Card #268 - Weyland-Yutani Corp Amphitheater
The opening shows the people of Castilex heading to the show. They seem happy and excited for the action. The Liberators (Exo-King, Death Knight and Killer Queen) walk among them and are warmly greeted.
Warden w/Lance At-Las beat Vampiro by pinfall.
The vampire was dominating the new comer for several minutes. However he couldn't get that one move to put him away. Warden eventually started fighting back. He wore Vampiro down with a couple Invincibles. A third one finally got him a W.
Gladiators NG and Alpha Female are in the interview area.
Alpha Female: Later tonight my men will beat those traitors Aethran Outlaws. Beyond that I am announcing what most people expected. The Aethran's will be represented in the Omega Cup. A Gladiator will do what Aethran Outlaw could never do. Win the Omega Cup. He went 0-3 and was never asked back. He is a failure. He is a disgrace.
Plethador w/Bishop Hell over Cephalopodis w/Massif via disqualification.
Cephalopodis with some early offense then Plethador went wild like a man possessed. He took the fight to the floor. Cephalopodis threw his former tag partner into the railing. He then went to charge at him. The ref went to get between them as he wanted to check on Plethador. Cephalopodis tried to stop but his momentum took him crashing into the ref. The two wrestlers continued to fight and when the ref recovered some he called for the bell. Cephalopodis tried to apologize but it was too late.
The camera shows two men sitting in the crowd. They look like twin vibrant bodies of energy. American Guy says they are a couple wrestlers that work for a local small promotion that holds cards on three planets. They are a tag team called The Advance Guard. Their names are First Wave and Second Wave. They seem to be watching intensely the in ring action.
Witness over Disciple of Terror w/Kralla by disqualification.
A rematch of a recent match that saw Terror use trickery to get Witness DQ'd. This match saw Witness pay him back. Once again they were on the floor fighting and Kralla distracted the ref. Terror grabbed a chair, smacked it against a ring post, tossed it to Witness and flipped to the ground. Not missing a beat as he was prepared for this Witness slid the chair over his head and leaned over the barricade. Terror saw this and got up to check on him to see what was going on. This is when the ref turned around. Figuring that Terror had smashed Witness with the chair he DQ'd Terror. Not believing what just happened Terror went nuts and was yelling at the ref. Witness stood up, removed the chair and, with the ref's back to him, he winked at Terror who only got more ticked off.
A drone camera is flying around a deserted, desolate city. Burned out and bombed out buildings, vehicles that some had been set on fire at some time and debris litters the streets. This is where the main event between Lope and The Basilisk will take place.
Aethra's Most Wanted beat Gladiators NG w/Alpha Female via countout.
Category Five and Paralyze start the match. Category Five is using his speed and agility to keep the larger man on the defensive. Then he tries a power move and fails. Paralyze with some offense then Five is able to tag out to Torment.
The next couple minutes sees Gladiators NG use double teaming and tags to wear down Paralyze. He then snaps on Five and starts beating down the much smaller man. A few unsuccessful pin attempts and then he tags out to Aethran Outlaw. The giant looks down at Alpha Female with a sneer and then dominates Category Five before sending him flying out of the ring with Reign of the Outlaw. Five takes too long to recover and is counted out. AWM stand tall in the ring as winners over the upstarts.
An official announcement of another entrant into the Omega Cup. It's Death Knight. Here is the current lineup.
- Lope (defending Cup winner)
- Infinity-Plex
- Jupiter
- Nightmare
- Kenji
- Category Five or Torment
- Death Knight
- TBA
Killer Queen defeated Scorn by submission.
Scorn was dominating Scorn and appeared to be on the way to an easy victory. But Killer Queen was determined to not go down like that. She fought back and eventually put Scorn in Checkmate forcing Scorn to tap out.
Lope beat The Basilisk via pinfall in a Concrete Jungle match.
The ref and Lope are walking in the deserted streets looking for The Basilisk. He comes out of a destroyed building catching Lope off guard and performs Gaze of Stone. The Basilisk goes wild after that. He uses limb dismemberment and Cry of the Basilisk to stun Lope. The Basilisk finds a rusty shopping cart and rams into Lope. He then tosses the cart onto it's side and slams Lope onto it.
In obvious pain Lope fights back like a corned animal. He tosses some pebbles and dirt into The Basilisk's eyes. He climbs onto a car and performs a Wild Prairie Dive causing damage to both men. A couple Predator Splashes and a Lope Skullcrusher. Then The Basilisk starts fighting back. He whips Lope into a half wall and it crumbles from the impact. The Basilisk lifts a manhole cover and smashes it into Lope's forehead and busts him open. Lope falls down fast first and then The Basilisk simply drops the cover on his back.
The Basilisk rolls Lope over and lays on him, growling in Lope's face. The ref counts but Lope kicks out. The Basilisk looks around for something to hit Lope with. This allows a bloody Lope to recover. He goes into a burned out building and ends up flying thru a second floor window to hit a Wild Prairie Dive into The Basilisk. He then applies a Savage Face Claw. The Basilisk can not escape it but he doesn't submit, if he even knows how too. Eventually he starts to fade and Lope pushes him down onto his back. The ref counts and the match is finally over. Lope is the winner but is far from looking like one.

Hey on_the_edge! Just binge read meself up to the present. Really enjoyed Lope's victory. And the slick way Disciple of Terror orchestrated a technical victory for himself! Sinister stuff with using Plethador as a host for Cthugha - Its a great angle for sure. Liking The Dark Plethador. That Concrete Jungle Match between Lope & The Basilisk sounds insane! And it totally was - Lope with a second story pounce and then finishing him off Savage Face Claw style. Then it's off to medics. You're imagination is a true inspiration my friend. Take a bow!

Thank you for the kind words. My mind can take me to some fun places but it also can be all over the place so hard to keep things on track. The Plethador Thomas (TK) came up with led me to this story line for him. I have a bunch of other ideas for the future so hopefully they are entertaining for you and others as well. Thanks again.

Card #269 - Pollux Starfire Arena
Show starts with the tag team Best Ever in Commissioner Sly Drury's office. Sly tells them a veteran team who wrestled in GWF in the past has an issue with the team name Best Ever. They want a match with Best Ever. Actagon says that's fine. Sly tells them that's good as they will face off tonight.
American Guy: Wow that is some big news. I wonder who it could be?
Latasha: So many possible teams. One of the Animen teams, maybe one of the many Titan teams, New Order or one of the WAR teams...heck maybe one of the Gladiator teams. So many choices and I think any of them will be great.
Cupid & Honus beat Maelstrom & Dreadnaught by pinfall.
Maelstrom had Cupid in trouble early. He hit his finisher but only got a two. As he backed up toward his corner deciding what to do next Dreadnaught in. Maelstrom tried talking him to stay on the apron but Dreadnaught waved him off.
Dreadnaught with a Guided Missle and a two count. He kept on the attack as Maelstrom kept asking to be tagged back in. Later after another Guided Missle and two count Dreadnaught finally decided to tag out. A short time later Cupid made a desperate jump to tag out. Honus was fired up and he leveled Maelstrom. He went for his finisher, Military Strike. A two count only. A minute or so later Honus hit his finisher again and this time he got the pin.
Bishop Hell and Plethador are walking and talking in back.
Plethador: That silly squid wants a rematch. I'm tired of him. So you will face him and take care of him. Got it?
Bishop Hell: Of course sir. Consider it done.
Darkest Justice beat Primal w/Malicious via pinfall in a Castilex Hardcore Championship match to win the title.
The champ went wild as soon as he was released from his chains. Darkest Justice survived the storm and countered the attack. He ended up performing Shock Probation for the win. SOL has some gold.
Tonight's main event is a #1 contender match. It will be Necros vs Totalis. Bot have tag gold but are looking for single gold. The winner will face Infinity on the next card in the main event.
Bishop Hell over Cephalopodis w/Massif by pinfall.
The big man gave Hell some trouble early on but Hell is a talented vet and he figured out how to deal with the size issue. He used tombstone piledrivers to wear him down. A Burning Cross Body brought the action to it's inevitable conclusion.
Best Ever came out for their special challenge match. The crowd was hushed in anticipation. The sound of a motorcycle engine being revved had the fans pop. It's Superiority Complex. Skinhead came out followed by Prodigy on his hog.
Best Ever defeated Superiority Complex via pinfall. Rune Larrs and Skinhead began and the large man had his way with Skinhead. Rune tagged Actagon and Best Ever performed Mega Drive Cluster. Actagon made the cover as Rune stood over him to stop any save attempt. Just like that the match was over. Superiority Complex headed to the back with their heads down as Best Ever stood tall in the ring.
A promo for the Omega Cup PPV. The last entrant is named. It will be new GWF TV Champion "The Real G" Giant Azuma. That means there will be five new participants and only one former winner, Lope.
Moonlight w/Hunting Party beat Elina by pinfall.
Elina was rolling in this match and had Moonlight in trouble. She went to hit her finisher when Catfight pushed her off the top rope. From there Moonlight just took her apart. It took a second Mongolian Horde but Moonlight got the W.
Hunting Party entered the ring and joined Moonlight in dishing out a post match beat down. As the three women assault Elina Helsin runs down and slides under the bottom rope. When the three ladies of War Party see him they bail out of the ring. Helsin checks on Elina who eyes him then walks away from him toward the back. He stands in the ring watching her looking confused.
Commissioner Sly Drury is on the jumbotron.
Sly Drury: Alpha Female. There has been a request by some of the entrants in Omega Cup and GWF officials to know which of your Gladiators will be entering the Cup. Will it be Category Five or Torment? You have until the end of the next card to inform us of who it will be.
Necros over Totalis by pinfall in a #1 Contender match.
American Guy points out that Coven Black and Double Cross are banned from ringside for this match. The two men fought hard with so much on the line. Necros hit Stake to the Heart and rolled up Totalis, maybe with a handful of tights, for the pin. Next card Infinity will defend the Universal title against Necros.

Beneath The Mat
Magnus Colby and CLAW have filed a copyright for PAW. Rumors are flying on what this means. Everything from a second promotion to a promotion/show for kids to amateur wrestling. Time will tell.
Iron Clad's contracts are almost up and word is they may not resign with CLAW. That begs the question what will happen to The UnFourGiven.
There are rumors that Magnus Colby is trying to sign more talent under his management. It is believed he is trying to sign a big name and a tag team. Currently he is down to just Prime Colonizer and Prince of Rose. He also has Avalanche but he is more a bodyguard.
It seems some GWF employees have been going thru and organizing classic matches. It is not known at this time what purpose this is for.

That match between Lope and Basilisk was intense and awesome! A match like that can shorten a career, or at least change the participants afterwards from such an ordeal. It is interesting that Alpha Female has not named which Gladiators will participate in the Omega Cup, I figured she would have already informed which Gladiators would participate, with the usual “they will crush all before them and bring glory to aethra” proclamation. Either way, great job and keep it up!

Alpha Female is following her marching orders. There is a plan going on being directed from a different place...and fed. Thank you sir I will try my best to do so.

Card #270 - Albirco Bowl
This is the last show before the Omega Cup PPV. We get a review of the participants then a replay of Commissioner Sly Drury's message last show about how Alpha Female must announce tonight which Gladiator will be entering.
Cosmos w/Lance At-Las, Max Shield and Witness over Kristoff w/MYC by pinfall.
Latasha says that the men out here with Cosmos and Kristoff, not including Lance, will be in a tag match after this match. Cosmos had a great game plan going in and it worked to perfection. After a Gamemaster DDT led to a two count he hit his finisher again and got the pin.
Commissioner Sly Drury is talking to Aethra's Most Wanted in a hallway. He is offering them a title shot tonight at the GWF Intergalactic Tag Team Champions, Street Souldiers. Aethran Outlaw turns him down. He says they want the Universal Tag champs, Death Dealers. Sly points out that Necros is in the main event tonight when security rush over and surround them in a protective circle. The camera turns and show Gladiators NG coming over. Category Five says they are not here for a fight but to accept the title shot. Paralyze says it's theirs. It's just their speed.
Max Shield & Witness w/Lance At-Las and Cosmos beat MYC w/Kristoff via pinfall. Shield started and was all over Hiro. Then he tagged out to Witness. The match seemed like it might be over when Witness slapped on Prosecution. Hiro was able to escape. A bit later Hiro tagged out. Samuel didn't have much better luck. Max tagged back in and he went to the top rope and dropped an elbow. Then he went to the opposite corner and did it again. A Maximum Impact finished Samuel off.
The SOL members are celebrating in the ring. It looks like the MYC will get in to attack them but SOL turn toward them and MYC change their mind.
MG7000 is standing in a hallway looking thru some papers. He sees boB moving some boxes.
MG7000: Hey boB, how goes it?
boB: Not bad but I think a storm is coming.
MG7000: The weatherbot said we'd have nice weather here for a few days.
boB: I know but the hairs in my butt crack are switching. They only do that when there is an electric storm near by.
He walks off with a box leaving MG7000 with his jaw down looking shocked.
Death Knight defeated Saber by pinfall. A good warm-up match for Knight for the Omega Cup. Action went back and forth. Knight finally got the win after a couple I Strike For Freedom spears.
A video package for Omega Cup that covers the first round matches and the other matches on the PPV.
- Lope vs "The Real G" Giant Azuma
- Infinity-Plex vs Death Knight
- Jupiter vs Kenji
- a Gladiator vs Nightmare
plus
- Rhea vs Cosmic Woman in a Cage match
- Disciple of Terror vs Witness in a No DQ match
Gladiators NG w/Alpha Female beat Street Souldiers by pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Tag Team Championship match to win the titles.
Category Five and Skiver began the action. Five quickly took control. After a pin attempt that Skiver kicked out of at one Five tagged Torment in. The larger Gladiator pummels on Skiver. He tags his partner and they perform Thunderstruck. As Category Five makes the pin Torment runs over and knocks Patch off the apron. We have new champs.
As the ref hands them the belts Alpha Female with a mic gets in the ring.
Alpha Female: So it seems Sly Drury has given us a command. I have to announce who will compete in the Omega Cup. (She looks at both of her men) Well two things. First you all will have to wait for that answer till the end of the show. Second is Sly better watch his step. No one tells Aethran's what to do. We are the most powerful force in the universe. That is obvious everywhere you look.
They walk off to the back as some fans boo.
Elina beat Catfight w/Moonlight and Shann-Ra via pinfall.
Elina was all over Catfight. Moonlight tried to trip Elina and the ref caught her. He tossed Moonlight and Shann-Ra from ringside. Elina kept on the pressure and performed a Resurrection, with no one to knock her off the rope this time, to perfection and pinned Catfight.
The camera catches the tag team Advance Guard making their way to a couple seats in the front row of the upper deck. It seems they arrived to watch the main event. It causes a stir among the fans in that section.
Infinity w/Lance At-Las beat Necros w/Coven Black by pinfall in a GWF Universal Championship match to retain the title.
The champion looked great here. He hit offense with ease and Necros couldn't find a way to counter it. Infinity applied his submission finisher and it seemed the Vampire might have to tap but he finally grabbed the bottom rope. Infinity kept going and hit a suicide stunt to earn the title defense.
The Gladiators NG are led by Alpha Female to the ring. It was time for her to name the Gladiator representative for the Omega Cup.
Alpha Female: Either of these two men could win the Omega Cup tournament. However they won tag gold tonight so their attention is best served on that. Now I could enter but the truth is our entrant was never going to be either of the three of us. It's going to be him.
She points to the entrance. As fans waited to see who it was the lights dimmed. Electric shot high in the air like lightning. Then the sound of loud thunder is heard. The fans go nuts before they see him. Then he comes out like the rock star he is. A Gladiator legend...THUNDER.

Omega Cup PPV - Warrior Village Coliseum
We are live from Aethran and the crowd is hot and wild. They know Aethran's are killing it in the wrestling world. Then tonight one of their hero's, Thunder, makes his GWF in ring debut as he tries to win the Omega Cup. A quick promo hype video and we go to the ring for our opening match.
Kenji over Jupiter by submission in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match to advance.
Jupiter was the favorite going in and was using his size for the early advantage. Then Kenji fought back. He slapped on a Kimura and forced Jupiter to tap out. Kenji moves on to the semi finals.
Infinity-Plex over Death Knight via submission in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match to advance.
A good match that saw Death Knight have his chances. He hit his spear finisher a couple times but couldn't pin Plex. Eventually Infinity-Plex put Death Knight in Instablity Grip and earned the submission win. He will face Kenji in the semi finals. American Guy points out that both men won via submission.
A look at the cage hanging over the ring. It's for the match between Cosmic Woman and Rhea later tonight.
Thunder beat Nightmare w/Maramus by pinfall in an Omega Cup quarterfinal match to advance.
The crowd, already loud to begin with, got even louder when Thunder came out. Nightmare attacked out of the Mists but Thunder quickly wrestled control from him. When Thunder hit the first Tempest the crowd thought it was over but Nightmare kicked out. A couple minutes later we get a repeat of the actions but Thunder quickly went to hit a third Tempest and got the three count. The Aethrans popped as their man is in the semi finals.
Lope beat "The Real G" Giant Azuma via pinfall in an Omega Cup quarterfinal to advance.
Before the match American Guy talks about how Lope is trying to repeat as winner and that Azuma's title is not on the line in tournament matches. Latasha points out that a win against him would give someone an argument for a future title match. Azuma comes out wearing some thick gold chains along with his track suit. Lope is heavily bandaged from his recent match with The Basilisk.
Azuma took advantage of Lope's state and got in some early offense. But Lope is a fighter and he made a comeback winning the match with Howl Of The Wolf. He advances to the semi finals to face Thunder.
A video showing the two matches between Disciple of Terror and Witness where each man won via DQ. That led us to the next match.
Witness over Disciple of Terror w/Kralla by pinfall in a No DQ match.
Witness showed Terror that he still has a way to go to be a dominating force like he wants. A couple minutes into the match Witness had Terror in Prosecution. Terror did not give up but getting out of the hold took a lot out of him. Witness quickly followed up with a vertical suplex.
A promo for the next PPV, Halloween Havoc. It shows a house in a forest during a thunder storm. The camera slowly moves up to the door that opens on it's own. "Any may enter. Only the strong will be able to leave."
Kenji over Infinity-Plex via pinfall in an Omega Cup semifinal match to advance.
Kenji was determined in this match. Both men worked hard. Kenji put on a Kimura but Plex worked his way out. Soon after Kenji hit One Inch Punch and he made the cover. Kenji will be in the Omega Cup final. But who will he face?
Thunder defeated Lope by pinfall in an Omega Cup semifinal match to advance.
The crowd chanted Thunder's name for most of the match. The Gladiator took the fight to Lope and finished him with a Tempest. One has to wonder if the match would have ended differently if Lope was closer to 100%. As it is Thunder will face Kenji in the final match.
Suddenly The Basilisk comes running down and attacks Lope. Maramus runs down after him trying to get him to stop. Lope and The Basilisk are brawling in the ring as the fans cheer them on. Then a surprise as Amazonia, carrying her shield, comes running out from the back. She quickly slides in and to the surprise of everyone she swings her shield and blasts Lope. She then looks at The Basilisk, tells him no and motions for him to follow her. She leaves to the back and The Basilisk follows her. Maramus at first looks confused then upset and finally seems to be relived.
Witness has his bag packed and he's leaving when he hears laughing. He looks over to see MYC. Some dirty looks are exchanged.
Cosmic Woman beat Rhea w/Sinful via pinfall in a Cosmic Cage match.
The two women get in the ring and the cage is lowered. Sinful paces around the ring on the outside. The two powerful women charged each other and slugged it out. The fans loved that. Rhea was starting to put some offense together when Cosmic Woman's energy formed a force field to turn the tables. Cosmic Woman tossed Rhea into the cage a couple times. She performed Vortex Unleashed and covered Rhea for the pin. Sinful started to climb the ring and Cosmic Woman drop kicked her off it. Soon as the cage door was opened Cosmic Woman slipped out and went straight to the back. It seemed she felt her business with them was done.
A replay of highlights of quarterfinal and semifinal matches that led us to this point. We are guaranteed not only a new Omega Cup champion this year but a first time champion.
Thunder over Kenji by pinfall in an Omega Cup final match to win the Cup.
The level of crowd excitement hit a high in this match. Kenji put up a good fight but it felt like he was fighting Thunder and the crowd. When a Tempest didn't get him the win Thunder went for a Thunder Clap and followed up with a second Tempest. He covered and the ref counted three. The fans counted along and exploded after the three. Thunder was handed the Omega Cup and he held it high over his head.

Awesome that Thunder was the Aethran chosen for the Omega Cup and he wins it too! He just keeps adding to the legend that he is! It seems the Death Council is no longer a threat. Infinity was able to defend his championship against Necros, and even Infinity-Plex isn’t as dominant as he used to be. The cage match between Cosmic Woman and Rhea seemed intense, but time will tell if Cosmic Woman os done with them. Great job, and keep it up buddy!
