Beneath The Mat
GWF has released the schedule for the rest of their PPVs. The next one of course will be Cosmic Chaos. Two months after that is the big one, Battle Among The Stars. Then it will be the Omega Cup with it's one day singles tournament. It was announced the winner will get a title shot for the GWF Universal Championship. That will be followed by Halloween Havoc and to finish the year, End of Days.
Godsend was at a GWF promotion event. He was walking around with two beautiful ladies on each arm. When a reporter approached him about reports of his appearences on Aethra this was his answer. "My business is my business. You will find out about it IF I want you to know and then it will be WHEN I want you to know." With that he walked off with his entourage ignoring further questions.
So far there is no info on the recent addition to the GWF roster, M. He made his debut at the Upheaval PPV and was added to the number one contender tournament. Yet there seems to be no record of him in any other company before that. It is believed he was under a different name in some small company and created this character for performing in GWF.

Very cool to see an event named after End of Days... Is this an intentional tribute by Godsend?
The mysterious M continues to draw attention and I do have a thought about his possible identity... Fun stuff!

Fun stuff! Thank you. I wish I could say that was the case about End Of Days but that was a name for one of my PPVs from a fed I ran years ago. It was held in December and was an ending for some feuds but not all. It tapped into whole end of year and new year being a fresh start. Depending where the dice lead it might still go that way. Plenty of time for me to decide. |

Card #8 - Pollux Starfire Arena
The show kicks off with the opening match as both teams are in the ring.
Security Squad beat FDF Tradition via pinfall after Code Destroyer hit Eat Crow on Tank Mortar.
A good opening match that saw Destroyer get away with one. Climber tried to make the save but Overtime stopped him.
Murtak the Merciless busts into Eydilon's commissioner's office yelling up a storm. He is complaining about not being in the number one contender tournament. Eydilon says yes he knows Murtak is upset. He got his voice mails. And emails. And texts. And tweets. Heck he is surprised there was not a plane with a banner flying over. Regardless Eydilon found an opponent...worthy, of Murtak and if Murtak can beat him he will be considered for a title shot. That match is next.
Murtak matches happily down to the ring waving his flag as he goes. He gets in the ring and jogs around inside of the ring all smiles then stops dead in his tracks when his opponents entrance music starts. The music of Monolith. Murtak turns toward the entrance and looks like he will be sick.
Monolith beat Murtak by submission.
Needless to say this was a short match. Before long after the bell Monolith hit a couple Crushing Stampedes thanslapped I Will Break You on for a quick submission.
M over Tharkas by submission to advance in number one contender tournament.
Tharkas started hot but M quickly turned things around and won with a Figure Four.
Godsend video was next. He had a couple announcements. First was that at the upcoming PPV, Cosmic Chaos, the Castilex Tag Team Champions Dominion will defend their titles in a Three Way Dance. Two men will be in the ring at a time and can tag any one in they want. It will be to the first fall and the champion does not have to be the one to take the fall to lose their titles. The Two challengers will be Mean Streets and Security Squad. It will be an entertaining match and a chance for Dominion to show they are the best tag team.
Speaking of chances as Godsend is a benevolent and loving king he will be giving one wrestler an amazing chance. Next week the card will be back on Castilex and a lucky wrestler will face three straight opponents. If they win all three matches they will earn a shot at the Castilex Heavyweight Championship at a later time. If they do not win all three but can have a good showing they might still earn the title match. And who is this special wrestler you are asking. Why it's none other than the Aethran Paralyze. See you next week big guy. Don't disappoint me.
Shann-Ra over Catfight by pinfall.
A solid match that saw Shana-Ra's power to be too much for Catfight this night.
It was time for the main event and the crowd was excited.
Predators defeated Vampire Legends via pinfall when Lope powerbombed Necros onto an overturned beer cart.
The Legends were in the ring when Predators came running down. Lope went for Necros while Wolf went for Coven Black. These pairings never switched in what was a wild and brutal match. They started brawling in the ring, poured out to ring side and finished out in the arena. A few highlights.
- Coven Black and Wolf climed up a level in the seating section and Black tossed Wolf over the railing onto luckily empty seats. The only thing keeping the match from ending there is it took so long for Black to get down there to attempt the pin.
- Lope and Necros fought to the back of a concessions stand. Lope pushed Necro's face into a sink of water. Necro's was trying to fightitoffas he hand on hand on side of sink and other inside of it. Necro was under water for a bit before he was able to kick backwards nailing Lope between the legs. This caused Lope to release his hold. Necros came up holding a baking pan and he hit Lope over the head with it.
- Wolf and Coven Black tore into each other in the men's room. Wolf applied the Savage Face Claw. While he did not get the win he did bust Black open as blood flowed down his face.
- Lope threw Necros into a beer cart knocking it onto his side. He then powerbombed the vampire onto the cart for the win. After he stood on top of the body of his defeated opponent and let loose an animalistic howl to end the show

That was truly an exciting main event... And even though I would have preferred a win for my Vampire brothers, it was a pleasure to watch that action unfold...
Very cool that M was able to advance in the top contenders tournament... Unfortunately, that finish did not supply any clues to his identity (at least, not for me)...
Another excellent show!

Card #9 - Godsend Amphitheater
We begin the show with another video of beautiful scenes from Castilex including a well attended Godsend-con, a festival of people celebrating all things Godsend and included many either cosplaying as one of his forms or wearing the different nGo t-shirts.
Bishop Hell beat Totalis via pinfall to advance in the number one contender tournament.
One would think the tournament master would be favored in this tournament but he got upset here. It was back and forth till Hell used Burning Claw to inflict pain to get the pin. After the match Hell beat down Totalis till personal got him to stop and leave.
Next week will be from Aethra and the Warrior Village Coliseum and will include the last opening match in the number one contender tournament between Epoch and Perfect Specimen. Aethra Overmaster will be making his first appearance since winning the GWF Universal Championship.
Sinful defeated Lady Godsend via pinfall to become the new Castilex Ladies Champion.
This was a long and brutal match as it went back and forth with both coming close to winning. In the end Sinful used Life Blood to use Queen of the Realm for the pin. Of course she probably didn't need to use Life Blood for that but it is moot.
Godsend and Demon Godsend make their first appearance as they come out to an almost complete standing ovation. They take their seats in the VIP section and Godsend announces Paralyze. Then he announces his first opponent...Bex.
Paralyze over Bex via pinfall.
This was a brutalmatch. Early on it seemed Bex would get an easy win. However Paralyze fought back. He hit numerous Heart Stoppers to no avail. Then momentum was back on Bex's side before Paralyze took it back, hit a Gladiatore Piledriver and got the win.
Paralyze tried to rest and catch his breath when Sur came out. It seemed he was back to normal as his Reversion ended.
Paralyze beat Sur by pinfall.
Paralyze rode the momentum from his first match as this ended up being a short match. It was all Paralyze and before long he hit Torture Drop and got the three count.
Next to come down, to no surprise, was Ghena. The leader of The Three got in the ring, walked up to Paralyze and simply kicked him in the crotch. Paralyze fell to his knees in great pain as the ref watched from the corner of the ring. Ghana rolled out of the ring, grabbed a chair and climbed back in. He cracked it three times on Paralyze's back. He then rammed it into the back of his right leg. He laid the chair down, picked up Paralyze and performed a brainbuster onto the chair. Ghana started to place Paralyze's left leg in between the chair when Godsend stood up and proclaimed "That is enough. The intermission is over. Time for Paralyze to meet his third opponent".
With that Ghena took the chair and left the ring. There is a loud booming sound from the back. Then another. The crowd crane their necks to see who it is. Unfortunally the little light from back coming thru the entrance gets blocked by a vehicle. Then to the shock of many the vehicle takes a booking step forward. Then another. That is not a vehicle but a large person. A very large person. Larger than anyone in GWF. He comes thru the entrance and it's someone not seen in a long time and thought to be dead. End Of Days!!!
End of Days destroyed Paralyze by pinfall.
By the time Days got in the ring and the bell rang Paralyze just started to stir. Days pounded on his worn out opponent, hit Unlimited Power and got an easy victory.
After the match Godsend and Demon Godsend came down and got in the ring as End Of Days slowly returned to the back. Demon Godsend helped Paralyze to his feet. Godsend shook his hand. "Well done sir, well done. You entertained me so you have earned a title match at a later time. Congratulations." He turns to leave then stops and looks over his shoulder. "Oh by the way, it's a later time." At that Godsend laid him out with a clothesline from behind then motions for ref to start the match. The ref calls for the bell.
Godsend beat Paralyze to retain his Castilex Heavyweight Championship.
The match, if you want to call it that, consisted of Godsend picking up the limp body of Paralyze, hitting Kingdom Come and then leisurely laying over Paralyze for the win. Godsend got up and wiped his brow as if he just had a tough fi guy t. Then he looked down at the laid out Paralyze, acted shocked and worried then waved for help in the back. It was such mocking action. Medical staff came running out. They checked on Paralyze while Godsend pretended to look on with concern all while Demon Godsend chuckled. The show ends with Paralyze in a neck brace being taken out on a stretcher. Right before they roll him out of the ring Godsend says, "One last thing", he leans in close to make sure Paralyze can hear him and so he can see his reaction, "Vengeance sends his regards".

Amazing show. Godsend-con lol. Paralyze getting thru 2 of the 3 was better than I thought he’d do and then Godsend clowns Paralyze. What ensued very entertaining, but idk if Godsend wants to show his face on Aethra after what just happened.

Totally awesome that my Vampire sister was able to take the belt from Lady Godsend... And I thoroughly enjoyed watching Godsend toy with Paralyze... The closing statement was priceless... Very nice work!
