Since this is the first time I've ever had a fed more than 3 cards (I have a bad case of COTG ADD) I thought it was time to rank my fighters. Here is what I have come up with....
1) Divide the fighters wins by their total fights (This will give you a percentage)
2) List highest to lowest win percentage
3) If some fighters are tied percentage wise rank by the quality of opponents they have beat.
4) Some new fighters (1-0) may be ranked unjustly high so use your descretion. I put them right under all the .5 rated guys.
What system do you guys use?

WINS / SUM (WINS+LOSSES+(FOTN or KO/SUB OTN/2) (FOTN = FIGHT OF THE NIGHT) (KO/SUB OTN = KO/SUB OF THE NIGHT) That is the formula for my percentage. I rank by top percentage, then by highest number of wins to break ties. If there is a tie after that I use the number of TKO's to break the second tie. I also sort fighters that have less than 3 fights from the rest of the group. If a new fighter has 3 fights & is 3-0, he will be facing my champion very soon. That is my system.

I give........
3 pts for a SUB win (hardest to achieve) 2 pts for a KO win 1 pt for a TKO
a fighter gets
- 3 for submitting - 2 for getting knocked out - 1 for getting TKO'd
This way guys points can go down as well as up depending what they do in the ring.
I use the same system for wrestling only TKO is CO.
Also title matches get a + 1 and special matches get a + 1 bonus.
So if Endgame defended his title in a Titan Death match and won by pin he would get 4 pts. 2 for pin + 1 title match and another + 1 for it being a special match. The loser would get - 4.

my system would be similar to KB's, but I'd make the Sub like +6 because it is hardest to achieve and should be the big difference maker in rankings!
I'd also go by the amount of matches and wins they've gotten.

Thanks for all the replies guys. This gives me some great ideas. What do you think about getting more points if you finish the fight early?
EX: +1 additional point for a 1st round KO/SUB

I'm just curious how a submission is "harder" to get? The majority of matches that Cypher fights for me end with submissions. Can someone explain how a SUB is harder to get than a KO?
A submission would be tougher for a striker to get than a grappler...but for those grapplers a KO is harder to get...so do submission grapplers get the bonus for KO's too?

I see what your sayin Eliath but all in all it is harder to get the SUB win IMO. A fighter not only has to take his opponent down (or at least get him into the clinch), hold him down (escaping back to to the feet is pretty common) and then submit him. Does that make sense?

Based on the way the cards are designed. All Stand Up attacks (L1O) will lead to to potential KO (unless you work some out to be a 'verbal submission). 99% of the clinch moves that go to L1D or L3D are throws or slams, and thus those lead to being knocked out. A few rare fighters have submission moves on their L2O (like Raze's guillotine choke, or Thayne's rolling kneebar) I tried ot give a mix of attacks for L3O, so that a submission guy like Cypher can still earn a KO (heel kick to kidneys) and a heavy striker can still earn a submssion (Rubicon's neck crank). So the number of submission possibilities is lower in general to the number of KO possibilities.
