I've bought 20 CAC slots and have put in the early classics so I can run 2074 though 2086 and then have a pre-history to join those sets coming out (War Games etc.)
Some Cards have text that doesn't seem to work with the current programming. I'll give a few examples and please comment if you have any advice on work arounds or know about future cards that have the same text that might fix them in future releases.
1) Trotarus and Cordsar have (+2) (pw)* or (+2) (ag)* on their finishers that add the opponents pw/ag to make the finisher better or worse. I just left them at (+2) since there is no modifier for this.
2) Ricken Prince has BOW TO THE PRINCE (+3) dis... I tried using some of the programming for (DQ/Roll) from the aCe wrestler, but it doesn't work in the regular sim... also tried just (DQ) but that doesn't seem to work. So I changed his finisher to 0 to weaken him and upped his normal DQ rating from 6 to 7 to try to get back some of his tendency to DQ himself. Not a great solution... but that's what I have so far...
3) K.O. Keller's move on l206 has Add1 text... thankfully this works just great!!
4) Blacklash from Classics 2074 has two finishers ... SUNDOWN (+2) singles... that modifier does not help.. it works in any match on the sim... and RUSTLER'S STAMPEDE (+3) tag. The sim does recognize this script and only allows the move in tag matches. As a result, I have used another CAC slot to create both a SINGLES version of Blacklash (the normal card) and a TAG version that takes out his sundown move and replaces it with simply Tombstone - 3. Not a great solution, but better than leaving it in, he would be too dominant in tags. Any advice on this would be great...
5) Solar Flare's PALADIN MISSILE (+2) (roll)* is roll one die, even means it works, odd, opponent takes over on lvl 3 offense. Any advice here? I just removed the roll script and made it a (0) move to weaken it slightly since it now has a 100% chance to hit.
Thanks... I love the CAC options and even if I have to live with a few limitations.... I thinks its great!!! I have all my cardstock cards scanned into full cards and head shots and would like to see the ability for me to upload Blacklash's face to go with his CAC card, even if that option is that ONLY I can see it, and not other promoters (to protect people from seeing art that may not be appropriate) I have used the art that is there for now... but with 20 CAC slots, I've pretty much used up all the options for male characters just on these first cards. As I go through 2076-2086... I'll have to figure out where I should buy more CAC's or re-use slots for wrestlers who have retired.
