I figured you'd guess that last year's Gridiron Fantasy Wrestling Champ was Dark Horseman, Bri.(I think it was pretty obvious to everyone reading that "Dark Horseman" was similar to "Black Scorpion". If Scorpion was "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, then Horseman must be "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers! This rivalry is just getting started! Here's some insight into how the match played out. Rogers was going to get a quick & easy win over Thesz, but that didn't seem right for our hero coming back for revenge. I rolled on the Gang Interference chart--hoping that Thesz would take over on offense, or at least make the match last longer. It rolled as Automatic Disqualification, so I decided to write it up as Thesz setting a trap to unmask Dark Horseman as Rogers. Thesz had no intention of winning the match. He just wanted to unmask his rival! Hopefully, the dice will make future matches look more like classic Thesz/Rogers matches. Thanks for coming along for the ride, my friend!

Good News: I'm almost done playing the next Saturday Night Special show. All I have left to do is roll the dice for a huge Eight-Man Tag Team Elimination Match between Cauliflower Alley Club(Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, Destroyer & Diamond Dallas Page)with Flying Redheads(Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) vs. Four Horsemen(Buddy Rogers, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard & Larry Zbyszko)with J.J. Dillon.
Bad News: My only internet access is the computers at the public library, and they're closing until at least the end of the month because of the coronavirus. I have no idea when I'll be back online, but when I am, I'll bring you all the exciting action you've come to expect from Rebel Wrestling!

REBEL WRESTLING YEAR 2 Saturday Night Special 10: Hollywood Sportatorium--Hollywood, Florida(Hour 1)
An outdoor camera shows the arrival of a limo in the parking lot. J.J. Dillon & The Four Horsemen get out, but they're attacked by Cauliflower Alley Club! Flying Redheads hold Dillon to make him watch Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, Destroyer & Diamond Dallas Page assault Buddy Rogers, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard & Larry Zbyszko in a scene reminiscent of Four Horsemen's parking lot ambush of The Highwaymen 5 weeks ago. Teddy Long runs outside with referees & security to separate both teams. Long says, "If you playas want to fight tonight, then you can fight in the Main Event: Four Horsemen vs. Cauliflower Alley Club in an Eight-Man Tag Team Elimination Match!".
Dr. Mike Lano: "You never know what will happen on Saturday Night Special. It's nothing like Hollywood, California. People in California know how to vote the right way. You incompetent people here don't even know how to count votes! But don't worry, my associates in the bWo will help me spread the Blue State Gospel and educate you. You're welcome!". The bWo kept Poffo in their corner so he couldn't tag his F.B.I. partners. They took turns beating him down. Nova drew blood with senton bomb and later tagged Meanie for BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL and the win. WINNER: Blue World Order(Stevie Richards--0 fatigue, Blue Meanie--0 fatigue & Super Nova--0 fatigue) beat Full Blooded Italians(Angelo Poffo--5 fatigues, Mike DiBiase--0 fatigue & Lou Albano--0 fatigue) when Nova pinned Poffo after BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL with Meanie
MATCH 2: Stan Hansen vs. Blackjack Mulligan in a #1 CONTENDER TOURNAMENT MATCH: Mulligan tried a running clothesline in the corner, but Hansen moved out of the way and Mulligan crashed into the turnbuckle. He was bleeding when Hansen hit LARIAT for the 1-2-3. WINNER: Stan Hansen--1 fatigue pinned Blackjack Mulligan--4 fatigues with LARIAT
Larry & Curt Hennig enter the ring with Bobby Heenan. Larry has a mic and says, "Why did I join Heenan Family after advising my son against it? It's simple. I saw what happened to Joe & Tully Blanchard and Blackjack Mulligan & Barry Windham after Tully & Barry joined Four Horsemen. I don't want my relationship with Curt to turn into a blood feud. Blood is thicker than water. Jimmy Snuka, you & your partner are about to find out what happens when Axe Attack is on the same page.". Snuka comes out and says, "After you attacked me last week and Teddy Long made this match, a man approached me in the locker room and offered to be my partner. I know he's a good wrestler because he beat me for the TV Title. He's Tiger Conway Sr.". Conway comes out, and the match is on!
MATCH 3: Jimmy Snuka & TV Champion Tiger Conway Sr. vs. Axe Attack(Larry & Curt Hennig) with Bobby Heenan: This was a back and forth match until Curt hit Conway with HENNIG PLEX for the win. Curt Hennig pins TV Champ Tiger Conway Sr. in a tag team match! WINNER: Axe Attack(Larry Hennig--1 fatigue & Curt Hennig--1 fatigue) beat Jimmy Snuka--3 fatigues & Tiger Conway Sr.--3 fatigues when Curt pinned Conway with HENNIG PLEX
MATCH 4: DIXIE DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP Sherri Martel(Dixie Divas Champion) with Randy Savage vs. Melina with Heavenly Bodies(Tom Prichard & Chris Candido): Melina pinned Martel in a Non-Title Match 3 weeks ago to earn this title match. Martel was ready to avenge the Non-Title loss. She hit TOP ROPE SPLASH 3 times in a row for near-falls before hitting running knee lift to pin Melina. Heavenly Bodies roll Melina out of the ring while Savage enters the ring to put Martel on his shoulder. He has a mic and says, "All hail Sherri Martel, Queen of the Dixie Divas! Oh yeah!". At that point, Trish Stratus comes out with a mic and says, "I'm sorry, 'your majesty', but who crowned you Queen? You've been ducking me ever since I got here! So why don't we have a Non-Title Match next week. If I win, I get a title shot at Bayou Bash.". Martel screams, "You're on, sister!". WINNER: Sherri Martel--0 fatigue pinned Melina--3 fatigues with running knee lift to retain Rebel Wrestling Dixie Divas Championship
END OF HOUR 1. STAY TUNED FOR HOUR 2

REBEL WRESTLING YEAR 2 Saturday Night Special 10: Hollywood Sportatorium--Hollywood, Florida(Hour 2)
MATCH 5: Valiant Brothers(Johnny & Jimmy Valiant)vs.Fabulous Freebirds(Jackie Fargo & Terry Gordy)vs.Road Warriors(Hawk & Animal)with Paul Ellering in a TRIPLE THREAT TAG TEAM MATCH: Hawk had Johnny pinned, but Jimmy attacked him with foreign object! Valiants then hit DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE on Hawk for a near-fall. Fargo broke up another pin attempt and went on the attack. He tagged Gordy who hit BAMM BAMM SLAM on Johnny, but Hawk made the save and quickly tagged Animal for DOOMSDAY DEVICE on Gordy for the 3-count. WINNER: Road Warriors(Hawk--2 fatigues & Animal--0 fatigue) beat Valiant Brothers(Johnny Valiant--2 fatigues & Jimmy Valiant--0 fatigue) & Fabulous Freebirds(Jackie Fargo--0 fatigue & Terry Gordy--0 fatigue) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match when Animal pinned Gordy after DOOMSDAY DEVICE with Hawk
MATCH 6: Big Van Vader vs. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan & Ray Stevens in a #1 CONTENDER TOURNAMENT MATCH: Bockwinkel is in the ring awaiting his opponent's entrance. Smoke fills the stage at the top of the entrance ramp. Two red lights peer through the smoke. Vader steps through the smoke to reveal that he's wearing a huge black metal mask with red lights for eyes! Vader walks down to the ring and removes his metal mask. He sits it at ringside and steps over the top rope to enter the ring. Fans are in awe of the 6'5, 452 lb. Mastodon--as is Bockwinkel! Bockwinkel looks apprehensive because he knows Vader's reputation for hurting people. Bockwinkel whispers to Heenan who takes the mic and says, "Vader, I have a business proposition for you. Let me be your manager. Walk away from this match and join my Family. You'll make more money with us than you've made in your entire career.". While Heenan's talking, Stevens tries to take a closer look at the metal mask. Vader looks at Heenan and shakes his head no. Then he points to the mask and smoke erupts out of it and into Stevens' eyes! Heenan says, "Big mistake, pal. Prepare to be humiliated.". Vader was all over Bockwinkel. He got near-falls with RELEASED POWERBOMB & VADER BOMB before shocking the crowd with MOONSAULT! Heenan grabbed Vader's foot to break up the pin. Vader grabbed Heenan by the throat, but it allowed Bockwinkel to recover. He clipped Vader's knees from behind in an attempt to injure the big man. All Bockwinkel did was (bleep) off Vader! Vader grabbed Bockwinkel for front slam that got a near-fall and drew blood. They both went for a running clothesline, and they both went down. The bloody Bockwinkel recovered first and hit a top rope crossbody block, but Vader powered out! Bockwinkel quickly applied FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. The referee didn't see Heenan holding Bockwinkel's hands under the ropes for leverage. The ref also didn't see Stevens reach under the opposite ropes to hold Vader's wrists down to prevent him from breaking the hold. The result wa a pinfall win for Bockwinkel. Heenan looked in the camera and said, :The big dummy should've listened to me.". An irate Vader got to his feet, and a scared Heenan Family ran to the back. Vader tore apart the ringside area screaming, "What time is it? It's Vader Time! Who's The Man? It's Vader Time!". WINNER: Nick Bockwinkel--4 fatigues pinned Big Van Vader--1 fatigue with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK
MATCH 7: WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Midnight Express(Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) with Jim Cornette vs. Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson): Rock 'n' Rolls wore down Rose until Morton made him bleed after 2 consecutive CROSSBODY BLOCKS. He hit another CROSSBODY BLOCK for a pin attempt. Condrey tried to make the save, but Gibson dropkicked Condrey over the top rope to the floor. Cornette tried to interfere by grabbing Morton so Rose could clobber him, but Morton moved at the last second, and Rose collided with Cornette! Morton tagged Gibson for DOUBLE DROPKICK on Rose and the 1-2-3. New World Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express! Cornette returned to the announce table and said, "I told Mama we should've went with Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane, or even Condrey & Eaton. Rose is on thin ice with me!". WINNER: Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton--0 fatigue & Robert Gibson--0 fatigue) beat Midnight Express(Dennis Condrey--0 fatigue & Randy Rose--5 fatigues) when Gibson pinned Rose after DOUBLE DROPKICK with Morton to win Rebel Wrestling World Tag Team Championship
MATCH 8: Cauliflower Alley Club(Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, Destroyer & Diamond Dallas Page) with Flying Redheads(Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) vs. Four Horsemen(Buddy Rogers, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard & Larry Zbyszko) with J.J. Dillon in an EIGHT-MAN TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: "Whipping Post" by Allmann Brothers plays as Horsemen enter the ring to boos. Rogers takes the mic to say, "Why was I the masked Dark Horseman? Because Lou Thesz--as Commissioner--would never allow me to step foot in a Rebel Wrestling ring. He's always been jealous of me. That's why I called J.J., and we created the Dark Horseman identity so I could join Barry, Tully & Larry. Helping Barry break his father's arm was just business. Attacking Thesz in his office and branding him--that was damn sure personal! I wanted him out of the office and back in the ring so I could prove my superiority. I planned on beating him before unmasking, but he had Brazil & Redheads sneak attack my friends in the locker room while Destroyer & DDP ganged up on me so he could unmask me himself. CAC proved they were cowards again when they jumped us in the parking lot earlier tonight. Now, Lou Thesz & his cronies are going down to the most elite group in the history of this great sport. WOOO!". He raises four fingers in the air as CAC come out to the ring. The referee calls for the bell, and the match is on! Blanchard hit Destroyer with foreign object twice before finishing him off with SLINGSHOT SUPLEX. Thesz pinned Zbyszko with THESZ PRESS. Windham got a near-fall on Brazil with LARIAT before putting him away with SWEETWATER SUPERPLEX. Thesz pinned Windham with THESZ PRESS. Page pinned Blanchard with DIAMOND CUTTER. Rogers made Page submit to FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. That made it 1-on-1 between Rogers & Thesz. Thesz pinned Rogers with airplane spin to win for CAC! WINNER: Cauliflower Alley Club(Lou Thesz--0 fatigue, Bobo Brazil--1 fatigue, Destroyer--2 fatigues & Diamond Dallas Page--2 fatigues) beat Four Horsemen(Buddy Rogers--3 fatigues, Barry Windham--3 fatigues, Tully Blanchard--2 fatigues & Larry Zbyszko--1 fatigue) in an Eight-Man Tag Team Elimination Match when Thesz pinned Rogers with airplane spin to become the sole survivor
Cornette: "Lou Thesz leads Cauliflower Alley Club to victory over Buddy Rogers & Four Horsemen." Lano: "Here comes Teddy Long. I think the Commissioner has some announcements to make."
Long: "Lou & Buddy, stay in the ring. I'll get to you in a minute, playas. We'll have two 15-Team Battle Royals the next 2 weeks with the winners meeting in 3 weeks in New Orleans. The winner of that match will challenge the new World Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express the following night at Bayou Bash. Also at Bayou Bash, Abdullah The Butcher will defend the Hardcore Championship against 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan, Texas Hangmen will defend the National Tag Team Championship against Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams, and Barry Windham will defend the National Championship against his father Blackjack Mulligan with Morgan Dollar as Special Referee. That brings me to you, Lou & Buddy. You'll have a 1-on-1 match at Bayou Bash--a Last Man Standing Match. Holla!"
Cornette: "What an announcement from Teddy Long! But I don't know why he didn't give my Midnight Express a rematch with Rock 'n Roll Express. They shouldn't have to compete in a Battle Royal." Lano: "Join us next week for Dixie Divas Champion Sherri Martel vs. Trish Stratus in a Non-Title Match. Also, #1 Contender Tournament Semi-Finals: Harley Race vs. Shane Douglas & Stan Hansen vs. Nick Bockwinkel."

I loved everything that went down between Bock and Vader. I see Vader getting revenge!
Also, congratulations to the Rock 'n' Roll Express! How long before Hawk and Animal come after those belts?
What a mad main event!

I loved everything that went down between Bock and Vader. I see Vader getting revenge! Also, congratulations to the Rock 'n' Roll Express! How long before Hawk and Animal come after those belts? What a mad main event! Glad you liked it, Dustin! I was finishing playing this show when the library closed so I've been sitting on it for a long time. I was curious to see the response to Bock vs. Vader. I was hoping Vader would win and was surprised when Bock won with FIGURE FOUR. I didn't see Vader submitting so I decided to get VERY creative with a pinfall. I didn't know how "realistic" the result would be, but it definitely set up events on some future shows. Look for Road Warriors to go after the gold once the Rock 'n' Roll/Midnights feud is over. That won't be until after the pay-per-view though because I'm so far behind on posting results. Thanks for reading & commenting!

Rock Riddle & Steve Regal came out to the ring. Riddle said, "Disco, I think you & Mr. Electricity could make a good team. Also last week, his father, Tiger Conway Sr., upset Jimmy Snuka to win the TV Title. Will lightning strike twice? The bell rang to start the match, and Street immediately jumped into Conway's arms and kissed him to try to throw the youngster off his game. It didn't work because Conway quickly took control. They had a back and forth match, but neither man could keep his opponent down for long. The first pin attempt of the match ended up being the only one when Street pinned Conway with CRUCIFIX. All sorts of groovy going on topdollar! First off - really enjoyed the way you introduced Big Van Vader into this. Some great victories over the last few cards were The Road Warriors in that triple threat and especially Exotic Adrian Streets retaining his title. Also enjoyed Jim Cornette saying that we have the wrong members of The Express in there. Bayou Bash I am totally looking forward too. I still hope Blackjack Mulligan beats some sense into his son lol. Welcome back brother!
