Night 1

Warlord crushed Val Venis with the Full Nelson. Venis attempted an elbow drop but Warlord avoided it, then slammed Venis down and hitting a short clothesline before locking on the Full Nelson. Venis escaped it once, but a second application was too much and Venis was forced to submit.

Jollyville Jeepers put away Dastardly Duo following the Jeeper Squeeze on Roadkill. The Duo dominated early and looked like they might take an easy win but once Clean tagged into Jerk, the Jeepers took control and they battered both Doring and Roadkill down. Once Jerk used the Jeeper Squeeze, Doring tried to make a save only to hit Roadkill. Clean tossed him out of the ring and Jerk reapplied the Squeeze forcing Roadkill to go down.

Strangler Lewis surprised Blackjack Mulligan with the Stranglehold. Mulligan found himself the victim of a quick rollup after he tossed Lewis into the ropes and then Lewis locked in the Stranglehold. Mulligan passed out in it and was later to have suffered a minor neck strain that would cause him to miss three fight cards.

Adrian Street demolished Too Cold Scorpio with the Crucifix. Scorpio just could not keep up with Street who seemed to toy with him at times especially locking on the Daffodil before locking on the Crucifix and rolled him up for the victory.

Good Old Boys surprised the Poffos when Luke pinned Angelo after the Hillbilly Drop. The Poffos had dominated most of the match but an ill timed deathjump by Angelo allowed Hillbilly Jimi to reverse and then after a brawl on the floor, he tagged into Luke who hit a couple avalanches before using the Hillbilly Drop to gain the upset.

Ox Baker crushed Jake Milliman with the Heart Punch. The Milkman was no match for the Ox who toyed with him for a while before delivering his vicious Heart Punch. Ox seemed to take some mercy though as Jake did not need a stretcher after the match.

Matthew Cross avoided an upset by Steve Corino with the Bow and Arrow. It looked like Corino might have the match but Cross avoided a dive to the floor and came back with a fireman's carry necbreaker and then the Bow and Arrow to win.

The Destroyer knocked off Terry Gordy with the Figur Four Leglock. Gordy just had trouble getting it going and Destroyer methodically pounded him down especially with sensational suplexes but it was the Figure Four Leglock that put Gordy's shoulders down for the win.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Cross and Street win their respective matches... Fun times!

Night 2

The Vachons bested The Armstrongs when Mad Dog pinned Brad following a running knee lift. Just as this was starting to get into a groove, Mad Dog drilled Brad with a big knee and covered him. Brad lifted his shoulder one moment too late giving the Vachons the win.

Tony Atlas pinned "Pretty Boy" Bobby Heenan with the Press Slam and Splash. Heenan did not want to stay down and used several dirty tricks to stay in the match including hitting Atlas with a roll of quarters. In the end though, Atlas lifted up Heenan and then hit a perfect splash for the three count.

Dan Severn finished off Dark Patriot with a choke sleeper. This was a rather violent match and Severn looked like he had it at one point only for Jimmy Hart to place Patriot's leg on the ropes. Dark Patriot then made a big comeback and almost took it only to end up in a choke sleeper and tapping out.

John Pesek forced Jeff King to submit to the Double Wristlock. King said he beat all the old time greats and Pesek would add another to that list. He actually managed to lock in the Bear Hug at one point but Pesek escaped and eventually wore King down with the Tiger Man Toe Hold before using the Double Wristlock for the submission.

Kamikaze Squad beat The Blue World Order following the Oriental Leg Sweep on Meanie. Fuji and Saito dominated the match but Richards did make a comeback with the Stevie Kick. He tagged in Meanie but Meanie quickly fell to a double team before Saito hit the Leg Sweep for the pin.

Abraham Lincoln dropped Kevin Steen with the Throat Lift Slam. This could have gone either way as control kept changing hands but Lincoln finally caught Steen with the Throat Lift Slam and covered for the three count.

Wild Bull Curry put away Mike Whipwreck with a Brass Knuckles Punch. This was an absolute bloodbath with both wrestlers coated in blood before it was over. It looked like Whipwreck was going to take it for a while but Curry would not be denied as the knuckles were just too much in the end.

Flying Redheads easily crushed The Texas Hangmen when Lyons put down Psycho with the Sleeper Hold. The Hangmen just had no solutions for the Redheads who quickly battered them down before Psycho got caught in the Sleeper Hold and passed out.

Danny Hodge squashed Nicholas Valentino with the Oklahoma Side Roll. Valentino kept countering out of an attempted backbreaker but eventually Hodge took advantage before using a fast rollup to put Valentino away.

Bobby Shane knocked off George Hackenschmidt with a rolling reverse cradle and the tights. Hack just had trouble maintaining control and Shane took advantage of it with a few cheap tricks before cradling Hack down and holding the tights to win.

So many great victories.

Especially enjoyed Adrian Street, Blackjack Mulligan's, Matthew Cross and The Jollyville Jeepers, not to mention Honest Abe.

Always a fan of your reporting style.
