Card #222 - Warrior Village Coliseum
Sitting at his desk in his office is Commissioner Eydilon.
Eydilon: We have an action packed show tonight as we head into the Omega Cup PPV. As we are on Aethra we have many of the Gladiator team in action. The next card will be very entertaining as well as we will have fall out from the PPV and find out who the Omega Cup winner wants a title shot against. Tell then, enjoy the show.
Swarm over Disciple of Terror via pinfall.
This was almost a one sided match. The thing is it was Disciple that dominated the vet. He hit his finisher but Swarm kicked out. It took a few minutes but Swarm was able to find an opening and got his offense going. He had Terror in major trouble and when he hit Venomous Stinger the match was over.
Swarm was having his arm raised when Power and Glory ran down and blindsided Swarm. The were putting the boots to him and soon Disciple joined in. The time keeper kept ringing the bell but the assault didn't stop. That brought out Red Talon and Lope. They chased the villains off then checked on Swarm.
A promo for Omega Cup PPV covering the card lineup. - Double Cross vs Shayne in a GWF Universal Championship match.
- The Tall Man vs Double Cross in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match. This is Double Cross cashing in one of his Ultimate Prize contracts.
- Double Cross vs Helsin in Omega Cup quarterfinal. - Monolith vs Bishop Hell in Omega Cup quarterfinal.
- Godsend vs Infinity-Plex in Omega Cup quarterfinal.
- Cosmic Woman vs Lope in Omega Cup quarterfinal.
- Omega Cup semifinal.
- Omega Cup semifinal.
- Omega Cup final.
Tauran vs Lope by pinfall.
Lope remained in the ring after Red Talon helped Swarm to the back. Lope started fast but the Vampire quickly flipped things his way. He kept beating down Lope and when he nailed his 3rd Vampire Blood Drop it was over. Lope did not have enough to kick out.
The GWF's Sherlock Holmes, MG7000, was walking in back. He passed some ring crew members and asked if they have seen any sight of Perfect Specimen. They of course they say no. A bit later he is using his magnifying glass on a wall when Giant Azuma comes stumbling by with a dazed look on his face.
MG7000: Excuse me Azuma, I am looking for Perfect Specimen. Have you seen him or have you any useful info?
Giant Azuma stops and looks at MG. He has a look of confusion and slowly shakes his head before shuffling off.
MG7000: OK well thanks anyways.
He starts walking off then stops suddenly and his eyes get huge.
MG7000: Azuma? What the...WAIT!
He turns around and runs after Giant Azuma.
TO BE CONTINUED...TONIGHT
Gladiators beat The Executioners via submission.
Executioner Ghena seemed to be encouraging Executioner Witness to go down to the ring as he does not seem interested in competing. The Gladiators came out to a huge pop. Ghena controlled most of the early action over Fist. He then tagged Witness in. Fist got him in Armament but Witness fought out of it.
Fist tagged the big man, Probation, in. He used his strength to beat on and toss Witness around. A couple unsuccessful pin attempts. Then he tagged Fist back in. Some offense and he tried Armament again. This time he had it locked in good and Witness tapped out.
As the fans cheer and the Gladiators hit the turnbuckles to acknowledge them Ghena comes in to check on Witness. This was not appreciated as Witness pushed Ghena away. Ghena holds his hands up as he's confused. Witness rips his mask off and tosses it at Ghena's feet before walking off.
It is announced that Commissioner Eydilon was set to book a six man tag team match for the next card between Disciple of Terror and the team of Power and Glory against Swarm, Lope and Red Talon. However Swarm asked for a warm up match for his guys on the next card with the big match happening on the following card. Eydilon awarded it.
Rhea w/Sinful over Thrash by disqualification.
Thrash with a couple early moves then Rhea's amazing power took over. She was destroying the Gladiator to the displeasure of the fans. Rhea lifted Thrash and dumped her over the top rope. She went out after her. The finish came when Sinful grabbed a chair and went to toss it over Thrash to Rhea. Thrash caught it, turned and hit Rhea with it. Even though the monster wasn't fazed the ref called for the bell. Rhea won the match but she didn't care. She attacked Thrash and left laid out on the ground.
Lord Nexus and MG7000 are standing over Giant Azuma who's sitting at a table eating. MG7000: He told me he doesn't remember anything. His last memory was being pinned by The Tall Man thus losing his title. The next thing he remembers is waking up in the parking lot outside of the arena then walking inside right before passing me.
Lord Nexus: Well we know The Tall Man took him. Just like he did Spec. So if Azuma can't remember what happened when he was taken, if he can't help us we might be left with only one option.
MG7000: His picture placed on milk cartons?
Lord Nexus: What, no. We go talk to the last man we know saw Spec. The Tall Man.
He walks off and MG looks frightened.
MG7000: Can't we give the milk thing a chance first?
Turmoil beat Psyclone by pinfall in a Castilex Hardcore Championship to retain.
Turmoil came out to a loud roar. Once the opening bell rang Psyclone shocked the champ with a Psycho Spear. It seemed to hurt him almost as much as it did Turmoil. The same can be said for most of his offense. Especially multiple Titan Deaths. It seemed the match was his to win. For some reason he didn't try a pin. He did apply Rings of Saturn but Turmoil crawled his way to the ropes to get a break. Soon after when he tossed Turmoil into the corner he rushed in and got a mouthful of boot. Turmoil was able to rock some offense and after he performed a hangman drop from ring apron he made the cover. Ref counted three and the fans, who had counted along, exploded. It was a happy night on Aethra.

Omega Cup PPV - Janus Star Center
The PPV begins with highlights of past Omega Cups and shows all the winners including last year when Monolith won for a second time. He and Godsend are only ones in this year's Cup to have won before.
Then we get a video package showing how over numerous cards Double Cross kept Commissioner Eydilon waiting and how Eydilon got the last laugh. It is time for the opening match in this year's Omega Cup and it involves the first lady wrestler to compete in the Cup, Cosmic Woman.
Lope beat Cosmic Woman by pinfall in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match.
This was a lopsided match as Lope started with a backward leg sweep that rocked Cosmic Woman. He went to work from there using a Lope Skullcrusher, Wild Prairie Dive and his Savage Face Claw to wear her down. Another backward leg sweep led to the pin. Lope moves on.
Dark Menace is talking to Monolith. The giant says he wants to do this on his own and for Menace to stay in back.
Infinity-Plex beat Godsend via pinfall in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match.
Another one sided affair. I-P has not looked the best since arriving n GWF but this match showed he might be finding his groove. He dominated the former Omega Cup winner. First couple minutes was all Infinity-Plex. Godsend fought back a bit but did not last long. Infinity-Plex used the Instability Grip and followed it up with an Infinity Superplex. It didn't get the win so he hit some more offense. A Black Hole Slam finished Godsend off. Infinity-Plex moves on to semi finals.
Monolith beat Bishop Hell by submission in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match.
These two have had some great battles over last year or so. This was not one of them. Monolith began hot. Hell fought back and was laying into the giant. It was then that Monolith got mad and responded with a nasty Decapitator. He went on the attack that included a couple Crashing Stampedes and an Overhead Toss that led to a close two count. Seeing Hell in trouble Monolith lifted him on his shoulders and used I Break You to make Hell tap out. Monolith took the first step to being the first repeat Omega Cup winner.
A promo video for the next PPV, Halloween Havoc. The first match is announced. Honos got his wish. He will face Tricks in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match. That will be a brutal war.
Double Cross over Helsin by pinfall in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match.
Cross is in the ring waiting on his nemesis Helsin. That is when Helsin propels down from a cat walk into the ring behind Cross. It allows Helsin to get an early advantage. He hits some offense and goes for an early cover. He tosses Cross into the corner. Cross moves as Helsin rushes in and Helsin's shoulder smashes into the ring post. Cross rolls him up but Helsin kicks out. Wanting to end this match as quick as possible due to having a long night Cross performs Human Arrow but gets a two count. He hits it again and picks up the W. Cross is moving on to the semi finals. He is about to leave the ring when the ref stops him. His shot at the Intergalactic Championship is next.
The Tall Man defeated Double Cross by pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match to retain the title.
Double Cross was trying to catch his breath and prepare for the match as The Tall Man, escorted by a Graver, came down to the ring. When the bell rang Cross rushed The Tall Man as once again he wanted that quick win.
Cross was in control and looking good when the Graver hopped on the apron. Cross went to hit him but he dropped off. The distraction let The Tall Man attack him. He grabs Cross and hits a choke slam. He follows up with a Death Valley Driver and his Last Rights finisher. Cross gets a shoulder up at two. The Tall Man hits It's Not A Dream and Cross looks like he is out on his feet. But The Tall Man goes for the death blow and hits Phantasm Ravager. He covers and the ref counts three.
Of record this is the first time someone did not successfully cash in an Ultimate Prize contract. Cross's night was about to get worse. The Graver got in the ring and attacked Cross. After beating him down for a bit he tossed Cross out of the ring. Then he went to remove his gas mask. Fans got excited but once the mask was removed some fans were confused while others popped. The announcers point out he is a wrestler from Earth from the late 20th and early 21st century who must have time traveled. Some fans started chanting his name "Vampiro, Vampiro". He leaves with The Tall Man.
It is announced that Commander Sam will be returning on the next card. Where has he been? What will he have to say?
Infinity-Plex over Monolith by pinfall in an Omega Cup semi final match.
The match was back and forth early on. It saw Plex challenge the GWF'a giant to a test of strength...and win. Finally Plex got on a roll. He hit Monolith with Infinity Challenge and went for the cover. Monolith kicked out at one. Plex lifted Monolith and placed him on the turnbuckle. He then nailed Infinity Superplex and got a two count. Plex was pumped as he was riding the wave of momentum. Another Infinity Challenge and Monolith kicked out at two. Plex made the cut throat gesture and set Monolith up for another Infinity Superplex. This time he covered and Monolith could not kick out. Infinity-Plex with another impressive win and he is in the Omega Cup finals.
Lope beat Double Cross by pinfall in an Omega Cup semi final match.
Death Cross looked fatigued. Yet he rushed at Lope with the start of the match. Lope survived some blows and then returned fire. A Lope Skullcrusher led to a pin attempt that Cross barely kicked out of. Lope tossed Cross thru the ropes and Cross crashed to the floor. Lope waited in the ring and Cross barely crawled in before the ten count. Lope tossed him out on the other side of the ring. Lope climbed to the top rope and jumped down on Cross. Lope battles with Cross and rolls him in the ring. He then hits a Howl Of The Wolf and won the match. Lope joins Infinity-Plex in the finals. Meanwhile the ref is checking on Cross who is bleeding from a cut on his forehead. Cross gets a bandage on it just as his next match is introduced.
Shayne beat Double Cross by pinfall in a GWF Universal Championship match to win the title.
Cross looks in disbelief as Shayne makes his way down. Soon as Shayne tries to enter the ring Cross attacks him. With all he's been thru Cross looked amazing at the start. He then made the mistake of trying to overpower Shayne. That would be hard in normal conditions but almost impossible with the shape he is in. Shayne countered and smashed Cross with a Death Valley Driver. He followed up with Frontier Justice and an Eye4Eye that looked to knock Cross out. Shayne covered and with the ref's third slap of the mat Shayne had won back his title.
Lope beat Infinity-Plex via pinfall in the Omega Cup finals to win the Omega Cup.
This match ended up being an instant classic. Lope savagely tears into Plex for first couple minutes. He tosses Plex out of the ring then blasts him with a suicide dive. The two men brawl on the floor and Lope starts to choke Plex. The ref got very close to disqualifying Lope but gave some extra leeway due to the importance of the match.
As the ref is reprimanding Lope Infinity-Plex takes advantage and attacks him. He rolls Lope into the ring. Plex is now in control and used multiple Black Hole Slams to wear Lope down. He hits Infinity Superplex and the crowd pops when Lope kicks out at one. Plex looks at his opponent with disbelief.
He puts Lope in the Instability Grip but Lope holds strong. An Overdrive Crash led to a two count. Plex with more offense. Every time it looks like Lope might get something going Plex countered it. Another Overdrive Crash and it looks like that might be it. Lope kicked out right before three and the fans cheered.
Plex is getting frustrated. He does some more offense but loses focus and Lope pounces on that. He hits Howl Of The Wolf and fans count with ref but Plex kicks out at two. Some fans boo thinking it was three. He follows up with Pounce and Shred and another two count. Lope unleashes some kicks on Plex then a loud howl. He goes to top rope and hits another Howl Of The Wolf and covers. When the ref counts three the crowd explodes. Lope has won the Omega Cup. The announcers point out that Infinity-Plex had a good showing but tonight Lope was not to be denied.

Card #223 - The AC Arena
We see new GWF Universal Champion Shayne arriving earlier. The title belt on his shoulder.
Next we see Double Cross arriving. An official asks how he's doing. He responds that he's still sore from his matches at Omega Cup and ready to take it easy. The official tells him he's in the main event defending the Castilex Tag Team Championship. Cross screams then points out he hasn't even seen his tag partner for awhile. The official says End of Days V is waiting in their locker room and Cross storms off.
Then we get a clip video of Omega Cup highlights. Finally we go to the ring where MG7000, Lope and Swarm are.
MG7000: First off congratulations on winning the Omega Cup Lope. It was a great showing. But the reason we are here is everyone wants to know who you want to challenge for their title, Shayne or Aethran Outlaw? So Swarm, who will Lope challenge?
Swarm: Well Lope did a lot of thinking. He wants to hold the title that this dimension's version of him, Wolf, held. So he will challenge Aethran Outlaw for the Castilex Heavyweight Championship. Now if you will excuse us we have to go prepare for our six man tag match later tonight.
Uranus w/Honos beat Ophidian w/UltraMantis Black by pinfall.
Before the match started Honos threatened Ophidian which distracted him. That allowed Uranus to get the jump on him. Uranus hit his finisher Son of Janus early but only got a two count. He kept working on Ophidian and any time he slowed down or it seemed Ophidian might make a come back Honos slammed his fists to encourage his brother. Finally after numerous Son of Janus's he hit one that kept Ophidian down.
A man sits on an old throne in a dark, candle lit cave. His head is down and as the camera gets closer we see it's Vampiro.
Vampiro: People have been wondering how I got here. Who used a time machine to bring me to this time. Well I got here the same way as the mountains and rivers. One day at a time. In my early days of existence I searched for the meaning of life and more so never ending life in many places. Voodoo, dark arts and Vampirism among them. Then one day a man appeared to me and spent an hour discussing life then left. He would return at the same time each week. We would discuss philosophy, religion and mystical things. I do not know why but at first I never asked who he was or why he came. Finally I got the nerve and did so. He said "my name is Count Necros and I come from a different planet. I can either be a man who simply shared wisdom for you or I can be your destiny". I wondered that for months as we continued our meetings. Finally I said I was prepared for whatever he could give me. As it was he was a Vampire and thus he made me one. For decades upon decades I was his agent in the shadows. Now the time has come for me to come out from the shadows. (slowly raises his head) Heaven help anyone who gets in the way of me and the Death Council and what we want.
Executioner Ghena walks down to the ring. He says he doesn't understand what Witness did and wants to know why he did it. Witness comes down and gets in the ring.
Witness: It is real easy. I never wanted to be a part of the Kingdom. I was forced. Then Godsend left. I stayed without thinking about it. Then the Kingdom disbanded and it hit me I was finally free. I can do what I want, WE can do what we want.
Executioner Ghena: What I want is to kick your ass for turning your back on our team and the Kingdom.
Witness: Fine. (turning toward the entrance) Send out a ref.
Witness over Executioner Ghena via submission.
The animosity between these two was on display as they tore into each other. Witness controlled first couple minutes and made a pin attempt. Then Ghena went on an offensive roll. He hit a finisher but only got a two count. Witness then fought back. He kept knocking Ghena down but Ghena wouldn't stay down. When Witness went to perform Prosecution Ghena flipped him off and yelled at him. Witness slapped it on and eventually Ghena tapped out.
Back at the interview area Cosmic Woman is standing with a Ladies Championship on each shoulder.
Cosmic Woman: I wanted a chance to prove myself by being in the Omega Cup. I got that shot but did not perform well. Yes I lost to the eventual Cup winner but I did not make a good showing for myself. I learned I still need to do more, to get better. For now I will focus on the ladies division. Part of that is me defending the GWF Ladies Championship. I want the woman I beat for it, Rhea.
Mecatoid Boys over Swarm, Lope and Red Talon by disqualification.
The announcers talk about how the Mecatoid Boys are new signees to GWF. They started as a tag team, of Samuel and Hiro, on the indie circuit before Kristoff joined them. Recently they were in SCWA and had a run as tag team champs. They defended them using Freebird/Gladiator rules.
Red Talon and Kristoff started the match. Talon was looking good and hit an Andromeda Drop and covered for a close two count. He then tagged Swarm in. As Swarm kept up his team's advantage Disciple of Terror came down to ring side. Swarm hit his own Andromeda Drop and got a two count. Terror hops on the apron getting the ref's attention. Things get out of hand as for a bit everyone is in the ring. After a minute or so the ref is starting to regain control. Terror slides in the ring with a chair. It looks like he is going to hit Swarm with it but turns and hits Kristoff with it and he falls to the mat. Then Terror tosses Swarm the chair who catches it out of reflex. Terror turns the ref and points to the two men. Of course the ref interrupts it as Swarm used the chair and called for the bell. The Animen can not believe what happened.
End of Days V is sitting in his locker room when Double Cross walks in.
Double Cross: Well look who's back. Thanks for rewarding us with your presence. Hope you enjoyed your sabbatical. We have a title match tonight. You better help us win. Seeing you were not there to watch my back at Omega Cup and cost me not one but TWO titles.
A grunt and End of Days V stands up, towering over Cross who just glares up at him.
Taichi w/Scorn beat Moonlight w/Catfight and Shann-Ra by pinfall.
Taichi took the fight to Moonlight right after the bell. An early Muay Thai Kick was followed by an Arm Triangle and Taichi almost had a fast win. However Moonlight was able to reach the rope for a break. Taichi kept the advantage till she climbed the ropes. She jumped off at Moonlight her caught her and hit a fallaway slam. Moonlight with some offense that did not last long. Taichi was back in control and hit a hammerfist combo before getting the three count. The Hunting Party stared daggers into Taichi and Scorn but did not do anything.
It is announced that Cosmic Woman defending her title against Rhea will be the next card's main event.
Double Cross and End of Days V beat FDF Tradition w/Massif by pinfall in a Castilex Tag Team Championship match to retain the title.
Cross and Climber kicked off the match. Cross looked good and hit an early Human Arrow for a two count. He then tagged End in. The giant thrashed his smaller opponent. He performed Unlimited Power and made the cover for the win.
As the champs return to the back Climber rolls out of the ring to the floor. Massif checks on him as Tank Mortar looks down with an unhappy face. Then the sound of a bugle playing followed by the sound of marching boots. Commander Sam comes out to the stage followed by three men. They march to the ring and enter.
Commander Sam: As you know I have been gone for awhile. I was out recruiting warriors. For years I have led the FDF, Federation Defense Fighters, and we defended against outside forces. But lately I have realized being on the defense was not enough. It was time to go on the offense. Thus I wanted to put together a team to do that. A Strike Force. Let me introduce these men. First is General Aegis. Like me he spent most of his time fighting in the military. He is a strategic genius. While in the military he would wrestle matches to help with hand to hand combat and entertain his troops. He has some experience in a couple smaller companies but I know he will do fine. This large beast of a man is Warfare. Some of you might know him from his success in the indies including Lord Nexus's former company, TWA. Before that he spent a couple years in the military. Last but not least is Condult. He was in special ops and an expert in subterfuge and gorilla warfare. These three men make up almost a complete unit. I am one man short. Thus why I am out here.
He looks down at the men on the floor.
Commander Sam: What do you say Tank? Do you want to join my Strike Force?
Tank looks at Climber than Massif. He shrugs his shoulders then looks up at Sam, smiles and gets in the ring.
Commander Sam: Sorry to weaken an already weakened FDF Massif but I need the firepower. You still have Climber and he's not bad. Plus you can recruit some more men.
Climber looks around then walks off to the back as Massif pleads with him before following him.
Tank Mortar: I knew he didn't have the stuff to be a warrior. This is wrestling not rock climbing.
The other three men laugh and Sam tells them to knock it off.
Commander Sam: I present to you Strike Force.
Tank Mortar: Sam's Strike Force!
Strike Force: Hooray!

Vampiro!!? Holy cow. 5 stars of awesomeness.
Great to Uranus in the W column! Entertaining victory.
Really love the Double Cross/End of Days V team. Years ago End of Days and BD Bishop Hell were awesome tag champs for me. Nice debut for the Centra heroes too. Keep up all the fantastic work!
