Hey on_the_edge! Outstanding stuff my friend. Just caught up from card 212 to the present. This just totally reminds me that I must pick up the most recent COTG set. You're right ups are tremendous. And that incident with Helsin at the end of card 212 - masterpiece! Thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated. As far as Helsin incident I wanted to do something dark and s I was thinking of this with his history with Double Cross I realized it could tie into the history of Double Cross/Crossfire and The Tall Man who over time has had his own story evolve. So for me it all flowed nicely together. The story is still unfolding and I'm taking a look on how else I might tie the Future into the past. Thanks for following.

Card #215 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena
The show begins with Double Cross and End of Days V standing in the ring. End has each of his tag titles on each of his shoulders. Cross has both of his tag titles around his waist, the Universal Championship on his left shoulder and a mic in his right hand.
Double Cross: I apologize in advance if we are blinding you with all our gold. For those that do not know not only am I double tag champion but...and NEW Universal Champion, Double Cross. The GWF landscaped has changed. Before people talked about this faction or that faction. The Kingdom. Empire of Fear. Death Council. Even old ones like Gladiators, Animen, Titans and FDF. Wait, is there still an FDF team. (He looks back at End who just shrugs his shoulders.) Eh it doesn't matter. The fact is the most powerful group is a two man outfit and you are looking at them. I'm collecting so many titles I might change my name to the Collector. No one has ever collected at this level.
Suddenly the entrance music for Totalis plays and he and his manager M.H. Henry come out to the stage.
Totalis: Slow your row champ. The bar has been set for belt collectors has been set and you are looking at him. (He gestures to three belts around his waist, then two on his shoulder and finally the two that Henry is caring.) The saying might be eight is enough but for me it's just the next level on my way to bigger numbers. So how about you put that Universal title on the line tonight so I can make it eight belts in MY collection?
Double Cross: How about...no. But I do have an idea. Me and End are required to defend our GWF Tag Team Championship soon. So how about you find someone that can stand you and we have a tag title match tonight?
Totalis: (Looks at Henry and they smile.) Fine. You are on. See ya later tonight.
Nightmare and Sir Nexas w/Maramus beat The Sea Team w/King Tux by pinfall.
In a bizarre sight The Sea Team came out in new matching wrestling outfits. They were light blue with dark blue trim. The most unusual thing was they were wearing masks. As if we didn't know who they were.
Plethador and Sir Nexus began. Some back and forth the led to Plethador gaining the upper hand. A decent pin attempt led to a two count. Knowing he was in trouble Nexus made a leap to his corner and made the tag. Nightmare tore into Plethador. Maramus walked over and pulled Nexus off the apron. This got the ref's attention and he came over to yell down at Maramus. Then Nightmare came over to see what happened. With that Cephalopodis slipped in the ring, rolled Plethador to the corner and then lied down in the middle of the ring.
Maramus returned to his teams corner and the ref and Nightmare focused back to the ring. They both looked confused. Nightmare gestured to Cephalopodis. The ref nodded and talked to him pointing to the corner. It seems the ref, nor anyone else, was not falling for it. The ref started to count and Cephalopodis got up and dragged Plethador back into the ring.
A bit later Nightmare tossed Plethador out of the ring and went to do a suicide dive. He crashed and burned after Plethador moved. Plethador got back in the ring and tagged out. For a bit Cephalopodis had the advantage. He even hit his finisher. It did not last long and Nightmare rocked him with a couple finishers of his own. Nightmare tagged Nexus back in and soon he hit The Apex and got a hard fought victory.
We get a highlight package from BATS V. One of the shots was Perfect Specimen being rolled out on a gurney by The Tall Man's gravers followed by some members of Death Council. It is mentioned no one has seen Perfect Specimen since. Officials are trying to get info on what happened after his match.
Ophidian over The Loyalist by pinfall.
This match was all Ophidian. He wore the Kingdome member down. He kept applying his Death Grip and finally while not tapping The Loyalist laid down and the ref counted three. The Loyalist must have been in such pain he didn't realize what was going on.
We see MG7000 getting ready for his interview with Helsin. Then a promo for the next PPV Omega Cup.
Tauran beat Lope by pinfall.
The latest chapter in the ongoing war between the Vampires and the werewolves. A good battle between the two for the first couple minutes. Then Tauran started to give more then he took. He had Lope in trouble. A Vampire Blood Drop led to a close two count. Not to be deterred Tauran lifted Lope and hit another Vampire Blood Drop and that was the end of the match.
It is time for MG7000's interview with Helsin. We got to a small room where both men are sitting in nice chairs across from each other.
MG7000: Thank you for being here. Let's get right to it shall we. Why did you try and shoot Double Cross?
Helsin: Let's get one thing straight first. I was using tranquilizing darts. I was trying to make him unconscious, not kill him. OK? My plan was to render him unconscious then turn him over to The Tall Man to be removed from this dimension and time line. He is an abomination that has resulted in the arrival of The Tall Man and Infinity-Plex. The quicker we remove Cross and the like the sooner they can leave and things get back to normal. The Death Council will be done and no more threats to our time and the people who are supposed to be in it.
MG7000: Now you said something interesting. You said "Cross and the like". Who else are you referring to?
Helsin: Anyone not from this place in time and space. Once I finish my therapy and get cleared to return to full time action I will be targeting Cross and all like him. Not using a gun of course. It will be taken care of in the ring. But it will be taken care of. You can trust me on that.
MG7000: Well once again thank you for your time. Good luck going forward with everything.
Helsin: Thank you MG.
Moonlight w/Catfight and Shann-Ra beat Chameleon by pinfall.
In a bit of a surprise Chameleon controlled most of the action in this match. If not for Moonlight's power this match might have ended early and differently. While getting little offense Moonlight still pulled out the win. Chameleon tossed Moonlight into the corner. Moonlight bounced out and blasted Chameleon with a spear. That was enough for the win.
The Hunting Party got in the ring after the match. Catfight handed Moonlight a mic.
Moonlight: I slayed this lizard. Now we are on to bigger game. It's Cosmic Woman season.
She dropped the mic and the three left the ring.
Totalis and Demon w/M.H. Henry over Double Cross and End of Days V by pinfall in a GWF Universal Tag Team Championship match to win the titles.
Totalis was fired up from the opening bell and had Cross back on his heals. After a couple minutes, and one pin attempt, Totalis tagged out. Demon kept the offense going. He hit Cover of Darkness but Cross kicked out at one. This seemed to anger Demon. He pounded Cross some more then hit Cover of Darkness again. This one seemed to take a lot out of him. As he made the cover End started to come in to make the save. Totalis ran in and rolled at End's legs to stumble him thus preventing the save. The ref was distracted delaying the count giving Cross time to kick out at two. As the ref tried to get an angered End out of the ring Totalis grabbed one of his titles from Henry and he blasted Cross with it. Then he got in his corner so the ref could see Demon tag him in. Some quick offense followed by a Final Round and he made the pin.
Totalis rolled to the floor right after the three and grabbed both tag belts. He handed Demon his and they hastily retreated up the ramp with their manager. They stopped on the stage to celebrate as End of Days V glared at them. Constellation Incorporated have more gold and Totalis is a double champion in GWF.

Card #216 - Triton Pavilion
A video of Totalis and M.H. Henry arriving earlier in the day. They are sporting numerous title belts. It is pointed out that Totalis has won a title on the last two cards but has no scheduled match tonight. Thus it won't be a third straight card with a title win.
Bishop Hell over Mayham by pinfall.
The announcers point out Mayham is by himself as he doesn't have his E.G.G. with him. Hell practically laughed at Mayham as the match started. The Animan got in a few licks before Hell had enough and went to work. It was a short match ending in Hellfire. One announcer said "it's barbeque time". The other said "that's in bad taste". The first one said "I wouldn't know as I haven't tried it yet but yea he doesn't look tasty now that you mention it".
Commisioner Eydilon is in his office, bent over his desk, reading paperwork when Cosmic Woman, sporting both ladies titles, walks in.
Eydilon: Ah yes you asked for an appointment to talk about something. So refreshing that someone does things properly. So let me guess. You want to discuss the Hunting Party.
Cosmic Woman: No. I will deal with them on my own when I decide I want to. I'm here about something much bigger.
Eydilon: (Straightens up and then sits back in his chair.) OK. You have my attention. What is it?
Cosmic Woman: I have proven I am the best lady wrestler. Now I want to prove I am one of the best wrestlers period. I want in the Omega Cup.
Eydilon: (Looks surprised.) Wow. That IS big. I will have to check with GWF officials but I think it's very likely we can make that happen. I will let you know our answer soon. Cosmic Woman: Thank you sir. All I want is a chance.
Kenji over Ophidian w/UltraMantis Black via submission.
Kenji was trying to get back on the winning track after some losses to Tauran. Meanwhile Ophidian was trying to build on a recent win and continue the Death Council's wins against Kenji. As it was Kenji simply dominated the match. He used both of his finishers early and Ophidian survived. Another One Inch Punch looked to be the end but Black distracted the ref to break the count. Kenji let his attention wander letting Ophidian attack him. The advantage was short and soon Ophidian found himself in the Kimura again and ended up tapping.
The Tall Man is walking in the back. He is in tonight's main event against GWF Intergalactic Champion Giant Azuma. MG7000 comes up and wants to know what happened to Perfect Specimen after his match with The Tall Man. All he gets is an evil stare from The Tall Man that makes MG7000 freeze in place as The Tall Man continues to slowly stride off.
Catfight w/Moonlight and Shann-Ra beat Fhanna by pinfall.
Early on this was Fhanna's match. Things turned when she made the mistake to take the fight to the floor. Moonlight looked like she would get involved. The ref got between them and ordered Moonlight to back up. This allowed Shann-Ra to attack Fhanna so Catfight could be in control. Back in the ring it was all Catfight and she won after a Feline Fury. Moonlight, with a mic, and Shann-Ra get in the ring.
Moonlight: Cosmic Woman! You want to ignore us while you go play with the boys? Fine. Just know what happens in this division is on your hands.
With that the Hunting Party beat down Fhanna as the ref calls for the bell and tries in vain to stop them.
Dominion w/Godsend beat Death Dealers w/Tauran by submission/sleeper.
Necros and Moog started and Necros controlled most of the action. He then tagged Coven Black. After a bit Moog gets in some offense and tags out. After a couple minutes of back and forth Sentinel starts wearing down the Vampire including using his Nightwatch finisher a few times. In fact it was a Nightwatch that finally did Coven Black in.
An announcement that the main event of the next card will be Shayne vs End of Days V. What a great match that will be.
The Tall Man beat Giant Azuma by pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match to win the title.
The Tall Man showed off his immense power in this match. He chokeslammed the large Azuma not once but twice. He also hit a Death Valley Driver. Then after a couple pin attempts he lifted Giant Azuma up and hit Phantasm Ravager. Just like that Azuma's reign was over and we had a new champion.
With the match over UltraMantis Black, the Death Dealers, Tauran and four gravers pushing an extra wide gurney made their way to the ring. The group rolled Giant Azuma onto the gurney and pushed the gurney up the ramp and into the back.

Card #217 - Shrine of the Flaming Star
An announcement regarding the Omega Cup. The first person to be let in the tournament is the two time winner and the defending Cup winner Monolith. Last card Cosmic Woman asked to be in it and her request has been granted. She will be the first woman to compete for the Omega Cup. Reminder tonight's main event will be Shayne against End of Days V.
Turmoil beat Nightmare w/Maramus by pinfall in a Castilex Hardcore Championship match to retain the title.
Maramus came out by himself and once Turmoil got in the ring the mists swirled and Nightmare sprung. Turmoil quickly reversed the momentum. He hit Aethran Coup Cannon and almost had an early victory. He went on to perform a Table Breaker, Total Turmoil and then another Table Breaker. Normally those moves would get him disqualified. In this match they are good and just cause both men pain.
Turmoil took the match to the floor. He set up a table against the ring but before he could do anything Nightmare lifted him and performed a body slam thru the table smashing. He covered and Turmoil barely kicked out in time. Nightmare pummeled the champ up the ramp then hit a Shadow Spear. A bit later Turmoil was on wobbly legs on the edge of the stage. Nightmare got a running start in an attempt to clothesline him but Turmoil ducked and hit a back body drop. Nightmare flipped over and off the stage crashing into a table full of t-shirts that are given to fans during commercial breaks.
Once he caught his breath Turmoil grabbed Nightmare and dragged him to the ring. Nightmare was busted open and a crimson mask. Turmoil performed his Intimidation finisher and finally was able to end the match. A good opening match to fire up the crowd.
An announcement that next card Commissioner Eydilon will talk to Double Cross to find out which of his three remaining contracts he will be cashing in at Omega Cup. Eydilon and GWF wish to promote the match in advance.
Honos w/Uranus beat Disciple of Terror.
Before the match Terror was saying he wanted Uranus instead of Honos. In response Honos said he wanted Tricks but got his pet instead. Uranus laughed wildly which got Terror's attention letting Honos get the jump on him.
To his credit Terror survived the early assault and even got in some offense. In fact he got on a roll for awhile. Honos was just too much for him. A Military Strike ended the match. Uranus slid in the ring after and started kicking Terror. Honos went to the floor, set up a table and called out to Uranus. At that Uranus rolled Terror to the side of the ring and Honos set him up on the table. Uranus went to the top rope and hit a flying elbow. Surprising, or maybe not, the table did not break. Uranus was just too light. It didn't damper his euphemism as he was jumping up and down after, pumping his fist in the air.
Faller and Lord Nexus in their locker room. Lord Nexus: I'm not sure what to do. First some men have left us and now Perfect Specimen and Giant Azuma have gone missing. Both after losing to The Tall Man. I've tried talking to Commissioner Eydilon but he's been busy and can't get an appointment.
Faller: Maybe we need to just storm into his office. It seems everyone else does that. Either way the Titans will be fine. We have gone thru hard times before and survived. Maybe we just need to do some recruiting.
With that Lord Nexus seems to be in deep thought.
Hart Foundation 2.0 w/M.H. Henry over FDF Tradition w/Massif.
FDF Tradition made their entrance but instead of making the way to the ring they stopped on the stage. They looked behind them and to the surprise of everyone Massif came out. The FDF managers tend to be behind the scenes guys but here comes Massif in a rare appearance.
Massif being in his team's corner didn't help them. Smith started hot against Climber and made an early tag to Hart. Teddy kept things rolling for his team then tagged Smith and they hit Doomsday Destroyer but Smith didn't hook a leg and Climber kicked out. Smith kept working on Climber and hit his finisher for a two count. A tag to Hart and he showed off his skills. A tag and they went for another Doomsday Destroyer. This time Climber was too weak too kick out.
Dark Menace and Monolith are standing in the interview area.
Monolith: Lately it feels like I've been spinning my wheels. I am the most dominating force in wrestling. I need to be on the top. I will be on the top. I plan on repeating as Omega Cup winner then cashing on one of the top champions. (Dark Menace looks up at Monolith and seems a bit nervous.) I am the unstoppable Beast. I am the one true giant in the GWF. I. Am. Monolith!
Taichi defeated Scorn via pinfall.
There was a long feeling out period as neither woman could get anything going. Then they each had little burst's of offense. Finally Taichi got on a good roll. A near pin followed up by her submission finisher that saw Scorn desperately claw for the rope for the break. A bit more offense and a hammer fist combo finally put Scorn away.
Taichi after having her hand raised as the victor hopped out of the ring while Scorn recovered in the ring. Hunting Party ran down and attacked Scorn. At first Taichi simply watched but then she went in to stop the attack on a defenseless Scorn. For a bit Taichi was fighting them off. However the numbers game was too much and the Hunting Party soon subdued her. When all done Hunting Party stood tall as Taichi and Scorn were laid out on the mat.
Massif and FDF Tradition in their locker room. Climber is icing some of his body parts. Massif is apologizing for not having them better prepared. He said with the changing landscape here in GWF he plans on taking a more hands on approach. Especially with Commander Sam off on his secret mission as he called it.
End of Days V w/Double Cross over Shayne by pinfall.
Soon as the match started Cross tried to grab Shayne's feet. The ref was in no mood as he knew Shayne had a huge task ahead of him and ordered Cross to the back. Cross argued but started slowly walking backwards toward the stage. His distraction was a success as Shayne turned his back on Ends. When he turned around he got hit with a Behemoth Spear but kicked out. End followed up with an Unlimited Power. It looked like it might be a short match but Shayne kicked out to the delight of the fans. After some more hard hitting offense End performed Unlimited Power again and Shayne was finished. End of Days V stood up post pin, stepped on Shayne and exited the ring to return to the back.

Sweet card!
I am going to make a comment about Hunting Party attacking and p'wning Scorn (and then Taichi)...the women's matches are not usually talked about much but this one seem like a good match...Hunting Party had to sneak in and do them dirty!
Payback is coming as Taichi/Scorn sounds like a nasty duo!
