We should get together on a Johnny V manager card! I still need to make him for my '85 set... did his '85 stats!

Knapik, if you and/or LWF fan Trav do a distraction chart for Johnny V as a manager, I'll probably use it in my LOW fed. I recently had Johnny Valiant drafted from my Smackdown to my RAW brand where he has taken over as the manager for Brutus Beefcake (and possibly also for Greg Valentine if I decide to include him among the wrestlers going from my Smackdown brand to my RAW brand). I plan on keeping Johnny Valiant's official stats because I haven't actually retired him and I plan to bring him back as a full time wrestler someday. But a Johnny V distraction chart would still be very useful to me. Some of the things I remember Johnny V doing is throwing a punch (during the end of the match melee) in the match between Beefcake and David Sammartino at the first Wrestlemania and of course his cigar was used to help the Dream Team defeat the US Express for the tag team championship back in 1985 too.

It seems some of you agree with me that the manager cards in the official sets should have been distractor charts unique to that manager rather than wrestler cards.

No, I'm personally really not saying that at all. I still sometimes use the managers with their wrestling stats. But personalized distraction charts for the managers are also really cool too. I actually wouldn't mind if there were official managers cards with wrestling stats on the back and official mangers card with a disctractor chart on the back like Abdullah Farouk has (in other words 2 official cards for the managers who also wrestle- but don't have both of them in the same set-make the other one a SE/LE card and I would definitely buy it). If Filsinger Games someday gives us official distractor charts for guys such as Bobby Heenan and Jim Cornette- then I'll use them too. But if not, I'm content to use the official cards with the wrestling stats on the back and then use the great distractor charts for these managers created by Knapik and LWF fan Trav.

It's too fun not to have Cornette or Heenan getting their comeuppance sometimes.

A Johnny V manager card would be sweet! I remember talking with you on this year or two ago Trav. Nice to see it finally coming to fruition! I use those manager cards all the time and they really help create some more excitement for the matches.
