Pampero over Mosca is wild, but too bad Angelo Mosca lost that match. It is cool that both came over in a trade and faced off with each other, plus I like that the Russian team earned a victory in the opening of the show... I was expecting the opposite result, Crimson, so it was a surprise when Firpo got the win over Mosca. If anything the finish has me wanting to rematch them so this could be the start of a nice rivalry between the two. I was looking to bring Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov in as a team somewhere and I had an opening in PCW so they could be a nice fit. Thanks for the comments my friend.

Enjoy seeing Sensational Sherri with the gold and hoping she holds into that belt for awhile... Hot Rod looked good in the closing match against the LOW International HW champ... But, Giant Baba persevered and gained a technical decision over the Rowdy challenger... Tony Atlas helped his team emerge victorious against SSA, Inc. and now thinks he'll be able to end the title reign of the GREATEST LOW Tex-Arkana TV champion of ALL-TIME... Best of luck, Mr. USA because The Mountie is this company's Paragon of Virtue and he ALWAYS gets his man! And it's very cool that Jeff Cobb has signed a contract with PCW... Especially since the monster Matanza appears to have left Lucha Underground. Fun stuff, as always! The Giant Baba vs. Roddy Piper match exceeded my expectations. That was a real fun match and Piper made a great accounting of himself there. The "Paragon of Virtue" (Love it ) could be in for a tough time if he defends against Tony Atlas, who definitely deserves a rematch, but as we know The Mountie somehow finds a way out of tough spots. Is there some kind of connection between Jeff Cobb and the monster Matzanza that I should know about? Thanks for the comments, Pariah.

Hey cruefan68! Pacific Coast Wrestling - Card 1205 was a lot of fun brother but Giant Baba retaining the title after fending off Hot Rod was absolutely killer that Giant Baba retained the LOW International title. I have a feeling The Paragon of Virtue will hold onto his Tex Arkana title a bit longer though. Would love to see the Mountie defend the title against Blackjack Mulligan sometime but whichever direction that it goes from here I know for a fact that it won't dissapoint. Great to see Freddie Blassie in action, he got back to form in no time! Really looking forward to Jeff Cobb's impact here. Outstanding amigo! As noted in my response to Pariah, Baba vs. Piper was really something and Piper almost became a two-time champ. It seems like you and Pariah definitely agree on the "Paragon of Virtue" but you never know who might sneak in and take the gold. Blackjack Mulligan is another former champ who definitely could be in line for a title shot. The "King of Men" - "Classy" Freddie Blassie is definitely back in form and he is not too happy which could spell trouble for everyone in PCW, especially if he decides to both manage and wrestle. Jeff Cobb is going to be fun to use since I have never used that card before, right Pariah Thanks for the comments, Bri.

Quick Results:
1) Jazz & Lacey defeated Sumie Sakai & Krissy Vaine by Count Out
2) Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Rusty Brooks (Pinfall – Flying Spear)
3) Valiant Brothers (“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant) defeated “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase & Virgil (Johnny Valiant pinned Virgil – Super Elbow)
4) Apter’s Corner with Abdullah Farouk: (Abdullah Farouk announced that he is expanding his stable to include the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine) as new clients)
5) Tully Blanchard (with J.J. Dillon) defeated Brian Blair (Pinfall – Foreign Object)
6) Andre the Giant, Big John Studd & Damien Martinez (with Bobby Heenan) defeated Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) & Bruiser Brody (with Paul Ellering) (Andre the Giant pinned Animal – Big Splash)
7) LOW World tag team titles: Rock n’ Roll Express© (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeated Steve Williams & Terry Gordy to retain the titles (Robert Gibson pinned Terry Gordy – Double Dropkick)
8) LOW World Heavyweight title: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles© defeated “Ravishing” Rick Rude (with J.J. Dillon) by DQ to retain the title
Match Highlights: A hotly contested main event saw the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles put the LOW World Heavyweight title up against the cornerstone of the New Age Horsemen, “Ravishing” Rick Rude, who was accompanied by his manager J.J. Dillon. There are some that say that Rude shouldn’t have received this title shot as it should have gone to Davey Richards, the man he lost to in the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament finals at WrestleCade 12. However, with Richards unable to compete due to the ankle injury he suffered via Rude and the Horsemen it was Dillon astutely stepping in and securing the contract for his man. Rude tried to make the most of his gifted opportunity as he pounced on Styles from the opening bell including scoring a two count after a suplex. Styles turned things around and had Rude in trouble hitting key moves like the discus lariat and the Spiral Tap. It was a Rack Bomb by Styles that nearly won it but Rude managed to get his foot on the bottom rope breaking up the pin. Rude became even more aggressive after that and that proved to be his undoing. As they fought out to the floor, Rude crotched Styles on the ring barrier and then blasted him with a chair shot across the back in full view of the referee. The official immediately called for the bell and gave Styles the win via disqualification. Rude and Dillon vehemently argued the call but the decision stood. It was a successful version two defense of the championship for Styles albeit a very painful one.
After winning the LOW World tag team titles at WrestleCade 12, the popular Rock n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) were tested right out of the gate as they took on the Miracle Violence Connection (Steve “Dr. Death” Williams & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy). Williams and Gordy, who are former LOW World tag team champions, hoped to regain the belts in Boston. This was an intense tag team battle from start to finish with both sides coming close to victory. Although they gave away a lot of size and power, Morton and Gibson more than made up for it with great teamwork and determination. Some highlights included Morton scoring a two count on Gordy with a flying bodypress off the top rope, Gordy nearly putting Gibson out with an STF if not for a rope break and Williams surviving the Double Dropkick and a pin attempt by Morton as he powered out at the count of two. The finish saw both teams battling on the outside and, with Williams having been knocked over the guard rail, the Express double arm whipped Gordy chest first into the ring post. Morton then rolled Gordy back inside and the Express nailed the Double Dropkick on him with Gibson scoring the pin to retain the titles. It was a successful version one defense of the championship for the Rock n’ Roll Express.
A titanic trios match was featured as the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) teamed up with Bruiser Brody to take on Andre the Giant, Big John Studd & “The Punishment” Damien Martinez. Manager Paul Ellering accompanied his team of the Road Warriors to ringside while Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, the manager of Andre and Studd, stood in the opposite corner. This was total mayhem as the referee had an extremely difficult time trying to maintain order due to the size of the participants. Andre took great pleasure in punishing Animal in the early going, using all 450-pounds of his giant frame to full effect. Animal bounced back after avoiding a dropkick by Andre and that set off a nice offensive run for the Road Warriors and Brody. In the end, though, it was Andre putting it away as he crushed Animal with a Big Splash scoring the pin while Hawk, Brody, Studd and Martinez battled outside the ring. Even Ellering and Heenan got into it with “The Brain” beating a hasty retreat after being decked with a right hand. Andre stood tall in center ring after the pin daring Hawk and Brody to do something about it and they did. Hawk rushed in followed by Studd and Martinez and it was a brief three-on-one assault before Brody jumped in with his chain and cleared the ring of Andre and his partners.
In other action…
Brian Blair, one-half of the Killer Bees along with Jim Brunzell, took on New Age Horsemen member Tully Blanchard who had manager J.J. Dillon in his corner. This was one heck of a match that really could have gone either way. Blair was dominant early including scoring a submission chance with a Boston Crab. He had Blanchard on the run and then caught him in the Sleeper Hold prompting Dillon to provide a distraction to break it up. Blanchard fought back hard scoring near falls with a backward elbow smash and a counter roll-up out of the corner. They took the battle outside where a run into the guard rail left Blanchard busted open. Dillon was concerned as it looked like Blair might pull this one out. Blanchard had to dig down deep as well as take a shortcut which he did by using a Foreign Object, a pair of brass knuckles, which he used to knock out Blair behind the referee’s back resulting in the pin.
PWI Editor Bill Apter hosted a special live edition of Apter’s Corner with manager Abdullah Farouk. The segment began with Farouk running down Apter and Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine for continuing to rank The Sheik the number one most hated wrestler in LOW. He called The Sheik, a record five-time holder of the LOW International Heavyweight title, a wrestler of “virtue” and “great esteem and nobility” who is beloved wherever he appears. Apter disputed that stating that one could see at WrestleCade 12 that even Wild Bull Curry was cheered when going against The Sheik. Farouk grew angry but then he calmed down saying that he had important news and that is that he is expanding his stable of men in the CWA to include the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine). He said they have “untapped potential” as both singles and tag team wrestlers and with his guidance they will go to the top. Apter agreed that they could go far under Farouk’s guidance but then went back to asking about The Sheik drawing the ire of Farouk. At that point, the newly signed Rob Van Dam hit the ring to a big pop from the crowd and said that he needs to test himself and asked Farouk for a match with The Sheik. Farouk laughed it off and left the ring as RVD turned to the crowd who chanted his name.
Grudge tag team action saw the reunited Valiant Brothers (“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant) going up against the “Million $ Man’ Ted Dibiase and his bodyguard Virgil. Dibiase and Virgil did a great job getting the heat on Jimmy early preventing him from making a tag. A piledriver by Virgil set up Dibiase locking on the Cobra Clutch but Jimmy got to the ropes. Jimmy was finally able to make a counter and made the hot tag to Johnny who caught Dibiase with the Spinning Neckbreaker for a two count. Johnny did a nice job of reversing the momentum and caught Virgil with the Spinning Neckbreaker as well for another two count. Things heated up at the finish with Dibiase being knocked out of the ring before the Valiant Brothers combined on the Super Elbow on Virgil with Johnny covering him for the pin. The Valiant’s celebrated their win by pickpocketing Virgil and tossing $100 bills into the crowd drawing anger and frustration from the “Million $ Man”.
The chants of “Hooooooo!” were out in full force as Hacksaw Jim Duggan hit the ring to take on the 342-pound Rusty Brooks of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Brooks has the size but Duggan has the power to match that and he made quick work of him much to the delight of the crowd. Duggan assaulted Brooks with moves like the spinning bodyslam and the Old Glory knee drop before hitting the Flying Spear for the pin.
A fiery opening tag team match involving the stars of Ring Angels saw Sumie Sakai & Krissy Vaine take on Jazz & Lacey. Both teams were on point in this match with some great back and forth exchanges. All four women scored near falls during the match which almost ended in a time limit draw. The finish saw a battle on the outside where Jazz overpowered Sakai and nailed her with a fisherman’s buster on the floor. Sakai was out of it and wound up being counted out giving Jazz and Lacey the win.
Capitol Wrestling Alliance Top 10 Rankings:
1) The Sheik 2) Bruiser Brody 3) Bobo Brazil 4) Rick Rude 5) Ted Dibiase 6) Curt Hennig 7) Barry Windham 8) Tully Blanchard 9) Hacksaw Jim Duggan 10) Damien Martinez

Tully Blanchard winning via the brass knucks is classic stuff, I'm hoping Blanchard can keep on winning and earn some type of title shot. A good win by the Valiants and maybe they'll rise up and earn a title shot, plus I loved them pick pocketing Virgil and tossing the money...

Amazing action from the Boston Garden!
Intense finish to the opener and hopefully leads to a rematch between Sakai and Jazz just to make Jazz look that much stronger!
Duggan gives the fans a fun break and chance to cheer and laugh
The Valiant Brothers make it rain cash, fun stuff. Great set up for Sheik and RVD as the student steps out of the shadows to challenge his teacher. Not surprising that Blanchard and Blair delivered. I have always wanted to see a singles Blair card to reflect his time in Florida. Perhaps a colour version of the Bees could also include singles stats for Blair.
What can be said about the “big” six man tag team encounter other than “holy crap.” The Legion of Doom appears to have found their match but they no double will be back for more. This conflict could burn for some time. Could we see War Games at MSG in the near future?
Ricky and Robert show they can brawl with the best of the them and leave Boston with the Tag Team Gold in what might be considered an upset. Protype big man v. little man encounter that was rolled out to perfection.
Really enjoy the booking behind Dillion maneuvering to get Rude the title shot in place of Richards while the American Wolf is on the shelf. Rude blows it for himself with the crazy chair shot finish.

Hey cruefan68! The Capital Wrestling Alliance division never ever dissapoints my man. A.J. Wins!!! Version Two "Styles" - thats awesome. What a powerhouse six man tag team Andre, Studd & Martinez make - definitely not to mention the Road Warriors AND Bruiser Brody. (Loved how Brody - who sounded like he had enough - just grabbed his trusty chain and scattered the opposition!). It was awesome to see The Valiants in technicolor with the victory - but it was mondo cool for them to swipe the money. Losing is expensive right! Would be killer to see RVD and The Sheik on a collission course. Would totally be backing The Whole Fn Show. A win over him would be great to see and great for his career, beating such an accredited albeit completely diabolical former champion in The Sheik. The Voodoo Continue!!

Once again, Andre and Studd manhandle the Road Warriors... The Rn'R Express want to keep their eyes open because Heenan is leading this pair straight to tag team gold... And speaking of gold... Rude put up an excellent fight, but quickly realized that RAVISHING does not equal... PHENOMENAL!

I have 'Duke' Doherty to thank for my complimentary ticket to 'Da Garden,' but It was a little disappointing to be up in the nosebleeds. Still, the veggie dog was above average and the action in the ring was very good indeed. A lot of my favourites grace Capitol City Wrestling so whenever I'm in town, I try and make a show. Some real hum-dingers for me as well, especially seeing The Valiants, (A team that Kat Rana recently described as 'not needing to work out because they already know they look good) knock off Ted Dibiase and ole Virge.Good to see Jimmy & Johnny playing babyface here too. I also dug the Rock N Roll beating the team of Gordy and Williams in what was a real hot encounter, with a superb finish. Rock nr oll is here to stay, bay-bay! It's always cool to see Andre 'in the flesh' in a match where I'm sure I saw the ring-crew reinforcing the ring before the bout started. Great seeing Brody make the save- now there's a match I'd want to see, Andre Vs Brody! Make it happen! Sadly I missed the Main Event is the woman next to me stole my binoculars so she could get a good look at Rick Rude. I hear he beat that do-gooder Styles with a chair and got the match thrown out? I'd like to see a rematch. Upon leaving the show, I bumped into Rusty Brooks, who despite being on the end of a defeat, was in a buoyant mood, declaring that he is 'just a step away' from being where he wants to be. Good stuff all round!
