Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson, and Troy. I never even thought of a hardcore title but maybe that could come with the next tournament? I'll have to think about it but it is a cool idea. This time out we journey over to England for a history making dose of World of Sport, I hope that you enjoy the action. Coming up soon after will be the debut of Grand Prix Wrestling so some fun stuff upcoming...
Card #1417 - Bolton Arena - Bolton, Greater Manchester, England - World of Sport
Seconds away, Round One…
01) Biff Busick & Martin Stone defeated Beef Candy Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The opening tag team contest featured Beef Candy, Richie Slade & Flex McCallion, of ASW taking on Biff Busick & Martin Stone. The all-Atlantic union of Busick and Stone made it quick work in this one. They homed in on Slade and, after he somehow survived the top rope version of the Half and Half Suplex from Busick, Stone locked him in a Crossface to score a submission victory.
02) Chris Brookes (Tipton, West Midlands) defeated Benjamin Carter (Isle of Jersey) (2-0, 3 Rounds) Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The popular high-flying Benjamin Carter took on his rival Chris Brookes, a known thorn in the side of WOS Ambassador Henry Irslinger. The arrogant Brookes dominated the first round but in the second it was all Carter. That is until the final moments when a reversal by Brookes led to Death by Roll-Up for a snake eyes pin. A confident Brookes carried that into the third round and early on he nailed Carter with the Melon Blade Bomb for the pin. Brookes won it two to nil and will likely enjoy boasting of that victory.
03) The North defeated Super Smash Brothers Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* Tremendous tag team action saw the popular Super Smash Brothers, Player Uno & Player Dos, face The North, “All Ego” Ethan Page & “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. This all Canadian tag team bout saw the Super Smash Brothers dominate, including hitting Fatality on Page with Alexander making a last second save. The North rebounded courtesy of Alexander which set up Page hitting the Spinning Dwayne on Player Dos for the pin.
04) Chris Hero (USA) defeated Flash Morgan Webster (A Town called Malice) (2-0, Four Rounds) Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* Flash Morgan Webster, one-half of Subculture alongside Mark Andrews, went solo to take on Chris Hero, who himself was part of a great tag team with Claudio Castagnoli as the Kings of Wrestling. This was a hard fought bout that gave both men a chance to shine. Hero went up one to nil in the third round when he delivered Deathblow on Andrews for the pin. Andrews was shaken up between rounds but came out ready to fight. Unfortunately for him, Hero did as well and he unleashed an offense barrage before delivering a Rolling Elbow for the pin and a decisive 2-0 victory after four rounds.
05) Johnny Saint (Failsworth, Greater Manchester) defeated Tommy Gilbert (USA) (2-0, Four Rounds) Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The popular Johnny Saint, a two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight Champion and native of Greater Manchester, faced Tommy Gilbert, the patriarch of the Gilbert wrestling family. This was two battle tested veterans going at it in a mostly scientific battle. A thrilling second round ended when Saint trapped Gilbert in the Three In One for the submission to take a one to nil lead. Gilbert held his own in the third round hoping to even the score but Saint avoided defeat. Saint would take it early in the fourth round as he pinned Gilbert with a High Cross Body Block for a 2-0 victory.
06) Davey Boy Smith Jr. (Canada) defeated Rohit Raju (India) (2-0, Four Rounds) Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The popular Davey Boy Smith Jr. took on WOS newcomer Rohit Raju, a tough competitor based out of Hyderabad, India. With the British Bulldogs going for the tag team championship in the main event, Smith Jr. was hoping to send some momentum their way. Raju held his own, even surviving the Bulldog Bomb in the second round, but a mistake in the third round cost him. Smith Jr. took advantage of a missed corner charge by Raju, executing a Counter Roll-Up for a snake eyes pin. A second Bulldog Bomb would take it home for Smith Jr. early in the fourth round, as he scored the pin and was awarded a 2-0 victory.
07) Moustache Mountain defeated Fit Finlay & David Taylor Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* Two of the top tag teams in WOS squared off as Moustache Mountain, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate, opposed Fit Finlay & David Taylor. This was a classic bout of toughness and endurance. Both teams were pushed to the limit and it was a late surge by Moustache Mountain that allowed them to take the lead. They hit The Summit on Taylor but Finlay made a clutch save. Taylor rebounded but then it was Seven cutting him off and he ended it deathjump-style connecting with a Flying Cross Body Block for the pin. Finlay attempted another save but Bate cut him off so it was Moustache Mountain coming away with a big tag team victory.
08) Pete Dunne (Birmingham) defeated Exotic Adrian Street (Royal Forest of Dean) (2-0, Four Rounds) Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The final rounds-based match of the night saw Exotic Adrian Street take on the “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. This match had a certain intensity to it largely based on Dunne boasting that he could beat Street, a former LOW International and Junior Heavyweight Champion. Street was going to make him earn it, though, as he took the fight to the aggressive Dunne early and often. The tide turned on a third round reversal as Dunne followed up with a Rope Hung DDT on Street for the pin and a one to nil lead. Dunne showed off that trademark aggression early in the fourth round crushing Street with an X-Plex on the apron. He quickly followed that with Bitter End and scored the pin taking a 2-0 victory.
09) Jonah Rock & WALTER defeated Dan Severn & Zach Sabre Jr. Referee: Bryce Remsburg
* The first of a double tag team main event featured a titanic showdown as Dan “The Beast” Severn & Zack Sabre Jr. faced Jonah Rock & WALTER. There was serious heat between Severn and Rock, coming off Severn choking Rock out to win a big singles clash. WALTER assisted Rock in a post-match attack before Sabre Jr. ran in to help Severn leading to this tag team bout.
This was a barnburner from start to finish. Sabre Jr. used his technical skills to great effect, at one point trapping WALTER in Orienteering with Napalm Death for a submission chance. Severn likewise used his power and technical skills to survive but late in the bout Rock and WALTER began a massive comeback. They got the heat on Severn for an extended stretch throwing some heavy bombs. That was capped off by Rock nailing Severn with the King Kong Lariat for the pin as WALTER fended off a save attempt by Sabre Jr.
10) LOW World Tag Team Titles: British Bulldogs defeated Jack & Jerry Brisco to win the titles Referee: Morgan Dollar
* The LOW World Tag Team Titles were on the line in the main event as the British Bulldogs, Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith, faced the 40th titleholders Jack & Jerry Brisco. LOW senior referee Morgan Dollar was in charge of the action and he called it strict meaning that a disqualification could come into play if either team got out of line. Fortunately that did not happen as both teams shook hands following the ring introductions and proceeded to put on a tag team wrestling clinic. Timely tags were featured throughout the contest which saw the speed and power of the Bulldogs put to the test against the technical expertise of the Brisco Brothers.
This match could have gone either way and although the crowd was clearly in favor of the Bulldogs they appreciated the good sportsmanship of Jack and Jerry Brisco. Unfortunately for the champions, the Bulldogs were able to avoid their dreaded Figure Four Leglock finisher and stay in the fight. They also survived a double tackle on Dynamite for a two count. The finishing sequence saw a flurry of action between Davey Boy Smith and Jack Brisco. Davey Boy won out with a delayed vertical suplex. That set up the Bulldogs delivering the Tower of London on Jack with Dynamite scoring the pin as Jerry was prevented from making a save.
The British Bulldogs made history in Greater Manchester, the home region of Davey Boy Smith, by becoming the 41st LOW World Tag Team Champions. The crowd was going crazy as the Bulldogs were joined in a victory celebration by Davey Boy Smith Jr., Johnny Saint, and Moustache Mountain among others. The Brisco Brothers made their way through the sea of supporters and again shook hands with the British Bulldogs ending a great night of action.

World of Sport continues to deliver its unique brand of action... And I'm obviously stoked for the debut of Canada's own Grand Prix Wrestling!
Here's my Top 3 Countdown for this card:
3/ I recently got to see Trent Seven live at a local indy show and he was extremely entertaining and seemed to genuinely appreciate the chance to perform even though it was a very small crowd... So, I'm definitely giving a nod to Moustache Mountain's victory over Finlay & Taylor, who would be a pair of incredibly tough opponents.
2/ Even though neither man was involved in the actual finish, it's very cool that WALTER and ZSJr had a chance to tangle during that highly competitive tag team affair... It would be great to see what kind of technical masterpiece these two could put together in a singles match.
1/ The British Bulldogs begin their first reign as LOW World Tag Team Champions! RULE, BRITANNIA!

I have been away for too long for personal reasons, but I wanted to get this show posted as I know some of you were looking forward to the debut of Grand Prix Wrestling under the LOW banner. It is a Canadian-based territory which I hope will add something special to my fed. I hope you enjoy the show and with any luck I will have another one posted soon...
Card #1418 - Paul Suave Arena - Montreal, Quebec, Canada - Grand Prix Wrestling - Debut Show
01) Kevin Blackwood defeated Tiger Conway Sr. Referee: Dick Woehrle
* A great opening contest to kick off GPW saw the veteran Tiger Conway Sr. take on Kevin Blackwood, a young upstart out of Buffalo, NY, who was making his debut in LOW. Conway dominated from the outset having Blackwood in trouble but soon that turned around. After Conway twice survived the Diving Double Stomp, Blackwood poured it on and hit a third Diving Double Stomp for the pin. It was a hard fought win for Blackwood who made a statement in his debut.
02) Mike Bailey defeated Brian Pillman Jr. Referee: James Beard
* Outstanding light heavyweight action was featured next as “Speedball” Mike Bailey took on Brian Pillman Jr. This one turned into an instant classic with both men having chances to win. Bailey hit both Ultima Weapon and Flaming Driver while Pillman Jr. countered with Dire Promise for near falls. Things turned on a missed deathjump dive by Pillman Jr. with Bailey hitting a buzzsaw kick for a two count followed by the Green Tea Plunge for the pin.
03) Angelo & Lanny Poffo defeated Hamilton Wrecking Crew Referee: Joey Marella
* The father-and-son team of Angelo & Lanny Poffo had their hands full facing the Hamilton Wrecking Crew, former LOW World Tag Team Champions “Golden Greek” John Tolos & Chris Tolos. The two brothers intimidated ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta with John grabbing the mic saying that wrestling is spelled T-O-L-O-S. Once the match got underway it turned into a tag team classic, including the referee being knocked down on a deathjump attack by the “Golden Greek”. Quick tags and great teamwork were at the forefront in the home stretch which saw Lanny Poffo with a shocker as he pinned John Tolos with the Sky Drop. It was a bitter defeat for the Tolos Brothers with Angelo Poffo, the father of LOW World Heavyweight champion Randy Savage, rubbing it in saying that wrestling is spelled P-O-F-F-O.
04) Masked Superstar, Alexis Smirnoff & Eric the Red (with Eddie Fyne) defeated Yukon Eric, Billy Red Lyons & Dewey Robertson Referee: Dick Woehrle
* The first of two big trios matches featured Yukon Eric, Billy Red Lyons & Dewey Robertson against Masked Superstar, Alexis Smirnoff & Eric the Red along with their manager “Elegant” Eddie Fyne. Returning to LOW after a long absence, the arrogant Fyne has assembled quit a stable in Superstar, Smirnoff and Eric the Red. They showed their worth by taking the opposition head on. Eric, Lyons and Robertson all had good offensive runs in the match, giving Fyne at least some cause for concern. The powerful Smirnoff turned the tide late, nearly pinning Robertson with the delayed pump suplex. It was the masked man that finished it off as the Superstar blasted Robertson with a Superstar Clothesline for the pin. Fyne looked pleased as his men got off to a good start in GPW.
05) Empress Ring Tag Team Titles: Glamour Girls defeated Joyce Grable & Thekla to win the titles Referee: James Beard
* The 4th Empress Ring Tag Team Champions Joyce Grable & Thekla put the gold on the line against the Glamour Girls, Leilani Kai & Judy Martin, one of the more decorated women’s tag teams in LOW. Grable and Thekla overcame their lack of experience as a team to recently win the belts but were given a big roadblock in Kai and Martin in their version one title defense. This was a fierce battle with both teams determined to win it. The intensity picked up late with Kai using a Boston Crab to punish the lower back of Thekla. Grable urged her to fight out and make a tag but instead the Glamour Girls continued on offense. An over the knee backbreaker by Kai led to Martin tagging in and leveling Thekla with a Power Bomb to score the pin. History was made on the GPW debut show as the Glamour Girls won the titles.
06) Larry Hennig defeated Killer Kowalski Referee: Dick Woehrle
* Two grizzled veterans squared off as Larry “The Axe” Hennig took on Killer Kowalski. This was a slugfest that ended rather quickly. Kowalski had the momentum but when he attempted the Bombs Away, Hennig rolled out of the way. That set up a deathjump (ch) by Hennig followed with The Axe for a snake eyes pin. Kowalski was livid claiming a fast count but the referee awarded the win to Hennig.
07) The Sheepherders defeated Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon Referee: Joey Marella
* Two of the roughest and toughest tag teams in LOW squared off as Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon faced The Sheepherders, Butch Miller & Luke Williams. This match quickly devolved into a wild brawl, with plenty of action taking place on the floor. The Vachon’s nearly won it when Butcher applied the Hangman on Miller but he managed to fight out of it. Another brawl on the floor led to The Sheepherders taking over. Back inside, they nailed Butcher with the Double Gutbuster with Williams scoring the pin as Miller fended off Mad Dog. The two teams kept fighting post-match with Mad Dog and Butcher winning out driving The Sheepherders out of the ring.
08) The Quebecers defeated Long Riders Referee: Dick Woehrle
* The Quebecers, Jacques Rougeau & Pierre Carl Oullett, got a monster pop from the hometown crowd as they hit the ring to take on the Long Riders, Wild Bill Irwin & Scott “Hog” Irwin. This first time matchup could have easily headlined this stacked debut for Grand Prix Wrestling in Quebec. Both teams had chances to win this wild bout, which saw Wild Bill hit the Float Kick on both opponents for near falls. Scott Irwin also delivered his trademark Superplex on Oullett for a big near fall. It was Scott Irwin who would be the worst for wear by the end, having been busted open by The Quebecers on the outside. The finish saw The Quebecers hit their second Tower of Quebec on a bloody Scott Irwin, with Jacques covering him for the pin.
09) Angelo Mosca, Jimmy Snuka & The French Angel defeated Abdullah the Butcher, One Man Gang & George Steele (with Sir Oliver Humperdink) Referee: James Beard
* Trios action was featured in the semi-final as Angelo “King Kong” Mosca, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka & The French Angel combined to take on the forces of a rebuilt House of Humperdink – Abdullah the Butcher, One Man Gang & George “The Animal” Steele. Manager Sir Oliver Humperdink acquired Steele recently and found out that controlling “The Animal” is no easy task. Longtime LOW observers will note that The French Angel and Steele were once tag team partners in the now defunct Global Wrestling Association before splitting and engaging in a wild and memorable rivalry. That rivalry was renewed during the course of this wild bout.
Most notable, however, was the return of Snuka to LOW after a long absence and the “Superfly” did not disappoint during his time in the ring. Mosca also had something to prove, earning the trust of his fellow Canadians after a long time spent on the heel side of things in LOW. It didn’t take long for them to warm up to “King Kong”, especially when he went up against OMG. Abdullah the Butcher was a real force in there as well, abusing the opposition with his ruthless attacks. A big turning point came when The French Angel avoided the 747 Splash of OMG. That led to a turnaround and, following a wild melee on the floor, it was The French Angel scoring the pin on Steele after delivering a Fearsome Head Butt.
10) Andre the Giant defeated The Sheik (with Abdullah Farouk) Referee: Joey Marella
* The main event was a WrestleCade 14 rematch as Andre the Giant faced The Sheik, accompanied by Abdullah Farouk. It was a technical win by The Sheik via count out at the big event that has had Andre thirsting for revenge. It was a no brainer for GPW to acquire this showcase main event for their inaugural show and it lived up to its billing. Andre was on fire from the opening bell battering The Sheik, including hitting the Big Splash prompting Farouk to distract the referee to break up the pin. It was clear that the Giant had revenge on his mind and it wasn’t long before The Sheik was busted open and bleeding badly.
The Sheik managed a rope counter, thwarting a backdrop, and had a brief offensive using the sadistic hammerlock on Andre. It wasn’t long before Andre began battling back and had The Sheik in trouble again. Another distraction by Farouk saved his man but only served to enrage the Giant even more. Then came a crazy moment as Wild Bull Curry, who is under contract to GPW, attempted to interfere but Andre swatted him away and hit the Big Splash on a bloody Sheik for the pin. Andre earned a big revenge win but one has to wonder if he will someday return to GPW for a bout with Curry.
GPW Top 10 Singles Rankings:
01) Jimmy Snuka 02) Masked Superstar 03) Angelo Mosca 04) The French Angel 05) Larry Hennig 06) Killer Kowalski 07) One Man Gang 08) Abdullah the Butcher 09) Mike Bailey 10) Kevin Blackwood
GPW Top 5 Tag Team Rankings:

Always a treat to see you on the boards, my friend... I have been waiting with all kinds of anticipation for this inaugural Grand Prix Wrestling event and it certainly did not disappoint.
Here is my Top 3 Countdown:
3/ Kevin Blackwood kicks off the show with an exciting victory... This one holds a special place because Blackwood has been such a spectacular performer in my IPW fed and it's great to see him already experiencing success in LOW... Hoping he continues to perform well... Fingers crossed!
2/ Andre wages blood soaked war against The Sheik... Despite plenty of interference, the Eighth Wonder of the World would not be denied the revenge that he has been craving for so long... Absolutely brutal!
1/ A spectacular victory for Jacques & Pierre... How great would it be to see them challenge the British Bulldogs for those tag straps in the near future? Pretty damn great, if you ask me. VIVE LE QUEBEC!

Apologies for another long absence but family matters come first. I'm just going to be posting here for the time being so at least I can get you some updated results from my fed. Once things are back to normal for me, I can hopefully go back to posting regularly because I thoroughly enjoy all of the feds that I read on here and trust me I have been doing a lot of reading just not playing and posting.
Also, thanks to TTX and Pariah for their comments on the Grand Prix Wrestling debut. I am psyched to finally give Canada regular attention in my fed and GPW is quickly becoming a favorite of my territory system. In any event, up next is action from IWTV which I hope that you enjoy...
Card #1419 - Wonderland Ballroom - Revere, MA - IWTV - Announcers: Ian Riccaboni & Excalibur
IR: “Welcome wrestling fans to another installment of IWTV and do we have a great program in store today featuring the finals of the IWTV Championship Tournament. Four men – “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham, Warhorse, the master of “Taigastyle” Lee Moriarty and Claudio Castagnoli – will be competing for the gold here tonight.”
EX: “That’s right, Ian, and I for one can’t wait to see who takes the gold. The odds on favorite is Castagnoli but don’t discount any of the other three men competing. Also, tonight we have the debut in trios action of IWA Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole’s worst nightmare in Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson and Roderick Strong. All three men want a shot at that title and Cole will do his level best to avoid it. Another man aiming for that title makes his IWTV debut tonight as well and that is “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega of The Elite.”
IR: “That’s right Excalibur and I have it on good authority that Omega has indeed issued an open challenge so it will be interesting to see who takes him up on that. We also have two big championship matches, oh wait…”
The broadcast was interrupted by Ross & Marshall Von Erich who hit the ring to big cheers from the crowd. They said that they have both been medically cleared to return and want Violence is Forever, Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku, in the ring right now. IWA Commissioner David Marquez showed up at ringside and said that VIF were not in Revere but they could have their match on the next IWTV card in Greenville, SC (Card #1431).
They seemed pleased by that but someone who was not pleased was Eric Young who came down and confronted Marquez. He said “that IPW reject” Matty Star spoiled his debut in IWTV and he wants his rematch. Marquez agreed and said he could have it in Greenville as well. Young ranted and raved about Star before storming off allowing Riccaboni to toss it to ring announcer Larry Legend for the opening contest…
01) IWTV Title Tournament Semi-Final Round: Warhorse defeated Jonathan Gresham
* The first of two semi-final round matches saw “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham face Warhorse, a match that began with a hand shake. What followed was a hellacious battle that saw both men go all out to achieve victory. Gresham was busted open but showed amazing resilience continually battling back from pinfall and submission attempts. Warhorse also survived the shooting star press (ch) and sleeper from Gresham. It could have gone either way but in the end it was a third application of the Scorpion Deathlock by Warhorse that saw Gresham tap out. Warhorse won it by submission and claimed his spot in the finals of the IWTV Title Tournament.
02) IWTV Title Tournament Semi-Final Round: Claudio Castagnoli defeated Lee Moriarty
* The other semi-final match saw the “Taigastyle” master Lee Moriarty face Claudio Castagnoli, sometimes referred to as the “Swiss Superman”. Excalibur pointed out that Castagnoli looked primed and ready for singles success, after years of teaming with Chris Hero as the highly decorated Kings of Wrestling. Riccaboni agreed but said that Moriarty was hungry as well and looking to take a big step in his career. Moriarty did great, even surprising Castagnoli with a rolling European Clutch for a quick two count. He also struck with Taigadriver X but Castagnoli kicked out before the three count. A late burst of offense by Castagnoli turned the tide as he blasted Moriarty with European Uppercuts, both rolling and diving. That set up the finish which saw Castagnoli plant Moriarty with the Ricola Bomb for the pin. Castagnoli staked his claim in the finals facing Warhorse to determine the new IWTV Champion.
03) Chelsea Green, Savannah Evans, & Jennacide defeated Candice LeRae, Willow Nightingale & Janai Kai
* Maria Kanellis of Women’s Wrestling Army joined in on commentary for this trios match pitting Candice LeRae, Willow Nightingale, & “The Kick Demon” Janai Kai against Chelsea Green, “The Cannibal” Savannah Evans & “The Bionic Beast” Jennacide. She praised all six women and said all of them would make viable challengers for newly crowned IWA Women’s Champion Tootie Lynn. Riccaboni and Excalibur agreed and as this match progressed they were proven right. This was a great bout highlighted by the showdown between Nightingale and Evans. They were involved in the final stretch which saw Evans get the better of the action before capturing Nightingale in a Fisherwoman’s Suplex for the pin.
* Veda Scott entered the ring to interview a special guest, IWA Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole. It became clear pretty quickly that Cole was in a foul mood. He took exception to Scott’s line of questioning regarding four potential challengers in Roderick Strong, Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black and Kenny Omega. He claimed that all four were “at the back of the line” as far as he is concerned and that none of them would be fighting for his title anytime soon.
IWA Commissioner David Marquez had heard enough and entered the ring to confront Cole stating that he has no say in who his next challenger will be. Cole disputed that because he is “undisputed” and said that being the champion means he has the power.
Marquez was fed up and said that the title will be defended on the next IWTV card in Greenville and if Cole is refusing to face any of those men then he will have to meet a different challenger. Cole said he had no problem with that and so Marquez named his next challenger as the longest reigning champion in IPW history, The Big Picture. Cole laughed it off but wasn’t laughing when The Big Picture actually showed up at ringside. Cole quickly slid out of the ring as Picture, listed at 6’2” and 305-pounds, grabbed the mic and said that the title “picture” will change in Greenville.
04) Ava Everett vs. Ms. Frankie Jay was a Draw
* A tremendous match-up featured Ava Everett facing Ms. Frankie Jay with both women looking to impress the rankings committee. Excalibur noted during the bout that the first IWA Women’s title defense for Tootie Lynn will be against her final opponent in the championship Battle Royal, Billie Starkz, on the next card in Greenville.
Everett was a house of fire early scoring three consecutive near falls with a cutter, a reverse DDT and her trademark Fisherman Neckbreaker. Jay had to dig down deep to battle back but she did, impressively turning the tide against Everett. Jay even survived an Ace Crusher on the ring apron. With time running down, Jay hit her finisher, the Swinging Neckbreaker, twice for big near falls. Everett’s resilience fended off defeat and moments later the bell sounded ending the match in a time limit draw.
05) Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson & Roderick Strong defeated MJF, Austin Theory & Ricky Starks
* What was an anticipated trios match ended in quick fashion. The dream team of Tyler Black, “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson & Roderick Strong, who came together due to a desire to take down IWA Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era, dismantled the arrogant team of MJF, Austin Theory & “Absolute” Ricky Starks. They isolated MJF, much to the delight of the Revere crowd, with Danielson taking him down with a Tiger Suplex for a two count. That set up Strong delivering the Sick Kick with deadly precision on MJF resulting in the pin. Black grabbed the mic afterward and said that Cole can run and hide all he wants but “The Architect”, “The Dragon” and “The Messiah of the Backbreaker” will put an end to him and his cronies and “that is a fact that is undisputed!”
06) Jay Lethal & Scorpio Sky defeated Keith Lee & Calvin Tankman by DQ
* Grudge tag team action saw the 600-plus pound pairing of “Limitless” Keith Lee & Calvin Tankman take on Jay Lethal & Scorpio Sky, members of the former Pringle Dynasty. This was a hard fought bout with Lee looking for revenge against the men who attacked him leading to Tankman making a surprise save. Things broke down on the floor late where Lee, in an attempt to get at Lethal, lost his cool and put Lethal through the announce table with a with a Spirit Bomb. Both Riccaboni and Excalibur barely escaped taking collateral damage, and Lee was disqualified for his actions allowing Lethal and Sky to score a painful technical victory.
07) Sefa Fatu defeated Kenny Omega by DQ
* Sometimes issuing an open challenge can backfire and that appeared to be the case as “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega, a former LOW World Heavyweight Champion, had to face the debuting Sefa Fatu. A native of Sacramento, CA, the imposing Fatu hit the ring looking to make a name for himself in IWTV. Omega started out strong and even hit the One Winged Angel but Fatu kicked out just before the three count. Fatu stormed back, taking over outside the ring, and caught Omega with a po-up Samoan Drop. Sensing a bad situation, Omega resorted to using the Spray Can and blinded Fatu resulting in a snake eyes disqualification. It was a way out for Omega who Riccaboni stated may have bitten off more than he can chew on this night.
08) IWA J-Crown Title: Shane Strickland© defeated Tony Deppen to retain the title
* The 14th IWA J-Crown Champion Shane “Swerve” Strickland put the gold on the line against Tony Deppen, a brash young challenger from Hershey, PA, “The Sweetest Place on Earth”. Deppen made a great accounting of himself, pushing “Swerve” to the limit in a hard-fought contest. That included nailing Strickland with a Running Knee Strike for a near fall. Strickland had to dig into his reserves, especially with Deppen showing great resiliency. After Deppen kicked out of a pair of JML Driver’s, Strickland went up top and hit a 450 Splash for the pin. It was a successful version one title defense for “Swerve” who soaked in the cheers of the crowd afterward.
* In between matches, Brody King made his way to the announce table and said that after PCO left he has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for his chance. He said that he was tired of waiting and issued an open challenge. The crowd erupted in cheers as the popular Danhausen made his way out. Sensing an opportunity to “make monies”, he went right up to King and “cursed” him. King was incensed and wanted to fight right there but Danhausen slinked off saying “Very Nice, Very Evil!” It was not what King was expecting but he told Riccaboni and Excalibur that he would see Danhausen in the ring.
09) IWA Tag Team Titles: reDRagon defeated Young Bucks to win the titles
* A rematch from WrestleCade 14 weekend saw 15th IWA Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson, put the belts up against reDRagon, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly, representing Undisputed Era. This was a great bout that early on saw the quick tags and teamwork of the Young Bucks controlling the pace. The Bucks had it going good until O’Reilly turned it around for reDRagon. They worked over Matt, getting the heat on him for a good stretch and busting him open in the process. Jackson survived Armageddon from O’Reilly but was desperate for a tag.
That big tag never came as IWA Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole showed up and pulled Nick off the ring apron. That allowed reDRagon to hit the Knee Strike & Regal Plex combo on Matt with Fish scoring the pin. For the first time, reDRagon were crowned IWA Tag Team Champions and the celebration was on for Undisputed Era. Cole grabbed the mic and said that the win by reDRagon was “undisputed” and that they now controlled the two top championships in IWTV, a fact that could not be disputed. Kenny Omega then hit the ring sending Cole, Fish and O’Reilly scrambling but the damage was done on what was a tough night for the members of The Elite.
10) IWTV Title Tournament Final Round: Warhorse defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the title
* The road to crown the first IWTV Champion reached it’s conclusion as Warhorse faced Claudio Castagnoli in the final round. Excalibur noted that Castagnoli, the “Swiss Superman”, was a heavy favorite but not to discount Warhorse who has made a great name for himself in independent wrestling. Riccaboni agreed and said that on any given night anyone could beat anyone and that both men were worthy of meeting for the championship. IWA Commissioner David Marquez joined IWA senior referee Todd Sinclair in the ring awaiting the two participants. Once the pre-match ceremonies were over, it was time for ring announcer Larry Legend to officially introduce Warhorse and Castagnoli.
This was a great final round match which saw Warhorse outsized but determined. The powerful Castagnoli punished him throughout but was unable to put Warhorse away. Warhorse battled back and hit Death by Doublestomp but Castagnoli kicked out before the three count. That was the point where Castagnoli must have realized that he was going to have to pour it on to put Warhorse away. The battle continued and went to the floor and that was where it was decided. Warhorse was able to get Castagnoli into position for his devastating Double Stomp off Apron. Moments later, he rolled Castagnoli into the ring and quickly cradled him into a pin. Warhorse had fought against the odds and in doing so had the honor of being crowned the first IWTV Champion.

Always happy to see you posting, my friend... In whatever capacity possible... This was a brilliant installment of IWA action and without further ado... My Top 3 Countdown!
3/ Warhorse becomes the inaugural IWTV champion... Normally, this would easily capture the number one spot because Warhorse RULES ASS! But...
2/ A surprise appearance by Danhausen steals the show! That hasty retreat was probably a wise move... Big, bad Brody King is not a challenge to be taken lightly.
1/ Like it or not, the greatest faction on the indy circuit now controls the gold... UNDISPUTED BAY-BAY!
