Card #17 - Godsend Amphitheater


The opening is a quick review of the recent history between Predators and Death Dealers. Then a replay of Dark Menace's promo from last card.


Wolf beat Coven Black by KO in a Cygnus Brass Knuckles Match.


A brutal match where Wolf let loose and outshined Coven Black. At one point Wolf had Black in the Savage Face Claw for so long he drew blood. Coven Black's face was a crimson mask at the end of the match. Predators are up 1-0. Will Lope make it a sweep or can Necros even things up.


Demon Hunters defeated Natives w/Monolith via pinfall when Helsin hit Ygorr with an elbow off the top turnbuckle to become new Castilex Tag Team Champions.


The Natives were totally outclassed in this match. Unlike the last card Monolith did not get involved. After the match Ygorr looked questioningly over at Monolith who just shrugged his shoulders and walked off to the back.


A reminder that the next card's main event will be new GWF Universal Champion M defending against Sly Drury.


Lope beat Necros by KO in a Cygnus Brass Knuckles Match.


Lope tore into Necros from the opening bell. He was really showing his savage wild side. It looked like he was on his way to a dominating win when Necros made a comeback and hit Rising From The Grave. However the comeback did not last long as Lope got back to beating on Necros till Necros went down and did not get up. A clean sweep for Predators.


Sly Drury and Shayne walking in the back. They are talking about Sly's title shot and wondering who M is. Shayne says since there is an open slot tonight for a match due to Predators winning both of their matches maybe he will do another open challenge. They walk into their locker room and stop. Sitting in a folding chair is...Hector the Holy Brown Bear. Sly looks petrified. Shayne looks over at Sly to see what to do. When Shayne sees his friend's face he rushes at Hector and hits him on the side of the head. The bear head falls off and slides across the floor. Underneath it was a mannequin head. Shayne looked confused. He started pulling off the suit to reveal the whole thing was just a mannequin. Shayne said what the hell and looked over at Sly who seemed like he was about to have a nervous breakdown.


Godsend on the jumbotron and he announces since their is an open match Turmoil will defend the Castilex Hardcore Championship. His oponent will be Eydilon. He then says he is feeling whimsical so it will be a special condition match. He puts his hand in a bag and pulls out a piece of paper. He reads it and says it will be a Lepus Stun Rod Match.


Turmoil over Eydilon by pinfall in a Lepus Stun Rod Match to retain the Castilex Hardcore Championship.


Eydilon was in control early but Turmoil shook off his offense. The light flashed and Turmoil grabbed a stun rod and wacked Eydilon with it. Then Turmoil used his hardcore offense to wear Eydilon down before finishing him off with Total Turmoil.


Dominion beat Gladiators by submission when Sentinel put Probation away with Nightwatch.


Early on Dominion worked Fist over. They hit their tag finisher but Probation made the save. Fist kept fighting and made the tag. Probation with some offense but soon Dominion were back in control. Sentinel slapped on his finisher and Probation could not get out and he faded till the ref called for the bell. The Gladiators were not happy and after Fist revived his partner they attacked Dominion. It was a wild brawl that the first wave of security couldn't stop, they were knocked down for their effort, so a second and third group was sent down. Just when it seemed things had calmed down Moog yelled, "Vengeance was right, you guys ARE soft". That got things going again for a bit till security talked Dominion to go to the back.


Godsend defeated Tharkas by submission to retain his Castilex Heavyweight Championship.


Godsend came down with Vallah in his cage. Godsend started cocky and under estimated his opponent allowing Tharkas get in some offense. That just made Godsend mad. He used Blinded By Greatness and a bit after hit Kingdom Come. Tharkas kicked out to everyone's surprise. Now Godsend was really ticked off. He put on the Dextral Choke and would not let up till Tharkas had no option but to tap out

Ouch! Definitely a rough outing for my Vampire brothers... But, I really enjoyed the surprise appearance of the Holy Brown Bear (minus the Hector)... Looks like an intriguing angle... Lots of fun!

Ask Pariah to see if his Vampire brothers can help with that as poor Hector is dead. Vampire Teddy Bear? Sounds like a garage band.

Honestly, dunno if Hector is really dead......we all thought Epoch was dead after all......The Dark Menace (writer) works in mysterious ways.

Card #18 - Janus Star Center


To start the show we get a welcome video from the Operations Manager of Janus Star Center. She says everyone there is happy to have the GWF back as it's been a couple years since the last time they held a card there. She says tonight promises to be a fun, action packed night and wishes all the fans a good time.


Totalis over Captain Crossbones via pinfall.


A short match that saw Totalis in control almost from bell to bell. A Final Round finished the good Captain off.


We see Fist in back and an arena usher brings him a note. He reads it, looks a bit confused and shrugs his shoulders.


Black Death defeated Burning Hell by submission when Bex made Burning Man submit to Ground Zero.



A real good match between a couple top teams that sometimes get lost in the mix. Both teams made good tags and had their chances but in the end Black Death came out on top. After Bex made Burning Man tap he kept the hold on a bit longer to send a message. After finally breaking the hold, as Bishop Hell argued with the ref on one side of the ring, Black Death throw Burning Man over the top rope of the other side and he crashes to the floor by the entrance ramp.


The announcers say something is going on in the back and the jumbotron goes to a camera feed from somewhere in the back of the Star Center. We see Eydilon laid out on his front and Fist standing over him. Right then Dominion and Ghena walk up. They ask Fist why he did it and he says he didn't. Fist says he received a note to meet Eydilon here and just found him like that. Ghena calls him a liar and attacks him. Soon Dominion join in the beat down.


Suddenly Probation, Turmoil and Alpha Female run up to join the fight and save Fist. All seven wrestlers are tearing into each other. Meanwhile Black Death are leaning on the top rope watching and deciding if they should run back and help. Burning Man is starting to recover on the floor and Bishop Hell has noticed what is going on up on the jumbotron so he stops arguing with the ref and watches. That is when a large man hops the barricade behind them and slips in the ring. It's Splatter X and he's holding club! He whacks Hell in the back and shoves him into Black Death before quickly rolling out of the ring on he side and croutching low. Black Death think Hell jumped them from behind so they start attacking him. Burning Man sees what is happening to his tag partner and get in the ring to even the odds.


Splatter X slowly stands up and starts to casually walk to the back. A camera catches the words "little helper" woodburned into his club. As this is going on fans are having a hard time deciding where to place their attention, the action in back on the jumbotron or right there in the ring.


As Gladiators and Kingdom fight in back Demon Godsend and Lady Godsend join the brawl. Lady goes straight for Alpha Female and they are going at it as hard as the men. Moog and Probation are tangling with each other. Probation Spears Moog and both men crash thru a door into a dressing room. We see M in there with his back to the camera as he is putting his mask on. We did not get a clear look as to who he is. As he turns around to witness the carnage in front of him Sly Drury and Shayne run in and start attacking him. M is fighting off both men as Probation and Moog wrestle on the ground, each man trying to get on top of the other for an advantage.


Back to the ring camera where we see Death Dealers coming down to help their Black Hearts teammates in their fight with Black Death. The four men start wearing down the Kingdom members when there is a loud howling sound and Preadtors come racing down the ramp. The crowd pops loudly as Wolf and Lope are not here to save Black Death but to simply get their hands on the Vampires. Soon as both men get in the ring the Death Dealers turn their attention to them. Lope squares off with Necros while Wolf gets Coven Black. Meanwhile Bishop Hell nails Bex square in the face with Hellfire. Bex is rolling around on the mat in pain.


We cut to the causeway of the Center where fans getting food or souvenirs find the wild action has spilled out to them as Alpha Female and Lady Godsend are slugging it out. Lady Godsend grabs a beer and throws it in Alpha's face. Security are trying to hold rabid fans back as the two women do battle. Alpha grabs Lady by the hair and slams her head repeatedly into a souvenir stand then picks her up and powerbombs her thru the table. The Gladiator was not done there as she grabbed a t-shirt and started choking Lady Godsend with it.


Another cut and we see Sentinel and Turmoil wailing on each other with kendo sticks. As they make their way down a hallway we come across Monolith and Aethra Overmaster exchanging fisticuffs. The camera pans to them to watch that action. Monolith grabs Overmaster and throws him down the hall. Three security men run up and get between them. Since Overmaster is on the grown trying to recover they mostly face Monolith with their arms extended in a stop motion. Monolith just grins, takes a couple steps back and then charges taking all three out with a spear.


Back to the fight that started it all. Of course it's now just Demon Godsend and Ghena working over Fist as the rest have fought off in different direction. We see medical staff attending to Eydilon and as camera pans we see Blue Chip watching. Chip is wisely staying out of the farcass. Unfortunately for him we see Super Powers walking up behind him. They point at him, look at each other, nod their heads and rush to jump him from behind. As they are punching and kicking him Murtak stumbles back into Ghena who turns around and lays Murtak out with a viscous clothesline.


In the ring once more and Wolf has Coven Black busted open again and blood is flowing freely. Necros and Bishop Hell are double teaming Lope who looks hurt pretty bad and Burning Man is punching it out with Sur on the ramp.


We find another fight as Mean Steets and Security Squad are going toe to toe near the crafts table. As they fight Better than Human are helping themselves to the catering, watching the action and laughing. At first the Martial Law teammates are oblivious to them. Then Patch hears them, stops slugging Code Breaker and looks over at them. He motions toward them to Destroyer who nods. Both Patch and Destroyer pull their tag mates off the others tag mate and talk to them while motioning to Better than Human who have gone back to eating. All four Martial Law teammates charge at the bystanders and start beating them down while the food goes flying.


Another shot of M's locker room where half a dozen or so security personal have M separated from Sly and Shayne even as all three men keep trying to get at each other. The camera goes out to the hallway where Sinful is tearing into Elina. The Vampire mistress has seemed to bust the GWF Ladies Champion open as some blood is flowing down her face. Euritar runs up and gets between the women trying to end the fight. It seems to have worked as Sinful stops her assault as the champ tries to recover and wipes blood from her face. Then seemingly out of nowhere Splatter X walks up and hits Euritar on his head with "little helper". Splatter X jumps on him and is running his barb wired wrapped forearm on Euritat's forehead, cutting him open. As blood starts to flow Sinful watches for a bit then she lunges at Elina again.


Once again we see the ring as it's been flooded with security and staff trying to end the fights. The PA announcer makes a statement "due to the out of control situation the rest of the card has been canceled. We at the Janus Star Center apologize for this inconvenience and ask you call our ticket offices tomorrow to ask for either a full refund or credit for a ticket for when, and IF, the GWF return to the Star Center. We please ask you to calmly exit the center. Have a good night and be safe going home". While most fans start moving to the exits some are trying to get closer to the ring to watch the action. Ushers are coming down to round them up and move them toward the exits. We get camera shots of the different brawls and we see destruction, mayhem and bloodied, bruised, tired wrestlers

Beneath The Mat


Eydilon released a press release/video that went to news outlets and on their web site. He discussed the Sun Center Throwdown, as it has come to be known, and ramifications. He said he has no recollection of the attack on him. Nor did he send a note to Fist. The GWF and he will be reviewing security footage once it is released to them following the investigation by the Sun Center and local authorities. There will be numerous fines but that information will not be released as per contract and CBA. Following is a list of injuries and suspensions.


Injuries:

Euritar - 2 cards

Sly Drury - 2 cards

The suspension of Splatter X is of note as it may be the first time a wrestler was suspended before making their official debut.



In other injury news it is being reported that Paralyze is almost ready to return. A rumor going around is one or more of the Gladiator team think he should not come back due to his age and this injury is proof of that. However Aethra Overmaster has gone on record that since they are at war with the Kingdom it's all hands on deck.


When reached for comment on why he came out with the Natives and helped them Monolith said, "The boys decided we needed to send a message to Godsend that he needs to keep things at least semi fair and the Natives were the symbol of that. Besides, it pissed him off". After that comment he walked off laughing.

Okay, so, we have to talk about the craziness at that last card. I mean, was it a full moon? Yeah, crazy. So crazy!

Actually, I’m a little speechless. What a mess! So much so, in fact, that I literally laughed out loud when you gave us the breakdown on BTM.

I’m stoked to see what the future holds for Splatter X, and dang it, I still have no idea who M is.

Thanks for reading and the comments. The brawl was inspired by a GWN flashback on Impact. It was a brawl involving multiple factions and feuds that took place in the ring, in the back and outside of the studio at Universal. So I took that, looked at my fed as the unscripted sport it is and added a dash of bench clearing fights in MLB wondered what it might look like and this is what it created. A bunch of men and women full of aggression who don't like each other gathered together and just needing the spark to unleash the fire inside of them.
