It’s a packed house on Aethra as we wrap up the Gladiator Cup!

In addition to that, a huge peace summit has been called by Commander Sam and Massif. Tonight they will meet Godsend face to face in the middle of the ring. Is Godsend being true and honest? Or is he as evil and distrustful as ever? Commander Sam and Massif intend to find out.

Endgame warns his allies to not fall for Godsend’s tricks and begs them to cancel the summit. But Commander Sam is insistent. “I’m not afraid of Godsend!” he boasts.

GLADIATOR CUP QUARTER-FINALS:

* GWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Siege & Fist squash FTR TAG CHAMPS Mad Maxus. SIEGE AND STORM, then after a pin save, AETHRAN CRIPPLER on Electric Axe (2).

The Gladiators head to the Semis.

* Royal Uprising score a monster upset out of nowhere beating Castilex when the always unstoppable Moog is pinned (snake eyes!) after Death Ride.

After the match the two teams shake hands. Castilex offers King and Knight good luck versus the Gladiators.

* Mean Streets take out Azuma w DOUBLE DISPATCH, sending Titan Samurai to the showers and themselves to the semi-finals.

* Shayne & the Basilisk crush Necros & Burning Man (2). EYE 4 EYE finishes Burning Man.

Godsend has agreed to the peace summit later tonight, but wants to speak privately to Commander Sam first. Godsend says he wants share his war plans to defeat the Gladiators with Sam. Godsend could use some tips from a leader like Sam he says. Massif says it’s probably okay but Endgame demands that Sam decline. His ego fully stroked, Commander Sam puffs out his chest and heads to Godsend’s throne/locker room alone.

GLADIATOR CUP SEMI- FINALS:

* The all Aethra crowd riots when GWF TAG CHAMPS Siege (3) and Fist (1) are disqualified outside of the ring brawling with Royal Uprising! Fist shoves the referee out of the way while beating on Death Knight and gets a stern warning. When he does it again the referee calls for the DQ! The champs are out!

The crowd is going absolutely crazy. It’s takes almost 30 minutes to control the crowd and get on with the action.

* Shayne (1) & the Basilisk defeat Mean Streets after Shayne’s Fury and SHOWDOWN against Skiver (3).

It’s Royal Uprising vs Shayne & Basilisk in the finals!

* HelSin (2) retains the GWF INTERPLANETARY TITLE beating Totalis (7) w BURIAL.

Commander Sam enters Godsend’s throne room. It is dark, lit only by candle light. The door closes behind him. Sam looks around for Godsend’s war plans and sees nothing. Suddenly he feels fear. The door is locked. Godsend appears from the shadows. “Old fool.” Godsend cracks Sam across the head with a goblet! Sam hits his head hard on the floor!

Godsend stands over a motionless Commander Sam. Blood pools under Sam’s head.

MAIN EVENT/GLADIATOR CUP FINALS:

* Royal Uprising makes history when Exo-King (4) submits the Basilisk (2) w DEATH VISE (+2) to win the GLADIATOR CUP.

Death Knight (5) and Shayne (4) fought outside of the ring and Basilisk passed out in the finisher.

Royal Uprising win the 2137 GLADIATOR CUP.

They are showered with trash from the angry and bitter Aethran crowd as they hoist the cup up high in victory.

The peace summit is about to start. Massif and Endgame are in the ring awaiting the arrival of Commander Sam and Godsend. There is a commotion in the back. Godsend is calling for help!

Massif and Endgame rush to the back where they find Godsend cradling a bloody and unresponsive Commander Sam in his arms.

“He just fell!” screams Godsend. “I tried to catch him but it happened so fast!”

Endgame: What did you do, demon!

Godsend: I tried everything I could to save him!

Medics do everything they can but it’s too late.

Commander Sam leaves the GWF for the final time as we fade to black.

I mean Sam is prolly in his late 80s so I'm sure everyone has prolly done everything for him at this point. I think he broke a hip and was put in a home in my fed in the late 2100s lol
