GWF commissioner Eydilon held a press conference on Castilex to kick off the new year.
Eydilon: First off we will be holding four cards every month with a PPV every two months. More info on the names of the PPVs will come later but we will be keeping the annual biggest PPV in June, Battle Among The Stars.
Second all GWF titles are vacant. They and all former champions are part of the past. A period now known as BG, Before Godsend. The future in now and will be known as GE, the Godsend Era. The first card will consist of matches to crown new champions. For this one card managers, bodyguards and allies will be banned from ringside so we get truer winners. The winner, however they get it, will be crowned champion. The matches will be,
GWF Universal Champion - Aethra Overmaster vs. Monolith
GWF Intergalactic Champion - Shayne vs. Totalis
GWF Ladies Champion - Elina vs. Scorn
GWF Universal Tag Team Champions - Gladiators vs. Predators
GWF TV Champion - Kill Prey vs. Perfect Specimen
The card will be held at Deimos Intergalactic Arena and will be the last card held there as it is past it's prime. The second card will be held at the far superior Godsend Amphitheater here on Castilex. Matches will be announced later but the main event will be,
Godsend vs. Sly Drury in a title match for the prestigious Castilex Heavyweight Championship
Lastly I said last year that a new galaxy order was on it's way. Well it's here and now fans can show their love for it. (with that two banners were unrolled behind him. Both were black with red lettering. While both had the "nGo" logo, one said "new Galaxy order" under it and the other said "new Godsend order" under it). Now go to the merchandise stands and buy your shirts.
* speculation is Sly Drury was upset he did not get a GWF title match, especially for Universal championship, and that to appease him Godsend gave him the title match but some think Godsend is using their match to show up Sly and put him in his place. Time will tell.

Great looking start! GWF Universal Champion - Aethra Overmaster vs. MonolithGWF Intergalactic Champion - Shayne vs. Totalis GWF Ladies Champion - Elina vs. Scorn GWF Universal Tag Team Champions - Gladiators vs. Predators GWF TV Champion - Kill Prey vs. Perfect SpecimenThanks. The start almost didn't happen. I was almost done typing it and my tablet flipped in my lap and it closed the window somehow. I was frustrated but began again and it was for best as I put things in different order and liked it better. Then I went to save and the board logged me out so it wouldn't post. Had to copy and paste which was fine but it messed up the coding so after posting I had to do a bit of editing. But it all worked out in the end. As for the card I will post tomorrow. Let's just say a few matches did not turn out how I thought they would.

Card #1 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena
The show kicks off with a nearly five minute video package showing the best highlights from matches held at Deimos Intergalactic Arena. It included a who's who of GWF talent from Alpha to Omega. When it ended the crowd gave a standing ovation to show respect for the Arena's history. Then it was time for the opening match.
Kill Prey defeated Perfect Specimen via pinfall.
Kill Prey became new GWF TV Champion in a decent opening match. Things started off slow as both men were feeling each other out. Then Spec got on a roll. However he soon came off the tracks when he went to spear Prey in the corner but Prey moved and Spec crashed hard and spilled to the outside. After that Kill Prey dominated most of the action before getting the win.
Elina defeated Scorn by pinfall.
A decent match that saw Elina become new GWF Ladies Champion.
A short video from Eydilon reminding fans that the next card will be on Castilex. Godsend will defend against Sly Drury. Also The Three will be in action against Titan Samurai and Faller in a non title match. Lady Godsend will put her title on the line vs. Catfight and Hardcore Champion Demon Godsend will do battle with Paralyze with the title on the line. There will be two more matches including a friend against friend Castilex special.
Gladiators defeated Predators via pinfall when Probation pinned Wolf.
This match almosted ended early as the ref came close to DQing Probation. Luckily for the fans he held back and this did not rob them of an early MotY candidate. The match ended up being a long back and forth war. Numerous times it seemed each team would pick up the win only to have their opponent kick out or be saved. Probation even got out of Wolf's legendary Claw. In the end the Gladiators came out on top but something tells us this is not the end for these two teams. Gladiators are the new GWF Universal Tag Team Champions.
After a commercial break we see Predators in back talking to Monolith. Wolf tells him he has to beat the Overmaster as the Aethrans can not have all the top gold. Monolith simply says, "I will" and then walks off.
Shayne defeated Totalis by pinfall.
The match started off as a back and forth affair as each man countered the others offense. Totalis started putting some offense together and was in control till Shayne's Fury kicked in. After that it was all Shayne. Total is put up a good fight but it wasn't enough this night. Shayne is your new GWF Intergalactic Champion.
Monolith defeated Aethra Overmaster via pinfall.
After the tag team battle fans were hot for this match of seven footers. Sadly it was a short match. Overmaster went for an early pin to no avail and shortly after Monolith hit his finisher and just like that he became the new GWF Universal Champion. Needless to say this did not sit well with the Aethrans as the Gladiators ran down and helped Overmaster give Monolith a post match beat down. It wasn't long before Predators ran down to even the odds. All six men brawled even after security flooded the ring side area to try and separate them.

Card #2 - Godsend Amphitheater
The show starts with flashing, soundless lightning in the sky. Then a great procession leading into the Amphitheater as Godsend, Lady Godsend and Demon Godsend sitting on thrones were carried at the front and set in a special viewing area. It seems that even though all have matches tonight they will not be back in the locker room getting ready but here watching the action up close and personal.
Godsend stood up to adress the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Castilex and the Godsend Amphitheatre, the greatest home for professional wrestling in the universe." He paused for the fans to applaud before continuing. "You are in for a great night of action. Next week will also be great as the main event will be Monolith defending his title in a rematch from last week against Aethra Overmaster. And that card will be held on...Aethra. Now, let the fun begin."
Super Powers defeated Natives when Disciple of Terror pinned Ygorr.
Pretty much a one sided match where Krud never tagged in. Godsend did not look pleased.
Paralyze defeated Demon Godsend via pinfall.
A solid brutal match. Demon was in control for most of the match till things spilled to the outside of the ring. Paralyze took control and picked up the upset victory. Godsend was very upset but Lady Godsend whispered in his ear and he calmed.
A promo for next weeks card from the Warrior Village Coliseum on Aethra. The main event will be a title match between Monolith and Aethra Overmaster. Other matches include tag action between Dominion (Moog & Sentinel) and FDF Tradition (Tank Mortar & Climber) and title match between Kill Prey and Euritar.
The Three beat Titan Samurai & Faller when Sur pinned Faller.
Ghana started for his team and quickly gained control till he seemed to have a spasm and went thru a reversion to his past self. One moment he was looking nobel and in control and the next he was back to his crippled self. Things were a bit more even for a short time but eventually TheThree, mostly thanks to Black Death, took over and got the non title match win.
A promo for next months PPV, Upheaval. It will include the Big Bang Battle Royal where the winner of the over the top rope 20 man battle royal will get a title shot of their choice before the next PPV.
Godsend got up and said it was time for the special friend against friend match. The crowd was all a flutter talking about who it would be. Lights went down and a spot light hit the entrance. Out came Patch and Skiver, the tag team of Mean Streets and members of Martial Law. Seeing Sly Drury is in a title match with Godsend this seems a calculated move. Both men slowly walked to the ring side by side. Neither wanted to get ahead of the other as if worried the other would jump them from behind. When they get in the ring and start to face off Godsend said, "now time for their opponents" and the fans gasped by this twist. The spotlight hit the entrance again and out walked Code Destoyer and Overtime, the team of Security Squad and also members of Martial Law. Yes this was all part of a plan. Once all four men are in the ring Overtime motions for Patch to lay down supposedly to let himself be pinned. Patch looks back at his partner, they share a smirk and small laugh then Patch turns around to hit Overmaster thus starting the match.
Mean Streets defeated Security Squad when Patch pinned Code Destoyer.
All four men slugged it out as expected. After the match Mean Streets tried to shake hands with their faction mates but the Security Squad wasn't having it. Looks like Godsends experiment is off to a rousing start.
Catfight beat Lady Godsend by pinfall.
In yet another set back for Castilex Lady Godsend lost her title. So much for home field advantage as the home team is 0-3 today. Godsend was fuming and soon as Sly Drury entered the ring for the main event Godsend rushed the ring and attacked him.
Godsend defeated Sly Drury by pinfall.
Early on Godsend's anger hurt him as Sly controlled most of the action. Then Demon Godsend used Cover of Darkness to attack Sly. Godsend almost got the pin there. He followed up with Kingdom Come and got the three count to retain his title and save a little face today. He stood tall over Sly, holding his title high in the air as the show ended

I 'really' like the GE (GODSEND ERA), new beginning, concept! Very innovative sir... BG is irrelevant and ancient history, nothing matters but GODSEND's now and future. Though, the more things change the more they stay the same. MONOLITH MONOLITH MONOLITH MONOLITH MONOLITH MONOLITH MONOLITH
