We’ve seen some interesting changes so far in 2134. The Castilex belts were introduced, and then bestowed rather than earned. The new Bigtime Championship solidifies that on any given day, any GWF - BIGTIME ENTERTAINMENT star could get their chance at greatness. The Deimos Perennial has been unceremoniously postponed. 8 fight cards are in the books, but we still don’t have an Interplanetary Champion or Galaxian Champion yet. Tonight, we witness yet another stunning development. In perhaps his only popular action to date, Commissioner Eydilon has created a new tournament for a new title, the Universal Championship - the title to rule all other titles. An athlete must have gained possession of another title already in order to secure their bid to the big show.

Godsend, sitting upon a throne, is carried to the ring by his royal entourage, his narcissism on full display. The crowd rains boos down on him.
LOPE vs. GODSEND
Lope is staggered by an Immaculate Enzuigiri. Godsend wins by pin following a slingshot catapult. 3*
AETHRAN OVERMASTER vs. DEMON GODSEND
Overmaster draws blood with ballistic headbutts. Aethran Overmaster wins by pin following a devastating REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER. 2*
Semifinals:
SUR vs. BEX
Very interesting match. There is no external tension or rivalry between these two Black Death partners; they are all business. Sur wins by pin after a Pinnacle Piledriver. 2*
GODSEND vs. AETHRAN OVERMASTER
Godsend wins by pin following a deadly KINGDOM COME. 2*
Those in attendance have a less than favorable response to the victory, and Godsend addresses them. He attempts to assure the masses that the Kingdom is here to bring “peace, harmony, and love to all.”
Final:
Before the last contest begins, Sur takes a moment to kneel before Godsend to show fealty. A booming voice, that sounds like it comes from everywhere and nowhere all at once, fills the air. “Fine... Begin!”

Godsend wears a crimson mask after getting victimized by a Black Death Brainbuster. Sur wins by pin when another Black Death Brainbuster seals the deal. Sur becomes the new Universal Champion! 3*

Thank you so very much for the comments, Pariah, on_the_edge, and Swarm! It makes all the difference in the world to me. After taking such a long break, playing but not posting prior to 2134, it’s nice to know people are reading and engaged.

Sur was quite a surprise! I did my best to show that he didn’t harbor any ill will towards Godsend. The dice don’t lie. Sur beat Monolith, his own tag partner, and Godsend to take the Universal Title! That’s really impressive to me! I’m just going to chalk that last match up to healthy competition and maybe even GODSEND will be pleased by the gamesmanship.
